I don't use Tinder much and haven't been active on it since October [redacted], except for occasional swiping. Today, I was surprised to see a message on the app saying I was banned. I always follow the rules, so I'm not sure why this happened. I initially thought my account might have been compromised. I tried to find a way to contact Tinder through a form after seeing the ban message, but the app froze, and I can't locate the form now.

I recently purchased Tinder Plus but encountered an issue when trying to use it on my new account with a changed phone number. After buying the $9.99 package, I received a "purchase error (purchase in use)" message, even though the payment was deducted from my PayPal account. I am seeking a refund to purchase Tinder Gold for my new account to resolve this problem. I suspect the payment might have gone to my old account. I have already removed the old account from my Apple ID and attempted to purchase Tinder Gold again, but encountered the same error. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in resolving this confusing situation.

I am a 28-year-old living in Havre de Grace, MD. In [redacted], I used your app and ended up meeting a girl online who has caused a lot of trouble for me. She had stated in her profile that she was 19. We met a few times over a period of about 45 days. Recently, I got into some legal trouble regarding her real age. I found out later that she was underage and now I am facing serious charges. The situation has cost me a lot in legal fees, therapy, and my job. I feel like your app didn't do enough to prevent minors from using it. This whole ordeal has taken a toll on my life and I'd appreciate the chance to explain further how this has affected me.

I want to bring to your attention a concerning individual named Greg Voss. He frequents various dating sites using multiple email addresses, often not including a photo. We have discovered his presence on Match and Meetville, where he sometimes uses authentic information but also creates fake profiles. Greg has a 16-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, despite commonly seeking relationships with women aged 18-25. He is known to be a sex addict who engages in video chatting and uses text and burner phone apps to manipulate women into sending him pictures. Greg pretends to be sweet, romantic, and sympathetic, falsely sharing about his past to gain trust before engaging in inappropriate behavior. Unfortunately, he then disappears once his deceit is revealed. If you encounter him, please be cautious. Greg's real name is Gregory Voss, and he is linked to Big Number One Motor Sports in Homewood, Alabama. He resides in Adamsville, Alabama, and his contact number is [redacted]. Some of his email addresses include [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]

I have been unsuccessfully trying to contact Tinder via email regarding my banned account linked to phone number [redacted] with no response. Even after creating a new account with a different phone number, it gets banned shortly after. Despite using less revealing photos and trying to connect my Instagram, I keep facing bans. This has caused a problem as I had scheduled dates through Tinder, including one in New York City which I can no longer contact due to the ban. Unfortunately, I had a yearly subscription tied to the account which now seems lost.

Three years ago, I was banned for being transgender. Shortly after, new gender options were added. I have been contacting support in hopes of getting my account back, but each time I was told I was unbanned, it turned out to be false. There is no way to reply to their emails, so I have to keep explaining my situation repeatedly. It is unfair that I remain banned. I know many trans individuals facing the same issue on this platform. Is this truly the stance of Tinder? Are transgender individuals not welcome? It's ironic that gender options were introduced only to ban those who use them. I request a complete reinstatement, as I have not violated any rules. I deserve to be unblocked. If someone reads this, please reach out to me directly via email for communication.

I was recently shown a screenshot of my boyfriend's Tinder profile by a friend, but my boyfriend claims it's not his as he deleted his account months ago. After contacting Tinder, my boyfriend received automated responses stating his email wasn't linked to any account. I provided Tinder with detailed information and evidence, including pictures and email addresses associated with my boyfriend, but have not heard back yet. I am feeling anxious about this situation as I want to trust my boyfriend's explanation but seeing a profile resembling his has made it challenging.

I encounter an issue when attempting to write to a match on Tinder. Upon opening the keyboard to compose a message, I receive a notification saying, "Catch us on the flip side. Swyping is better in portrait mode," even though I am already in portrait mode. This problem only started recently, and it does not happen when I am Swyping unless the phone auto-rotates. Despite trying to disable auto-rotate and lock it in portrait mode, the issue persists. Using my Android phone for messaging has not been a problem before. I am unsure if the problem lies with my phone or the Tinder app, as I have not experienced this on other platforms. I appreciate any guidance on resolving this issue. Thank you.

Hello, I have been receiving emails regarding an account for my husband. Recently, a woman from Tinder messaged him on our shared cell phone. I tried searching for his profile on Tinder, even creating a fake one, but I couldn't find any trace of his profile. Can you confirm whether there was a profile linked to his email address, [redacted], at any point in time?

I recently tried to log into my Tinder account after a break, only to discover that it had been banned. I'm puzzled as I couldn't find any actions on my part that would have violated the community guidelines. I have been a paying user because I genuinely enjoy the service, and I hold no hard feelings if my account can be reinstated. I appreciate the vigilance in upholding the rules, but this ban feels unjustified. I would be willing to continue my subscription if my access is restored. I've attempted to reach out to Tinder support previously but communication ceased once they noticed my banned status. I hope for a prompt response to address this situation. Thank you.

I'm a 39-year-old male subscriber to Tinder Gold, my recent upgrade. I'd been using the service for nearly two months when a woman contacted me through a like and then on Snapchat. She wanted to verify my identity by sending a series of texts with a six-digit number, which happened multiple times before we made plans to meet. When I went back to my Tinder account later that night, I found my settings changed to men with the same girl's picture I was chatting with. I discovered I was banned the next day with no clear reason from Tinder, despite still talking to the girl casually on Snapchat. Working in construction keeps me busy, so I'm unsure why this happened and find it unfair without any explanation.

I purchased Tinder Gold on August 19th with my $50 iTunes gift card. I opted for the $14.99 1-month subscription, which worked well initially. However, due to our family sharing plan, another account in the family got charged $15.93 for Tinder Gold, resulting in a double charge on my iTunes credit. Apple refunded the credit card charge, but my Tinder Gold stopped working after midnight on August 21st. Even though I was charged for a full month, I only enjoyed it for a day. I am frustrated with Tinder's billing practices.

I signed up using my phone number without any issues initially. However, I later tried to create an account using my old Facebook account and used the same phone number. Now, whenever I attempt to log in with my phone number, it redirects me to the new account, and I can't access my old one. Clicking on the email verification for the old account results in an error. I also attempted to change the phone number on the new account, resulting in my old number not being linked to any account. While I don't mind losing most of my matches, there is one person I haven't exchanged contact information with yet. I shared their profile with myself but can no longer access the link to super like them for a rematch as they are currently not nearby. Ideally, I would like to regain access to my old account, but if not, I hope to restore the link to that one match.

I want to alert everyone about a person named Greg Voss who is unwell. He uses various email addresses and is present on numerous dating websites worldwide, not just in the U.S. He often doesn't upload a picture. We have seen him on Match and Meetville using both his real information and fake accounts. Greg is addicted to sex and frequents dating sites, chat rooms, and video chatting apps to watch women. He manipulates women by using text and burner number apps to obtain pictures. Despite being 39 years old with a 16-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, he targets women aged 18-25. Greg appears sweet, romantic, and victimized by his ex to gain sympathy. Once he has you hooked, he engages in sexting and exchanging pictures, deceitfully using fake images and false age information. When exposed, he disappears by changing his number. I have been experiencing cyberstalking through my Tinder account. I've been attempting to delete my account on my Android mobile device where I have the app installed. However, Tinder is not allowing me access because it insists my location is off, even though I have it turned on.
I kindly request your assistance in reviewing my account status as I have not used it for months and just want to delete it. I suspect a possible hack, which has caused disruptions in all my online accounts, including Tinder.
It would be greatly appreciated if Tinder could investigate my account security on their end. I've checked multiple times but to no avail.
Email: [redacted]
Thank you.

Website issue.
Dear Customer Support,
Hello, my profile name is E'Gat, and I have been using Tinder since April of this year. I made a payment of $67.48 on April 24 and upgraded to Tinder Gold on May 6 for $[redacted].49, valid for six months until October 22.
On July 27, I encountered an issue where someone harassed me on the platform by sending constant messages every 3 seconds. Despite my attempts to ignore them, I was prompted to create a new profile. Frustrated, I uninstalled the app to stop the harassment. However, I am unable to access my profile to cancel my subscriptions. I have emailed support at GOTINDER.COM multiple times but have not received a response. I also reached out to Apple and my credit card company regarding the charges.
I enjoyed using Tinder until this unfortunate incident occurred. I am seeking your assistance to address my concerns, specifically requesting a refund and to prevent automatic billing on October 22, [redacted].
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Edgardo
P.S. I can provide a copy of the May 6 $[redacted].49 charge if needed.

I signed up for Tinder using my Visa credit card but found it unhelpful, so I tried to cancel. Unfortunately, the process was not straightforward. I ended up contacting my local bank to cancel my credit card to stop the charges. To my surprise, I was then charged on my savings account without ever entering those details. This has happened repeatedly over three months, leading me to have to cancel my debit card each time. I uninstalled the Tinder app months ago, and it feels unjust to be charged for a service I no longer use and for which I did not provide my debit card information. I am requesting a refund for the charges on my debit card, as those on my credit card were legitimate since I signed up for that service. I hope to hear from you soon. Regards, Ashain.

A few weeks ago, I created a Tinder account with friends but didn't use it until I returned from a trip to China. Upon checking, I discovered my account had been hacked. After returning to the UK, my account was banned. Despite contacting support, I haven't received much help. I hope to recreate my account and continue using the app.

I am seeking reimbursement for mistakenly choosing a year-long subscription on Tinder, realizing I made a costly error. I referenced Tinder's reimbursement policy and believe I am eligible as I canceled upon discovering this oversight. There seems to be a discrepancy with my card number on the receipt, as I used a TD Bank Visa debit card with an expiration date of 10/22. I am puzzled by the 4/26/[redacted] expiration date listed, as my bank account was charged for the subscription. I request the refund be credited to my TD Bank account or an alternative account provided. My Visa card's last four digits are [redacted]. Thank you.

I want to raise awareness about a user named Greg Voss. He is a deceitful individual who frequents numerous dating sites across different regions. Often, he refrains from uploading pictures on these platforms. Greg's presence has been detected on Match and Meetville, where he alternates between genuine and fake accounts. This man, aged 39 with a 16-year-old daughter and a 21-year-old son, has a pattern of behaving inappropriately towards younger women, typically aged between 18-25. Greg's modus operandi involves exploiting dating sites, chat rooms, and video chatting apps to manipulate women. He utilizes text and burner number apps to elicit photos from his targets. Greg appears charming and affectionate, feigning vulnerability by recounting his past relationships. Subsequently, he establishes intimate connections, only to disappear once his true identity is questioned. It is crucial to address this concerning behavior associated with Greg Voss, whose contact details and various email addresses have been shared for reference. Your vigilance can help prevent further harm caused by individuals of this nature.
