My car was once again impounded last night by Specialty Specialized Towing in Hoschton, Georgia. I am currently waiting for them to arrive to retrieve the vehicle, but they have not shown up yet. I am only an hour away and would like someone to contact the towing company to allow me to collect my belongings from the car. Thank you and have a blessed day.

We have rented from Thrifty several times in the past with no issues. However, 7 months ago, we experienced a glitch during the return process of a rental, which led to us being issued a $75 voucher for our next rental. Last night, we had an emergency and booked a car online to pick up at SRQ. Upon arrival, we were informed that we couldn't use our debit card for payment, which left us confused as we have always used it before. We do not have a credit card, so we were disappointed and frustrated by this sudden change in policy. It appears that the $75 voucher we were given will not be accepted either. This emergency situation requires immediate attention, as our circumstances are becoming increasingly dire. We are willing to pay for the rental, but we need assistance promptly to resolve this issue and be able to use our voucher.

Hello, I rented a car at Abu Dhabi Airport on the 13th of December and returned it on the 14th. Unfortunately, I don't have the contract number on hand. The contract was registered under my name, Cristina Sancho. I noticed three charges on my account: - 56.59€ on the 13th of December, which was the rental fee agreed upon at pick up. - 11.27€ on the 14th of December for gasoil upon drop off. - On the 20th of December, there was an unauthorized charge of [redacted].01€ without any prior notification or permission. I have tried reaching out to Thrifty UAE in Abu Dhabi via email twice in the past month, but haven't received any response. Thank you.

We rented a car at Atlanta airport yesterday. After waiting in line for an hour, we were informed they were waiting for more cars. Eventually, we got our car and declined the insurance option, agreeing to return it with a full tank of gas. Today, we noticed a $[redacted] hold on our bank account, which was expected, but also an additional $[redacted] charge we can't explain. We contacted Expedia, our booking agent. They attempted to reach Thrifty, the rental company, with no success. When we contacted Thrifty directly, they advised us to discuss it at the counter upon returning the car. This solution is inconvenient, as the counter is busy, and we feel this should have been resolved before our trip ends. Your assistance in this matter would be greatly appreciated. On February 22, [redacted], I rented a [redacted] Nissan Versa for a 2-day period and returned it as scheduled on February 24 at SJC airport, where I initially picked it up. I drove around [redacted]-[redacted] miles, carefully tracking my mileage. Unfortunately, upon returning the vehicle, I encountered difficulties at the Thrifty counter - the staff were hard to communicate with, unprofessional, and disorganized. Despite my attempts to follow the checkout procedure, I was scolded by the clerk. After leaving to catch my flight, I later received an invoice for $80.62, which I promptly paid, even though I was confused by the charges since my rental was supposed to be covered by reward miles. Subsequently, I started receiving false invoices from Hertz alleging additional charges amounting to $[redacted].95 for various reasons, including extra miles and repossession fees, which I find to be fraudulent. I have sought assistance from customer service without success and demand a revised invoice with a zero balance. I have gathered evidence to support my claims and am willing to take legal action if necessary. Any guidance on resolving this matter efficiently or connecting with a reliable customer service representative at Thrifty would be greatly appreciated.

I recently noticed a charge of $[redacted].88 from Thrifty on my credit card, despite having already paid the full amount of [redacted].62€ through Check24. The invoice I downloaded lists charges for "Premium Road Service," "Concession Fee," and "Fuel Purchase." I was only informed about the Fuel Option ($58.24), which I now realize was wrongly explained to me since I paid for a full tank even though I only used half. I'm willing to accept this charge, as agreed. However, I did not discuss or agree to any other additional products. Kindly refund the excess amount of $[redacted].64 ([redacted].88 - 58.24) promptly to my account. Thank you.

I had a reservation at Thrifty for 12:00, but upon arrival, they did not have the size car I reserved. They provided me with a different car that smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. When I returned the keys and informed the agent, I was told to wait 30 minutes for another car. During the wait, a flight landed, and a line formed with approximately 20 people. Despite being assured a replacement vehicle, no one called me up while the line grew. I was asked to go to the back of the line when I inquired about my rental status. It appeared that cars were available for people in line, including those without reservations. I feel compelled to share my negative experience with Thrifty and will not be renting from them, Hertz, or Dollar in the future.

Hello, I booked a vehicle at your agency at Amsterdam Airport from March 25, [redacted], to March 27, [redacted]. I do not have the reservation number, but it was made under the name of B. Berot. After returning the vehicle, I was informed that the [redacted] euros deposit I paid on the first day of rental would be refunded directly to my account within about ten days. However, to this day, I have not yet received the refund. Could you please address this issue?

Good morning, my name is Charles Westbrooks. My spouse and I rented a car from your company to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Upon arriving at Orlando Airport, we intended to pick up the vehicle a bit earlier than our scheduled time of 10am, assuming it would not be an issue. Regrettably, we encountered a significant wait in line that lasted for 3 hours with no explanation provided until I reached the cashier. This delay caused us to miss our special anniversary breakfast with my wife's family and inconvenienced those who had made the effort to join us for the occasion. The unexpected and unacceptable delay led us to consider canceling the reservation, but we had no alternative options available at the time. A few months before my trip, I made a reservation with Thrifty for a car in Hawaii during the low tourism season from mid-April to mid-May. Unfortunately, I was charged the high season rate of $[redacted] instead of the actual lower rate of $[redacted] for the month of April. When I picked up the car on April 12, it was dirty and smelled like urine. I had to buy a deodorizer to eliminate the odor. Due to a family emergency involving my father-in-law passing away, I had to return to Canada earlier than planned. Thrifty told me I would be charged $[redacted] for one week at a compassion rate, but I ended up being billed nearly $[redacted] ($[redacted] CAD) for one week in mid-April. Despite filling the tank before returning the car, I was charged for fuel and early return, as well as other unexpected fees totaling $[redacted]. The company's price-gouging tactics during my low-season rental, along with these surprise fees, are concerning. If Thrifty doesn't adjust the charges to the off-season rate and remove these additional fees as promised over the phone, I will be contacting the Minnesota Attorney General's office for assistance.

Yesterday, on May 8, [redacted], I refueled to return the rental car. I put in [redacted] euros for refueling, and when the pump stopped at 53.03 euros, the tank was full. The gas station pump automatically stopped at 52 euros then proceeded to 53.03 euros to top it off. After refueling, I checked the estimated mileage on the car, which indicated around [redacted] km. I was charged an additional 44 euros for supposedly not refueling enough, which I disagree with. I believe the car was properly refueled as the total amount, including the initial amount and what was left in the tank, exceeds the car's fuel capacity of 53 liters. I kindly request a refund of the 44 euros. Thank you.

Upon arriving to collect our rental car yesterday, we encountered a queue of over [redacted] people. Despite advancing in line, we were informed our vehicle would not be available for another 2-3 hours. After a considerable wait, we only progressed from 12th to 27th in line. Despite our reservation, we were warned that a rental might not be possible if we waited until midnight (having arrived at 1:25 pm). We are seeking assistance from a senior figure who can address the delay in our reservation and offer a solution. In the end, we resorted to a last-minute rental at triple the cost of our initial booking. We are in desperate need of resolving this frustrating situation promptly.

Last Friday, 6/16/23, I experienced a frustrating hour and a half wait at Atlanta's Thrifty/Budget Desk. Initially, there were two staff members, later increasing to four by 11:30 and eight by the time I was served at 12:30. The lack of personnel caused significant chaos, though most customers seemed to handle it well. However, I feel compelled to express my dissatisfaction. I urge the company to address these queuing and staffing issues using AI or other means to prevent similar situations in the future. Improvement is crucial as customers should not endure such treatment. Regrettably, I am considering avoiding your services in the future due to this experience.

Prior to traveling from the UK, I had agreed upon a rental cost with Thrifty/Economy Car Rental, which explicitly stated full insurance coverage with no hidden charges at the rental desk. However, upon arriving after an 11-hour flight and a long wait at the Thrifty rental desk, I was informed of additional charges amounting to almost $[redacted] for insurance and taxes. Despite showing the agreement stating full insurance coverage, the customer service representative was uninterested and proceeded to charge me the extra fees. I had a reservation #K[redacted]5F6 for pickup on 7-14-23, planned to coincide with the landing of Alaska Airlines #[redacted] at 12:44am. I was assured when I made the reservation that as long as we arrived by 3:00am, everything would be fine, and someone would be available in the garage to assist. Despite our flight delay, we managed to reach the garage just before 1:00am, only to find Thrifty completely closed. Many others with reservations were also stranded. I am disappointed with Thrifty car rental and hope to avoid any charges for this inconvenience.

I am inquiring about reservation #K[redacted]4F6 at SeaTac airport on July 14 and returning on July 17. During booking, I informed them of my 12:44 AM arrival and was assured I had until 1 AM with staff in the garage. Due to a delayed flight, we arrived just before 1 AM to find Thrifty rental car location closed, leaving us and others stranded. I need to confirm that my credit card was not charged for this unfulfilled reservation.
