I have attempted to make a payment to settle my outstanding balance three times. However, I received a notification that the transactions were unsuccessful due to inaccurate bank information. I have since corrected the details and resubmitted the payment twice. Additionally, I have made a payment from a different account. I am uncertain about the status of these payments as there is no confirmation provided. I am eager to ensure that the payment goes through promptly to avoid any penalties for late payment. The lack of information on your website has made it challenging to ascertain the acceptance of my payments. I am willing to meet my obligation, but the process has been frustrating. Your assistance in clarifying this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - William L.

I was expecting my refund on February 9th, [redacted] for my [redacted] taxes, processed by TurboTax. Unfortunately, TurboTax deducted their fees directly from my refund, which ended up in a third-party account with Civista Bank, not my own. Despite Civista Bank stating they sent a check to my old address, I have not received it. They promised to send another check but have not followed through. I requested a different form of payment or delivery to my new address, but they claim it's not possible. This situation has caused me a lot of frustration as I have not received my refund yet. If this is not resolved soon, I don't know what steps to take next. I have even postponed filing my taxes for this year until this issue is sorted out.

I recently received confirmation that my tax return for this year has been accepted by you, and I was informed it will take an additional nine weeks. I am concerned about not receiving my stimulus checks despite having mailed my tax return for the 2[redacted] season in November. Due to delays in obtaining my driver's license and Social Security card after losing everything in a fire last year, I am struggling financially and in need of this assistance. It is frustrating that it is taking so long for my tax return to be processed, and I am desperate to know if I should send another copy for the [redacted] tax year. The situation has left me homeless and without resources, making it difficult to secure housing and support. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly, as the delays are causing significant distress.

1. I am still awaiting an update on my [redacted] tax return that was faxed over a month ago (March 4, [redacted]). I used FedEx for the transmission and received confirmation. Can you please provide me with the status of my [redacted] IRS tax return and refund? 2. I submitted my [redacted] tax return early last month (March [redacted]) and was notified that it was accepted. However, the direct deposit I received today was less than the expected amount. I would like to receive the full refund that I am owed. 3. I suspect that I missed several important tax deductions on my [redacted] return. How can I include these missing details to potentially increase my tax refund? I would like to correct these areas or redo my [redacted] tax return to ensure all applicable deductions are considered. Thank you.

Hello! This is Dr. Joey David Wynes from Jackson County's Mental Health. My Oregon state ID# [redacted] has not yet received one stimulus check as of 04/07/[redacted]. I am concerned about Mr. OB One Knobie Bloom's handling of my case. He has not been a good adult professional caretaker. I had a strange incident involving a plunger last night, and Mr. Bloom's behavior has been questionable. Please contact me at [redacted]. Thank you.

Hello, My name is Buell Singleton, and I recently returned home from a lengthy hospital stay. Recognizing the need for assistance with my taxes, I contacted TurboTax, a service I have used before. The first representative advised me to file an extension, and the second mentioned they couldn't assist me until April 18, [redacted], due to the extension. I'm now seeking a live conversation with a TurboTax representative to understand the necessary payment to maintain good standing with the IRS until I can finalize my paperwork with another representative. I anticipate your prompt response and appreciate your support. Thank you, Buell Singleton.

My spouse and I had applied for a tax credit regarding college tuition in [redacted] that we mistakenly received. The tuition payment was made on December 29, [redacted], not in the eligible year. The IRS is requesting the $[redacted] credit back. I am seeking information about potential hardship relief based on an honest technical mistake. If relief is unavailable, I am interested in exploring payment plan possibilities and assistance for setting one up.

I recently accessed the IRS website and discovered that my [redacted] tax return has not been filed. I had filed for an extension, which was processed on time, and I have proof that I paid the tax due when I requested the extension. On 14 Oct, I mailed my paperwork using the IRS-provided envelope and label to the Fresno office, as indicated on the USPS receipt. Upon researching, I learned that the Fresno office had stopped processing paper returns two weeks prior. I am unsure if my paperwork was redirected to another office or returned to me. What steps should I take to ensure my return is filed correctly? Given that I used the IRS envelope and label on time, I believe any penalty should be waived. Thank you.

For the [redacted] taxes owed, my tax account was offset. In [redacted], my mom started a business, and I arranged the Square card reader in my name since she had a PO Box. The IRS sent a notice in [redacted] for [redacted] underpayment, which was from her business' Square transfers. I updated the tax information on Square and sent the paperwork to the IRS. Despite several attempts in [redacted] and [redacted], the issue persisted. The IRS confirmed the backlog would cause continued problems until [redacted] information was processed. Recent calls have not resolved the balance showing on my IRS account, impacting my refund. I seek assistance to disconnect the debt from my SSN and reverse the offset.

I recently received my [redacted] from Florida unemployment on April 15, [redacted]. This delay is frustrating, especially considering a similar issue last year where I received the [redacted] almost a month past the deadline. Communication with Florida has been a challenge; calls and emails went unanswered during this time. Additionally, I had a personal loan with insurance for potential unemployment or injury, which I paid off early. However, upon paying off the loan, I was surprised to receive a [redacted] from the insurance company, covering the full loan period, not just when I utilized the insurance. This has left me puzzled about the tax implications. With the recent hacking of Florida unemployment computers and concerns about personal information security, I feel uneasy about potential identity theft and the long-term implications. Overall, navigating income taxes has been confusing, and I hope for clearer guidance in the future.

I am a 72-year-old individual who visited the IRS website to get assistance with filing my [redacted] taxes for free. The site directed me to a page that listed income tax providers such as Turbo Tax, TaxSlayer, H&R Block, among others. They provided information to help me choose a service. I selected TaxSlayer because they advertised free filing for seniors. However, during the process, my account was automatically upgraded to a senior level that I couldn't deselect, resulting in an additional charge of around $50 for filing. Furthermore, upon receiving my refund, another company named TPG Products SBTPG LLC deducted over $50 from it. I believe that if the IRS states it's free, it should truly be free. These companies should not falsely advertise free filing only to add charges later on, similar to the practices of United Airlines.

Hello, After my mother passed away, I discovered several U.S. Savings Bonds in my possession that had been sitting in a bank lockbox for some time. Recently, I found out that some of these EE bonds have surpassed the 30-year mark for accruing interest. I researched online and found out that although interest stops after 30 years, taxes must still be paid on them. Mine reached the 30-year mark in [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted]. I am unsure whether I need to include them in my current year's tax return or if I should file an amended return for those past years using a 1040X form. Unfortunately, the IRS office in Honolulu is currently not accessible for in-person visits or calls, so I am seeking guidance on how to proceed with addressing the taxes on these bonds.

I needed to verify my identity on Id.me for the IRS due to it being my first time filing and the amount being larger. After verification, the website asked if I was the one who filed taxes with my name and social, mistakenly clicked "no" because my phone screen was broken. Id.me then flagged suspicions of fraud. I've emailed their help center twice to rectify the error, but received the same response, directing me to contact the IRS. I have all the necessary documents to proceed but have been unsuccessful in scheduling an appointment with the IRS due to high call volumes. Every time I call, I receive an automated message stating they are experiencing high call volumes and to try again later. What should I do?

I requested a refund via direct deposit to my partner's NetSpend account, where I am a secondary cardholder. Unfortunately, I made numerous small withdrawals upon receiving the funds, causing the account to become locked. Despite providing all necessary identification and verification, NetSpend required current proof of address for my partner, which we were unable to provide as the address no longer belongs to her. Consequently, we had to close the account, and the remaining refund was returned to the IRS. I am reaching out to request a paper check for the remaining balance be issued to me at my address. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I submitted my taxes on March 29, [redacted]. The IRS website shows that my federal refund has been accepted, but I have not received it yet. TurboTax sent me an email mentioning an error, but when I check my TurboTax account, everything seems fine. The message in TurboTax states that both federal and state refunds are approved. I tried using the IRS.GOV "Where's My Refund" tool, but it couldn't locate my refund either. I'm unsure what steps to take next. Can someone provide guidance on this issue? Thank you.

I need assistance with my tax refund which I e-filed on January 29th but have not yet received. The IRS asked me to verify my identity through ID.me before filing, which I completed. However, I've been unable to reach a helpful person. Every call ends abruptly after being transferred multiple times. I verified my identity successfully with ID.me, so the issue seems to lie with the IRS. I haven't received any notification that it's on my end. Please assist me in resolving this issue.

I received a letter from the IRS with the notice name CP11 for the tax year [redacted], dated March 21, [redacted]. My caller ID is [redacted], and my TIN is [redacted]-80-[redacted]. The IRS found an error on my return affecting the Recovery Rebate Credit, resulting in an owed amount of $[redacted]. This is likely due to the taxes owed on the Unemployment benefits I received in [redacted] amounting to $25,[redacted]. I only paid $54 towards the taxes owed on these benefits. I am willing to pay the remaining taxes to receive the remaining $[redacted] Recovery Rebate Credit, approximately $[redacted]. I confirm that I did not list any other income for the year besides Unemployment benefits. I am looking forward to resolving this matter. Thank you, B.A. Rash.

I attempted to electronically file my taxes using TurboTax, but my submissions were rejected multiple times due to incorrect AGI. Despite correcting the AGI and resubmitting, it was still rejected. Frustrated, I mailed my returns around 2/10/22 without sending them certified as I didn't consider it at the time. Checking the status of my refund through "Where's My Refund" only shows no information available. I contacted TurboTax regarding re-filing, and they advised against it. Now, I am anxious about receiving my refund on time and potential late fees or penalties. I hope to speak with someone to understand the issue. The only potential concern is that last year, after filing electronically and receiving my refund promptly, I received emails stating my filing was rejected, which I ignored since I already received my refund. Thank you.

I recently received letter 4883C in October [redacted] after submitting my [redacted] tax return. The letter directs you to call [redacted] to confirm your identity for processing your return. Despite calling this number twice a month since October, each time it says 'we are sorry but due to high call volume we cannot take your call.' As verifying identity online for letter 4883C is not an option, I am unsure how to proceed. The only alternative is scheduling an appointment with a nearby IRS office, but the appointment line gives the same message as the 4883C number. I need assistance to successfully complete this process. Is there a way to reach a live person at the IRS to finalize the verification process? Are there other numbers available to book an appointment since the local IRS office indicates they do not handle their own appointments?

I did not file my taxes last year. I was a full-time grad student with three small part-time jobs in two states, but my income was below the threshold. I found e-filing easy in the past, so not filing last year seemed reasonable. The IRS website's tool said I wasn't required but should still consider it. Unable to e-file late returns, I want assurance on doing a paper return correctly if I decide to. I'm aware paper returns take longer, complicating my current return delay. Wondering if my unfiled taxes could affect this and what else might help speed up my refund and resolve issues with the IRS.
