However, when I tried to check my matches today at 11am, I discovered that my account had been banned without any prior warning. My account was functioning normally at 9am and the night before. I am unsure why my account was banned as I have followed the terms and conditions. All my photos are authentic, and I have not engaged in any offensive or inappropriate behavior. I believe I have been unfairly banned from my account. I have used it for over a year without any issues until this month when I was suddenly banned. I suspect it may be due to a misunderstanding with a person I rejected. Despite my efforts to contact support, I have not received a satisfactory response as I keep getting the same email stating there's no appeal process. I have been using my phone number [redacted] for my account since January. As a platinum member, I have been enjoying the app for quite some time. Unfortunately, my account was banned today (09/21/[redacted]) after I was swiping right on profiles I found attractive. I typically use the same opening line, which is "What's something you're obsessed with?" when connecting with others. I am unsure of how I may have violated the terms of service. I suspect that Tinder shadow banned my account for two reasons. Firstly, the green heart consistently empties after my first right swipe upon entering the app, resetting every time. Secondly, the profiles I swipe right on keep reappearing. Despite my attempts to delete and recreate the account, the issues persist. My research suggests these are indicators of a shadow ban. The only exception was when I temporarily used a birthdate a few months prior to my 18th birthday, resulting in a restriction. However, after turning 18, I reactivated the account with the same number. Could this history be contributing to the problem? I've since surpassed the age I initially misrepresented, so I believe this should not be the reason for a ban.

I received a notification today stating that my account has been banned, and I am unsure of the reason behind this action. I believe I have followed all the Community guidelines and have always maintained a respectful attitude towards others. I have intermittently used Tinder for years and prioritize treating others with respect, which is why I was taken aback by the ban.
After receiving the notification, I was prompted to verify my photos. It's important to note that my account was already verified when I reactivated it. Subsequently, my account was placed under review, and it was later banned again. The lack of clarity regarding the ban is quite puzzling to me.

On 11/15, I signed up for Tinder's Gold package on my iPhone and paid $26.74 immediately debited from my account. After realizing I was misled about the features, I upgraded to the Platinum membership, expecting to pay only the price difference between the two packages, $5.34. However, Tinder charged me both upgrade fees. Although they refunded the initial $26.74, they later recharged it. This situation is disappointing as Apple handles these transactions without offering customer support. It is frustrating dealing with companies that prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. Companies that rake in billions should provide better customer service, not just automated responses. Quality products should come with proper support, regardless of the company's wealth. I am experiencing issues with my Tinder account where I am unable to receive messages or matches. Whenever I try to match with someone I like, it displays a "failed to match with..." message. This problem began around Friday night when I noticed a sudden drop in activity. I've been without any messages for four days now. I confirmed the problem when messaging a previous match on another platform, and he informed me that my profile is no longer visible to him on Tinder, despite us not having unmatched.
