I have yet to receive my $[redacted] tax refund. I filed my taxes on time using TurboTax and was initially informed it would arrive within the normal timeframe. However, after several phone calls, I was informed it would take nine weeks, then told to wait due to a new security procedure I was randomly selected for. Despite following instructions and continuing to check the refund tracker, my refund has not been issued. Recently, I received a letter requesting additional documents to receive the refund. The process seems unfair considering the delays and contradictory information provided. I urgently need assistance in identifying the required documents and instructions on how to submit them promptly, whether by email or another means. I have remained patient throughout this ordeal and simply want the tax refund I've been assured of receiving.

Subject: Delayed Federal Tax Refund Inquiry
Hello,
I completed the process for my tax refund with my tax preparer several months ago, and unfortunately, I have not yet received my federal refund. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this issue by contacting the IRS, I have received conflicting information regarding the delay. Initially, I was informed that there were missing documents from my workplace, then there were identity verification concerns which were later found to be unsubstantiated by the Problem Resolution Office. I have also confirmed with my workplace that all necessary forms were submitted without any reported issues.
It has been an extended period, and I am still awaiting my hard-earned money. The responses from the IRS staff have been frustrating and unhelpful, leading to further confusion. This situation is causing distress, especially as I am handling everything independently after the passing of my parents.
I filed my taxes at Liberty Tax Service located at [redacted] Warren Street, Dorchester, MA [redacted], with tax preparer Chanel Williams. Despite attempting to follow up on my federal refund status, I have encountered difficulties in obtaining clear information about the whereabouts of my check. I would appreciate any assistance in expediting the resolution of this matter.
Thank you,
Joel Fauben

Subject: Assistance Needed with Federal Tax Refund

Hello,
I completed my tax return several months ago and have yet to receive my federal refund. Despite multiple inquiries, there seems to be confusion surrounding the status of my refund. Initially, I was told there were issues with paperwork from my employer, then concerns about identity verification. After reaching out to the problem resolution office, I was directed back to my tax preparer. I have confirmed with my employer that all necessary forms were submitted.
This situation has been ongoing for an extended period, causing financial strain. I am frustrated with the lack of clarity from IRS representatives. My tax preparer, Chanel Williams at Liberty Tax Service, has been unable to provide concrete information regarding my refund status.
As I navigate this challenging time, assistance in expediting the processing of my federal refund would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Joel F.

Subject: Urgent Assistance Needed with Federal Tax Refund Issue
To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to express my frustration regarding the delay in receiving my federal tax refund. Despite completing the necessary steps with my tax preparer at Liberty Tax Service on Warren Street in Dorchester, I have yet to receive my refund. Various explanations have been provided by IRS representatives, including missing paperwork from my employer and identity verification issues, none of which seem to be the actual cause of the delay.
I have diligently followed up with both my employer and tax preparer, Chanel Williams, but have not made any progress. This delay is causing me significant financial strain, especially given the recent passing of my parents. I implore you to swiftly resolve this matter and release the funds owed to me.
Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
J.F.

I submitted my taxes using Prepare & Prosper on 03/06/[redacted]. They electronically filed my state and federal taxes, but my property tax couldn't be filed electronically since it wasn't listed as homestead. They provided me with an addressed envelope to send in the necessary documents. After mailing them in August, I realized there is no information about my $[redacted] property tax refund on the “Where's My Refund” tool. When I call, it says there is no information available. Originally, I thought it would be deposited into my Guaranty Bank account, which is now First Citizens Bank. Despite having the same account number, there is a different routing number now. The bank, however, still accepts checks with the old routing number. I simply want to understand what happened to my refund and kindly request it to be processed. Thank you.

Hello,
I need advice on how to report foreign bank accounts and mutual fund accounts on my [redacted] tax return. I have completed Form [redacted] (FBAR) for my foreign bank accounts; should I also include my mutual fund accounts on this form? Should I list the foreign bank and the interest of foreign bank accounts on Schedule B Part I of Form [redacted]? Do I report the interest from foreign bank accounts on Form [redacted] line 8a? If I transferred money from my US bank account to a foreign bank account, would I be considered a transferor to a foreign trust? Do I need to file Form [redacted] and Form [redacted]? If the foreign country has already taxed the interest gained from my foreign bank accounts, do I still need to pay tax on that interest in the US, and how do I report it? Thank you for your help.

I am concerned about potential fraud related to my grandfather, Ordean Edgar Egland. There are suspicions of foul play surrounding his estate and his connections to Howard Hughes. Family members seem to be involved, including my uncle, Frank Harvey Knudson. The involvement of Noah Dietrich and Beverly D. Rude-Maile has raised more red flags, with properties in California and Illinois coming into question. I believe I was deceived into a false identity linked to Hughes, and important documents have gone missing. Despite the intricate details I've uncovered, I struggle to get authorities to take me seriously. The mention of a model jet connected to military electronics further complicates the situation. The tangled web of aliases and deceit is overwhelming, and I feel helpless in proving the truth without solid evidence.

Hello, my name is Eli B. I am reaching out to inquire about the remaining balance on my [redacted] and [redacted] income taxes. Upon reviewing my records, I noticed a discrepancy with the last payment I made of $[redacted] on September 14. Initially, I believed this payment exceeded the required amount by nearly $50 based on my calculations from tax season, where I had an estimated $[redacted] balance.
Recently, I received a bill totaling $[redacted]. I am seeking clarification on:
A. What is the actual remaining balance on my account?
B. Will the $50 overpayment from last month be applied to the current bill?
I would appreciate it if someone from your office could provide me with this information at your earliest convenience.
Thank you,
Eli B.

I recently received a letter regarding the seizure of my assets and social security by the IRS. In [redacted], I re-filed forms for the years 2[redacted] as requested at the Bellevue WA office, but never received any response. I am interested in settling with an Offer in Compromise or through installments, but I have not been able to reach a resolution. The amounts the IRS is requesting seem unclear as they appear to have been recalculated without explanation. I have spoken with Ms. Holtman, who requested faxed proof of my in-person filing and all documents submitted to the Bellevue office. She advised me to contact liens or collections to ensure they are aware I am addressing this issue promptly. Despite my attempts over the past two days, I have not been successful in reaching them. I would appreciate a prompt response or assistance in this matter. Thank you.

Address: [redacted] University Terrace Drive Apt H, Charlotte, NC [redacted]
I submitted my [redacted] tax return on March 28 and have not yet received my federal tax refund. The issue is that I accidentally filed a duplicate return. Initially, an IRS representative mentioned I would receive it by August 9, but that did not happen. Subsequently, I contacted them again on August 13, and they assured me a call back within a month, which did not occur. After following up another month later, they said I would be contacted within 5 business days (this was 3 weeks ago), but I have not received any calls. Every time I reach out, the call disconnects after 30 minutes. I'm uncertain what to do next.

After submitting my taxes on Saturday, October 13, [redacted], my tax preparer did not receive the complete ID number to e-file. She contacted the IRS to address the issue but was informed that I needed to call to obtain the ID number, which would be sent by mail. Unfortunately, the timeline would lead to a late filing if I received it after October 15, [redacted]. Despite numerous attempts to call, I have been unable to reach them, facing only a busy signal. I urgently require the full ID number transcript to ensure I file on time today, October 15, [redacted]. Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

In October [redacted], my husband legally adopted my son through step-parent adoption. His birth certificate was updated at that time for tax purposes, although his name on his social security card was not updated. Following my lawyer's advice, we used his new legal name on our taxes resulting in receiving our tax refund promptly. However, my son's tax credit was declined due to his name mismatch. After updating his name on the social security card, I contacted a representative in the Spring who informed me to rectify this issue. Now that his social security card reflects the correct name, I seek guidance on how to obtain the refund for his share of the return. I was advised that filing an amendment was unnecessary, and the existing information likely requires a review. I can be reached at [redacted] or via email at [redacted].

I have not filed our [redacted] tax return using Form 1040A. Just before e-filing, I found a potential mistake related to the IRA contribution deduction calculations that requires additional time. This error may have occurred in previous years as well. While this error may impact the refund amount, it should not lead to owing more taxes for [redacted]. Should I go ahead and submit the return with this potential error, then file amended returns for [redacted] and any other affected years if the error is confirmed?

I recently applied for an EIN for a revocable trust in the name of Margenne Drain, who has since passed away. I have a couple of concerns about how to proceed. Firstly, since Margenne has passed, does the trust now become irrevocable? I initially marked it as a revocable trust on the application. Additionally, the new trustee is Robert Dale Drain, but the trust document still lists Margenne since it was drafted before her passing. I received the assigned EIN number, but along with it came a notification to file a form [redacted] by today, and to ensure all tax returns are submitted by 11/03/[redacted]. Margenne was diligent in filing all tax forms as required. I understand there are now two entities to consider: Margenne, who needs to report income until her date of death (8/12/18), and the now-irrevocable trust (estate) reporting income after her passing. There seems to be a complication in the process, and I am uncertain how to address it. Thank you for any guidance.

Dear Customer Service,
I am in need of assistance. I reside in Germany, and the father of my son, who lives in California, seems to be claiming our son on his taxes without providing child support. Christopher L. Mayes, born on August 28, [redacted], with Social Security number [redacted]-51-[redacted], is the father of our son, Jayden Nesta Cramer, born on March 14, [redacted], with dependent's Social Security number [redacted]-98-[redacted]. Despite not being married to Christopher, he has allegedly been receiving tax refunds annually without considering his responsibilities toward Jayden Nesta Cramer. If I am mistaken, I apologize for the confusion. However, I believe it's important to address this issue.
Thank you for your help.

I need to include last year's tax liability in my current payment plan. I anticipate a substantial refund for [redacted], which will help reduce the outstanding amount. I am unsure if it will cover everything, but I am committed to making payments regardless. In [redacted], our family's total income decreased to around $40,[redacted] due to various challenges. Since losing my job in January and experiencing health issues that led to a prolonged hospitalization, my financial situation has been difficult. I have recently returned to work at a new job with a lower income and have adjusted my tax exemptions to avoid future tax liabilities. Any assistance in adjusting my payment plan would be greatly appreciated, as it would alleviate financial stress on me and my family.

I encountered rejection of my tax returns while using TurboTax for online filing. Despite submitting a second amended return, it was also rejected. Upon investigation, I discovered the problem stemmed from not formally submitting tax returns for [redacted]. While I had started them on paper, I ultimately abandoned the process due to minimal earnings. Consequently, when TurboTax requested my AGI for [redacted], I inaccurately provided a non-zero amount. I now seek verification that my AGI for [redacted] is indeed 0.
Additionally, preparing to mail my tax forms printed through TurboTax, I noticed a page titled "Electronic Postmark-Certification of Electronic Filing." This page reflects my initial submission on October 11th, which was a subsequent attempt. I am uncertain if I ought to include this document with my returns. If necessary, can I update the submission date, or does the IRS already possess the original submission details, making this step unnecessary?
Lastly, I am curious about the impact of two rejections and a submission close to October's end on my refund acceptance timeline.

I e-filed my tax return through TurboTax but it got rejected in October. I quickly resubmitted an amended return with what I believed was my correct AGI from [redacted]. After another rejection, I realized I may have provided the wrong AGI. Now that I've corrected it, TurboTax is instructing me to mail in my returns. I'm unsure where the AGI from [redacted] goes on the 1040A form when filing by mail. Also, if I didn't earn any money in [redacted], what should I use as my AGI for that year? Lastly, if I didn't file taxes in [redacted], should I use the AGI from the most recent year before [redacted]?
