I received a phone call claiming that a girl named Jessica, who is my brother's girlfriend, used my personal information without my permission. The information provided is inaccurate since I have never lived with her, received any help, or financial assistance from her. I am unsure if this is true, but I believe it could be identity theft. I want to take legal action if Jessica Ball is indeed behind this. She resided at [redacted] Buffington St., Huntington, WV [redacted]. Please advise on the necessary steps I should take. Contact me at [redacted] or [redacted] regarding this issue. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.

I recently trusted someone who claimed me as a dependent without my knowledge, resulting in them receiving my stimulus funds. This person, Davina Ortega, used a Green Dot card linked to their phone number and Gmail account, not mine. To ensure my funds are secure now, I've switched to a Netspend card. Could you please assist me in receiving my past two years' stimulus payments to this new account? Feel free to contact me at ([redacted]) and ask for Shynessa Garton for further details, including my account and routing numbers. I have all necessary documentation like my birth certificate and social security card available. Sincerely, Shynessa Garton

It is frustrating that despite our efforts to resolve tax issues with the IRS and even seeking help from the advocate, there seems to be no progress. It feels like our federal rights are being violated, and the lack of action from Congress adds to the concern. This is not just about COVID-19; it's about the system failing to address the concerns of American taxpayers. Despite mailing my taxes six months ago and not seeing any updates in the IRS system, tomorrow, I plan to send another two copies to ensure they are received. It's disheartening that there is no communication or resolution in sight. In this situation, it almost seems like filing as exempt may be the only solution to potentially expedite the process.

Hello, I contacted the IRS back in May of last year regarding my missing stimulus payments. Despite not owing the IRS anything, I am puzzled about the whereabouts of my stimulus funds. Recently, on August 1st, [redacted], I received a letter from the IRS indicating that I, Joseph Danielson, requested my tax refund to be deposited into a Sutton Bank account in Attica, Ohio, totaling $[redacted]. The letter provided the account number and name on the account. Strangely, I have never been to Attica, Ohio, nor do I own that bank account. I usually use my Cash App for transactions, so this situation has left me confused. Can someone assist me in resolving this issue? My contact number is [redacted], and my name is Joseph Edward Danielsen.

In [redacted], when filing my taxes, we discussed my situation regarding my stimulus checks and how child support had intercepted the first one in [redacted]. Upon my release from prison, I had not been employed, so I utilized the non-filer option to qualify for the stimulus payment. Although it was taken for child support, I did get a confirmation via mail. I then proceeded to fill out a form at H&R Block for the missing stimulus, which I never received by check or card. Despite the ten-week waiting period, no resolution was reached by the end of tax season. I believe that during the [redacted] pandemic, individuals should have been allowed to retain at least a portion of their tax refunds considering the financial hardships many faced. As of August 8, [redacted], I am yet to receive my second or third stimulus payments. Despite revisiting H&R Block this year, the status of my missing stimulus remains unresolved. I am hopeful to receive the aid I am entitled to, just like any other taxpayer. Thank you for your attention to this matter. - E. Sheridan

On June 1, [redacted], I made a payment of $[redacted].00 to settle my [redacted] income tax balance. Despite confirming with both my bank and the IRS payment verification, the IRS website does not reflect this payment under my [redacted] balance owed. Consequently, I have incurred late fees as the system still shows an outstanding balance. I initially arranged a payment plan which is still active even though I cleared the total amount owed. The IRS is continuing to deduct payments from my bank account despite my full payment not being credited. Unfortunately, I am unable to halt the automatic payments for the existing plan.

I am still awaiting an update on my tax return that I submitted via FedEx over a month ago in March ****. I received confirmation of the delivery. However, the amount I received in my bank account for the direct deposit today was less than expected. I believe I may have missed out on including several important tax deductions which could increase my refund. I would like assistance in correcting this and ensuring I receive my full refund. Thank you.

I filed my taxes on February 1, [redacted], and it's now August 29th, [redacted]. More than 21 days have passed since then. I received a letter from a company named ID Me, instructing me to verify my identity on their website to receive my IRS refund. After completing the verification, I was told I was confirmed. However, my refund has not arrived. I called the IRS multiple times, enduring long wait times on hold without success until finally speaking to someone. They informed me I needed to complete the verification process with them too. Despite correctly answering many personal questions, I was unable to verify my identity due to questions about tax returns from over a decade ago. After following a tip to reach an IRS agent, my inquiry about the refund led to being transferred to an automated message due to high call volumes. Feeling frustrated and unsure of the next steps, I seek assistance to resolve this matter promptly. Thank you for any help.

I urgently require a copy of my electronically filed [redacted] tax return. My tax preparer is unavailable, and I encountered issues obtaining it through the automated assistance line. The address on file for me is incorrect - it should be "17 Polk Street, Freeport, NY 11[redacted]" instead of "[redacted] Polk Street." I've consistently provided correct address details to my preparer, who has overlooked this error. Due to a temporary mail delivery issue, receiving mail is problematic, and privacy concerns have arisen. My contact number is [redacted] if further information is needed. Your prompt assistance in resolving this matter before my October 1, [redacted] property tax deadline is greatly appreciated.

I require a copy of my e-filed personal income tax return for [redacted]. My tax preparer has repeatedly e-filed with the incorrect address, stating [redacted] Polk Street instead of the correct address at 17 Polk Street, Freeport, NY [redacted]. This is urgent as I must submit paperwork to my local property tax offices by October 1, [redacted]. Please send the document to my correct address as soon as possible. I may be reached at [redacted] if you need more details. While I prefer phone communication due to limited computer skills, you may also contact me via email at [redacted] Your prompt assistance with this matter is highly appreciated. Thank you.

I have been waiting for my tax refund for two years now. I understand the impact of Covid, but last week when I called the IRS, a lady informed me that my mailed-in forms were incorrect, causing the delay. I initially used IRS Free File but it was rejected for e-filing, so I sent it by mail on July 15, [redacted]. The lady advised me to refile through email, fax, or e-file. I attempted e-filing again last night, only to be rejected due to an existing accepted refund request. I urgently need this money as I am facing potential eviction, and my landlord is also waiting on me.

I submitted an amended return in March, but I'm feeling frustrated with the IRS's processing timeline. I contacted them twice, and initially was informed it would take 20 weeks instead of the expected 16 weeks. After waiting the extra time, I called again only to find out that they hadn't even processed my paperwork and it could take an additional 30 days. Tomorrow marks the end of that 30-day period, and I have not seen any progress. I need to speak to someone who can provide me with accurate information. Unfortunately, my recent attempt to call on Wednesday ended in being disconnected while on hold.

My refund was electronically filed on April 4, [redacted]. When I checked the IRS refund page on April 9, it confirmed they received my return. However, the refund status message constantly states, "Your tax return is still being processed. A refund date will be provided when available." This delay is unusual for me, as previous refunds were quicker. Despite my patience, I'm perplexed by the extended processing time, especially since this year's return mirrors last year's electronic filing. In [redacted], I received a federal refund in under a month. I've refrained from calling due to long wait times and hang-ups. My accountant is unable to gather more information than I can access myself. I am contemplating whether I should persist in waiting or if contacting the IRS might yield more answers. Maybe Gethuman has an alternative way to obtain additional information. Thank you!

In March, we submitted our [redacted] income taxes online but later realized we had missed claiming our IRA deduction. We filed an amended return promptly, reducing the amount we owed. The IRS debited our payment from the initial return in April. Now, in September, we are still awaiting our refund. The IRS sent us two letters - one in June acknowledging the refund process and another in July stating the matter was resolved without further contact. Despite my wife's daily attempts to reach them over the past month, the calls have either been abruptly ended due to high call volumes or by disconnection while speaking with a representative.

I used Tax Slayer to file my [redacted] taxes. I submitted my refund in February, but I kept getting an error code via email stating the IRS didn't accept my past year PIN or the amount. Despite multiple corrections, the error persisted. Due to being deployed to work at the southwest border for 75 days in May, my ability to address the issue was limited. Upon returning in July, I was informed by a Tax Slayer representative that I had exceeded the limit for electronic submissions and needed to send signed copies via mail. Mailing the forms on July 31st, they were received by the IRS office in Austin, Texas on August 1st. I am seeking an update on the status of my refund. Thank you.

1. I requested an extension, and when I filed my return on 10/15, it got rejected multiple times due to a discrepancy with my [redacted] AGI. Even though I corrected it using the AGI from my [redacted] tax return, which matches the IRS transcript, it kept getting rejected. 2. I'm hesitant to mail it because of how long it might take to process, delaying my refund significantly. 3. I misplaced a [redacted]-MISC from the Commonwealth of PA and have been unsuccessful in obtaining it despite numerous attempts. Waiting for a return email has been futile. I only have part of the FIN/EIN #, which ends in [redacted], and had to use an online find for the remaining digits. 4. I managed to file on time, but the constant rejections are causing frustration. Thank you, Amy B.

I am inquiring about the delay in receiving a letter from the IRS regarding my tax refund. It was supposed to be mailed on September 12th, but I have yet to receive it. I spoke to a representative who mentioned it was sent on September 26th, but I still haven't gotten it after almost 5 weeks. I am concerned about owing $[redacted].59 but have not been informed of the reason. I would appreciate it if the IRS could send the letter to my email instead. My email address is [redacted] Thank you.

I am concerned about the delay in receiving important IRS correspondence regarding my tax refund. The letter, sent on September **th, has not been delivered to me, causing me to worry. I am unsure why my refund is being held up and would appreciate it if the IRS could email me a copy of the letter for my records. I was informed that the notification letter was mailed on September **, not September **th, and I have yet to receive it after nearly * weeks. Additionally, I was surprised to learn that I supposedly owe $***.** with no explanation. I urgently need to resolve this matter and understand the situation better.

Hello, my name is Mary Brown. I recently completed my simplified tax return to receive my third stimulus check, but it was rejected. I submitted my [redacted] tax return through free1040taxreturn.com, which I also used in [redacted] without any problems. The filed return shows that I am owed a $[redacted] refund from the IRS. However, I have not received any communication regarding this refund. I have since returned to Germany. I would appreciate any assistance in tracing my tax refund and determining how I can claim the unreceived amount. Thank you, Ana B.
