I am a Chime account holder and I have been facing issues with my account being locked and my funds not being released yet. I initiated contact with Chime on January 31st, providing all the requested documents and explanations related to my account activity, including transfers to family and friends and to Cash App. Despite complying with their requests, my money remains inaccessible. As a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians, I receive casino earnings, and I had inquired about depositing a substantial sum without issues being foreseen. Chime now claims that Bancorp, not them, is responsible for the hold on my account, leaving me without any funds for necessities like bills, food, and gas. I have reached out to Chime numerous times via phone and email without resolution. It is crucial that my funds are released promptly, or I may have to consider switching to a different bank. I am in urgent need of assistance to resolve this situation as it is impacting every aspect of my life.

I have a debit Mastercard from my health plan as a benefit card. Some stores accept it, while others say it requires a pin. I'm with Brand New Day, and it's a benefits Mastercard prepaid card for the nation's benefits debit. Should I use it as a debit or credit card? Is there a pin that can be assigned to it? It's frustrating when cashiers claim there's no money, but I find there's enough when I check at home. Please respond.

My income tax return was directly deposited into my account. I had a state income deposit from South Carolina and another from the IRS for the regular refund. While withdrawing money to buy a used truck and move my home, I received an email stating that my account was suspended due to suspicious activity. I provided all requested verification documents, but 8 hours later, I was informed that the case was handed over to Bancorp for investigation. They mentioned it might take 2 days or more to resolve. It has now been close to 48 hours without access to my funds, leaving me unable to buy groceries or even gasoline to get to work. I've informed them of my situation, but all I receive are apologies for the inconvenience. The money in my account is from my tax return, which I can prove through H&R Block. I urgently need to access my funds as I have a bill due today and movers scheduled for my house tomorrow. Despite trying to reach out to Bancorp, I'm directed to Tyme and informed they can't assist me. I'm desperate for assistance to get access to my money to avoid serious problems. I appreciate any help in contacting someone at Bancorp to address this issue and understand why my account was suspended without a clear reason provided. My priority is to secure my funds to pay for moving and essential expenses.

I recently opened a savings account and arranged for my Social Security payments to be directly deposited there. Unfortunately, my February and March payments were sent to Bancorp Bank. I can no longer access my account online, and when I contacted Bancorp, they claimed that there is no account in my name. Social Security won't reissue my payments because Bancorp still holds them. I need Bancorp to either grant me access to the account or return the payments to Social Security for reissuance.

On January 23, [redacted], I was defrauded out of $4,[redacted] through the Pay Friends feature on the online app. I promptly contacted customer service to stop the unauthorized transactions. Despite believing I was speaking with tech support for a money transfer assistance, the individual, also a Chime user, transferred my funds to unknown recipients. I initiated a dispute, but it had to be reopened multiple times. Despite providing evidence showing discrepancies in the decision, I received unhelpful pre-written responses that did not address my concerns. The staff seemed uninformed about my case, leading to frustration as I had to resend documents multiple times. Despite assurances of being contacted, I have not heard from anyone regarding this matter. I feel disappointed by the lack of attention given to my fraud case, having complied with every request made. The experience has left me disheartened, especially as a long-standing Chime member.

I was supposed to receive my social security on the third of this month via PayPal, but it didn't come through. Social Security informed me that it was sent to Bancorp Bank. I simply need access to my money as I am facing eviction with a 72-hour notice and rely on this direct deposit. I suspect there might be a fraudulent account opened using my identity. I am attempting to identify the specific Bancorp bank involved to recover the stolen funds. Unfortunately, my employer is not assisting me in this matter. All I have is the last 4 digits of the bank account. It is not associated with Chime, where I have a legitimate account. Despite multiple attempts, I have been unsuccessful in reaching a customer service representative via the [redacted] number. This situation is incredibly frustrating, and I am now facing financial hardship due to these circumstances.

I am seeking assistance with a transaction issue involving a Sunrun Reward card used on PayPal. On February 1, [redacted], a payment was mistakenly sent to the wrong recipient via PayPal using VISA SUNRUN Reward card number 4[redacted]-9[redacted]. Although the recipient refunded the money, the $[redacted] has not been credited back to the card yet. PayPal indicates that an authorization release numbered [redacted] is needed from the card issuer. Despite numerous calls, customer service has been unable to provide this. As the funds have not been returned and the card expires in May [redacted], I am eager to resolve this matter promptly. I have been attempting for several months to reach a live person at Bancorp without success. Despite what reviews may claim, I am facing an issue linking my PayPal prepaid card to other online apps. When prompted by Bancorp to select a number to send a security code, the options provided are unfamiliar to me. If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will need to switch from Bancorp to a bank that is more accessible and attentive to their customers' needs.

The helpline at 1-[redacted] does not provide live assistance for fraud victims. Fraudulent activities involving Bancorp cards linked to PayPal have been reported. Instances of unauthorized direct deposit set up on Bancorp PayPal cards using employees' information have been identified. Bancorp does not facilitate standard direct deposit reversals, and due to not holding an account with them, contacting them directly is challenging. Finding a way to communicate with Bancorp in cases of fraud remains unresolved.

I made a transaction to my friend using WISE, but mistakenly entered the wrong account number. The account number had an additional 7 at the end, making it longer than the required number of digits for account numbers.
My friend reached out to your bank about this problem and was informed that since there is no account linked to the incorrect number I provided, the funds will be returned to WISE. However, we have not received any updates from WISE about the status of the refund yet.
