I received multiple emails about a trial deposit on an Amazon credit builder account that I did not open. The emails seem to be from Synchrony Bank, but I do not have any account with them. Concerned about potential fraud using my name.

I recently received three emails that appear to be from your bank. The emails contain information about Synchrony Bank and mention the prevention of identity theft. However, I want to clarify that I have not opened any new accounts. I am concerned that someone may be attempting fraud by opening an account using my information. The third email was blank, but the subject mentioned action required on an application. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter further to ensure my information and accounts are secure.

I have received three emails from Synchrony Bank regarding a trial deposit made to my Amazon Credit Builder account. I did not open a new Amazon account. Additionally, there are two unauthorized charges on my credit card today, November 25th. I attempted to contact customer service at 1-[redacted] multiple times for 90 minutes, but each time I was transferred to customer service, the call was disconnected with a message to "call again later." I also tried calling Synchrony Bank at 1-[redacted] and waited for 32 minutes before being disconnected.

I received three emails today from Synchrony Bank. One indicates a successful deposit, another mentions a trial deposit for my Amazon CreditBuilder, and the third requires action on my application. I am concerned that someone may have fraudulently opened a credit card using my information. I attempted to call 1 [redacted] twice, but both times the call couldn't be transferred. When I dialed [redacted], it said the call couldn't be completed. Recently, my credit card information was stolen, and I am worried this may be another case of identity theft. I urgently need to speak with a customer service representative soon.

I received two emails today. The first one is from Synchrony Bank regarding a trial deposit made to my account. The second email requires action on my application, but there was no content in it. As my only account is a Sams Credit Card, receiving these emails seems to be an error or potentially fraudulent. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter. Thank you. R.V.

I recently received two emails from what appears to be Synchrony Bank. Both emails mentioned a trial deposit in my account. The first email, received at 1:57 PM EST, listed Synchrony Bank's address as [redacted] Election Road, Suite [redacted], Draper, Utah [redacted]. The second email arrived at 2:02 PM EST and referred to my AMAZON CREDITBUILDER account, also using the same Utah address. I only have a Discount Tire Card account with Synchrony Bank. I believe these emails may be part of a fraudulent scheme. I have tried contacting Synchrony Bank customer service using three different phone numbers without success. Two calls were disconnected, and the third number stated that I could not be connected. I would appreciate prompt assistance in addressing this matter. Thank you, Gary S.

On Saturday, November 23rd, I bought an item from Baer's Furniture in North Palm Beach, Florida. I wanted to add the purchase to my Synchrony account #[redacted][redacted]. At the store, I was informed that I had no available credit, which came as a complete surprise to me. I have been consistently making monthly payments for almost a year, only to find out now that there is no credit left. When I tried to contact your office, I was disappointed to find that the automated system only provided my account balance without an option to speak to a representative. I hope to resolve this issue, and I am eagerly awaiting your response. Needless to say, I am extremely dissatisfied with this situation.

I am currently on the phone with your bank regarding a payment issue. I made a $27.00 payment online on November 8th, which included a $3.99 fee for using my debit card, totaling $30.99. The payment was deducted from my account on November 12, [redacted]. However, the bank is claiming they have no record of this payment, even though it was deducted from my account. Consequently, they are charging me $57.00 for December as they believe I missed November's payment. I have evidence of the payment through my bank account and am requesting immediate credit for the amount paid. I value my good credit and punctual payments. I hope to have this matter resolved promptly. Thank you.
Sincerely,
S.O.

I have been receiving emails from Synchrony Bank regarding an AMAZON CREDITBUILDER Account. The emails come from Synchrony Bank located at [redacted] Election Road, Suite [redacted], Draper, Utah, [redacted], USA. One email had the subject "Action required on your application" with no content, and another had the subject "A Trial Deposit Has Been Successfully Made to Your AMAZON CREDITBUILDER." I made an overpayment of $[redacted].15 due to a mistake during a difficult time when my husband had a stroke. My confusion led me to make two payments for two months, resulting in three checks being cashed. Despite numerous requests for a refund and providing evidence with my bank ledger, I have not received any response. As senior citizens, it is challenging for us to recover this money. I am seeking assistance in resolving this issue as the person at the bank holding our ledger has been unresponsive. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
D.W.

This morning, I received a call around 9 am from a recording claiming to be from Synchrony Bank. The message asked me to call [redacted]-34 something, but I couldn't catch the full number before the call disconnected. I have multiple accounts with Synchrony Bank, and I'm concerned about the security of my accounts. I've been trying to reach out to find the correct main number to address this issue but haven't had any luck yet. If anyone has information about this, please contact me, Sybil A. Risenstein, at [redacted]. I'm worried that this call could be related to the recent account compromises happening.

Lately, I have been continuously contacted by different collection agencies regarding an alleged debt to your bank. When I previously inquired with the bank, I was informed that I have no outstanding balance and that the claim is false. I suspect it might be related to a JC Penny card I used to have. Can you kindly investigate this matter again to confirm the accuracy of the information provided to me earlier? My contact number is [redacted].

I recently spoke with an Amazon Card representative regarding my credit limit being reduced by half due to infrequent card use. This action resulted in a drop in one of my credit ratings despite a perfect payment history. I believe Amazon/Synchrony should notify customers beforehand of any impending credit limit reductions due to inactivity. Providing a 30-day warning would be a fair practice to adopt. I am disappointed by this situation.

I recently received new cards from synchrony, and upon trying to activate them, I was instructed to contact the fraud department. They mentioned sending an SSN verification form shortly after receiving the cards, but it has been three weeks, and I have yet to receive confirmation. To add to my confusion, I have now been sent a duplicate form. The lack of information on the status of my verification is frustrating. I am unsure why there are delays and why there is no clarity on the timeline. It would be helpful to have direct contact information for the department handling this matter to get the assistance I need. I am concerned that my initial form may have been misplaced.

I am 78 years old and have been in nursing homes and hospitals since July. I did not realize that the payment for my account was due in June. I feel that Synchrony Bank may have taken advantage of my age. Currently, I owe more on my Lazyboy chair than the original purchase price after two years of payments. Unfortunately, I am unable to afford the full amount and would like to discuss a more manageable payoff plan. I will be reaching out to the BBB regarding this matter. My account number is #[redacted][redacted]. - Carol S.
