After noticing an advertisement in Road & Track magazine, I reached out to your company to order a product. I provided my credit card information but did not receive the product. Upon calling back, I discovered the product was no longer available. I canceled the order due to feeling it was a fraudulent practice. Surprisingly, I found unauthorized charges of $14.95 for Nov, Dec, and Jan labeled as "membership fees" on my Visa account. This was not authorized and feels deceptive. Researching online, I found numerous complaints depicting your company as suspicious for engaging in similar practices with other customers. I am requesting an immediate refund of the $44.95 fraudulently charged to my account. Attempts to reach customer service were unsuccessful, waiting times were lengthy, and new orders were easily processed. I have reported this issue to the Better Business Bureau, plan to share my experience on social media, and have reported your company to my Visa provider. It is disappointing that a supposedly reputable company with a century-old legacy would resort to such deceptive practices.

On approximately June 5th, [redacted], I received my order of Frisco Maduro cigars from Thompson. Although I was initially delighted, the taste and aroma did not match the Maduro wrapper Longsdale cigars I used to purchase twenty years ago. The cigars tasted fruity and resembled the smell of pipe tobacco smoke. I researched Thompson's return policy, used only one cigar, and returned the rest via UPS at my expense. The package was sent via UPS Ground to Thompson Cigar Co at 540L Hangar Ct, Tampa, FL, with tracking number 1ZRF[redacted][redacted]. I am simply checking on the status of my new order to replace the Maduro Frisco cigars with a natural wrapper Frisco. I have always been satisfied with my cigar orders from Thompson, and I acknowledge that this was my mistake from which I will learn.

I recently ordered the Gurkha Pigtail Toro sampler from your company. At the time of purchase, I believed I was getting a deal for 20 cigars at $19.95, which seemed too good to be true. After confirming this with a screenshot I sent to a friend, we both ended up receiving 2 5-count samplers at that price. Unfortunately, I find the quality of these cigars to be subpar and not worth the price. My concern is not the money but the deceptive advertising that feels like a bait and switch tactic. I am contemplating reporting this to the Attorney General's office due to what I perceive as mail fraud. My attempt to address this with your customer service was unhelpful, as I was kept on hold for 30 minutes and the representative struggled with English, providing no assistance. Regardless of my next steps, I will avoid patronizing your company and will inform others in the online cigar community to steer clear of your business practices.
