I e-filed my taxes through H&R Block, but they were rejected due to using my wife's ITIN number. I then mailed a physical copy through USPS, which was confirmed delivered, but I haven't heard back from the IRS. Checking the IRS website shows no updates or notifications about my return status, and the deadline has passed. I am unsure if there is an issue that needs attention. Please reach me at [redacted] or leave a secure message on my IRS account.

I have encountered challenges reaching the IRS to address a tax filing issue for my [redacted] taxes. The IRS indicated that my daughter, C. Schueler, had already been claimed on someone else's taxes. However, neither my ex nor I have claimed her yet for [redacted]. My attempt to claim her was rejected due to this situation. I am seeking clarification on how this could occur and requesting prompt resolution to avoid penalties on my taxes due to the error on the IRS's part. The IRS message mentioned that I need to specify the necessary steps to fix this issue. I urge the IRS to identify the individual who made the illegal claim on my daughter, rectify the error, and process my tax return promptly. I can be reached at [redacted] to address this matter efficiently. Appreciating your assistance and looking forward to resolving this matter soon. Regards, S. Schueler.

I'm eagerly waiting for my [redacted] tax return/refund from the IRS. It has been 12 weeks since I visited the IRS office to verify my identity and was informed that my refund would arrive within 9 to 12 weeks. Given the challenges of contacting the IRS, especially with my responsibilities towards my Autistic 6-year-old son and energetic 2-year-old daughter, it's been difficult to follow up consistently. Despite my efforts, including getting very close to connecting on a call back only to be disconnected, the financial strain as a 26-year-old single mom is overwhelming. The delayed refund has been a significant hardship, and the lack of assistance and information from the IRS has added to the frustration of not being able to provide for my children as needed.

I sent my [redacted] tax documents on February 14, [redacted], for the [redacted] tax year. I paid extra for certified mail with a return receipt. I received the receipt card on February 22, [redacted], showing the IRS-Austin received it. Despite mailing it to the correct location in Texas due to living in Florida, I have not received any updates as of June 6, [redacted].
I had to mail it because there was no option to provide my banking information for direct deposit. I rely on Social Security, and filing electronically without this option is challenging. My SS payments go directly to my bank account.
Since I am a widow and file taxes as single, it is essential to get my refund quickly as I am on a tight budget. I have been checking frequently for updates but have not found any information. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you for your help,
Sandra K. V.

I am seeking information regarding my [redacted] taxes. I recently received a letter indicating that my return is not visible from your end, although you were able to deduct around $[redacted] from it. This delay is affecting my living situation, and my family is at risk of becoming homeless next month. Despite verifying my identity twice, there is a need for continuous account monitoring even though I do not have any outstanding debts. I am the taxpayer, yet I have not received any updates. Each time the expected date approaches, a new notification is sent, extending the time frame by another 60 days. Originally due on February 18, [redacted], the delay is causing significant frustration. I urge for clarification on the reasons behind the prolonged wait for our tax refund.

I am the successor trustee of my uncle's estate. He passed away and there is a SEP IRA held within the trust, with 16 nephews and nieces named as beneficiaries. Nine of them reside in the United States, and seven live in the Netherlands. I have already transferred the SEP IRA to the trust bank account and intend to distribute the funds to the heirs. I am seeking guidance on the proper procedure to follow in order to comply with both IRS and FTB regulations in California.

It has been 16 weeks, and I am troubled that my refund has not shown any progress. I am facing significant financial difficulties and urgently require the refund.
I filed on 2/9 and accidentally claimed the 3rd stimulus of $[redacted], which I did not technically receive as my parents claimed me as a dependent that year. I submitted a 1040x on 2/19, which has been accepted, but there has been no movement on the IRS site. A week after filing the 1040X, I received a letter from the IRS stating they have a record of me receiving $[redacted] and will adjust it from my return. Since then, there have been no updates.

During an interview with Social Security in May to discuss my benefits, the agent mentioned that there was a discrepancy for the years 1[redacted] where I was listed as having 0 pay. My former employer confirmed they have records of my salary and FICA payments for those years. Despite trying various methods to obtain the records, as they are not computerized prior to [redacted], I have not been successful. I am still working on finding a solution with my past employer.

I have a payment plan for [redacted] that should be paid off by now. The IRS deducts $[redacted] per month, and I have been making $[redacted] monthly payments. I am looking to set up a payment plan for [redacted], but I received a letter asking for my [redacted] taxes to be paid in full. I have adjusted my withholding for this year and want to ensure my payment plan is active. I have been trying to reach out since February but have had no luck getting through. Whenever I call, it tells me to try again later. I have also attempted to create an account with ID.me but keep getting disconnected. I urgently need to speak with a representative about this issue. I've even tried to schedule an in-person appointment without success, as there is no local office in Nevada. Please assist me in contacting someone before the end of the month.

I sent my [redacted] recovery rebate [redacted] tax return on April 13, [redacted]. When I check online using both My Account and the IRS2GO app, it says the information I provided doesn't match. I filed as Single and am expecting a $1,[redacted] refund for the first EIP payment, which I enter along with my social security number. Unfortunately, when calling the [redacted] line, I cannot connect with a live person to address why they are indicating a discrepancy in my information. How can I speak with a human to assist me with this issue?

Hello,
I am new to caregiving and have some questions about tax obligations for both employers and employees in different work scenarios.
1) If I work full-time as a caregiver without prior experience or training and receive compensation in the form of room, board, utilities, Internet service, and a salary, what taxes would need to be paid by my employer and me (e.g., [redacted], W-2)?
2) If I perform caregiver duties and receive compensation in the form of room, board, utilities, and Internet service without a salary or with a minimal one, what taxes are required to be paid by my employer and me (e.g., [redacted], W-2)?
3) If someone performs caregiver duties and is compensated with a salary only, what taxes are the employer and the employee required to pay (e.g., [redacted], W-2)?
4) Do job contracts or any formal documentation need to be provided by the employer and/or employee for any of the above scenarios?
Thank you.
Sincerely,
Lemi

I am writing on behalf of SUMTER GRAND CHRISTMAS GIFT, a nonprofit organization that gathers donations from residents to give to Associates in December annually. Our tax ID is 82-[redacted], and we have fulfilled all tax obligations. This year, our associate group is growing, prompting us to propose changing our name to SUMTER SENIOR LIVING CHRISTMAS GIFT. Although our mission remains unchanged, the current name limits our scope to Independent Living only. With the new name, we aim to cover Assisted Living and Memory Care as well. I will continue in my role as president and treasurer. For any inquiries, you may reach me at [redacted]. Thank you for your assistance.

I inadvertently sent a check from my old -51 checking account, which I had used since [redacted] when I began teaching elementary school. I hadn't utilized those checks much, maybe just a couple of times. As an assistant teacher now, I tore out a few checks (marked as void) to set up direct deposits for my part-time work. Recently, I realized I had switched from the -51 to -50 checking account due to fraud a year or two ago, but I hadn't ordered new checks for this account because I rarely use them. With a hectic schedule and tax deadlines to meet, I mistakenly used the old checks. I promptly obtained a cashier's check from my bank, as advised, with a 5% penalty for the delay. I provided a detailed note along with the cashier's check, having possibly included my SS# on it or on a separate note. For clarification, please reach out to Jennifer J. Greene at [redacted].

I am still waiting on my money from my amended tax return. I have recently experienced homelessness with my two daughters because I didn't receive the money I was depending on for housing. My children are staying with friends while I am struggling to find stable accommodation, alternating between staying in a truck and hotels when I can afford it. Despite my current situation, I have always prioritized taking care of my children since becoming a mother at a young age. I try to do good and help others whenever I can, even when I have limited resources. However, I am now in need of assistance as I am unable to secure a new home due to a lack of available options in light of recent events. I understand the challenges the IRS is facing, but I hope that the issues can be addressed promptly, starting with effective leadership in Washington.

My spouse and I file taxes jointly. I had my taxes done at an accountant's office, and they were filed electronically. I waited for about six weeks for the bill to show up online but found nothing in both mine and my husband's IRS accounts. I ended up paying what we owed under my tax account on April 15, [redacted]. We recently received a bill from the IRS stating we were late on the payment and charged interest and a late fee. I've been trying to call the IRS since receiving the letter, but I can't get through as they have a high call volume. They keep asking me to call back later. I need them to transfer the payment from my social security number to my husband's to settle this bill.

I inadvertently sent my [redacted] tax forms to the wrong address in Houston, TX. After realizing the error, I promptly resent them to the Kansas City MI IRS center on March 29, [redacted], using FedEx Overnight. I have proof of delivery to both IRS centers and confirmation that the tax documents were received. I included a header letter explaining the mistake of the initial submission to Houston.
I am anticipating a $[redacted].00 refund to be deposited into my checking account and the remaining $[redacted].00 to be applied to my [redacted] taxes. Despite submitting the forms, I have not received any updates from the IRS or the "Where's My Refund" tool. I am unsure of whom to contact or how to follow up on the processing of my forms.

I mailed my paper tax return in February, as usual. I have yet to receive any confirmation that the IRS has received my [redacted] form. My Social Security number is [redacted]23, and my wife and I filed a joint return, expecting a $[redacted].00 refund. When I check online, I keep getting an error message prompting me to re-enter my information. Despite double-checking, the system doesn't recognize my details. I'm unsure of what steps to take next.

I am facing difficulty logging into my IRS account due to multiple failed attempts. I received a code via mail to finalize the process, but it also failed. My main concern is not receiving any direct communication from the IRS regarding any outstanding payments I might have. I utilized the Loyola Tax Clinic to settle my taxes, but I misplaced the documentation they provided. Though I believe I am up to date with my payments, I need confirmation from the IRS. Additionally, I require assistance in answering the security questions correctly to resolve this recurring issue.
