My account was scammed. The scammers sent me very realistic Steam support documents claiming I was reported for stealing. They asked for my purchase history, and it all seemed genuine. I was almost tricked into disconnecting from my account. In a minute, they changed my phone number, email, and deleted Steam Guard, demanding a €50 gift card. Please contact me via email, I can provide all the messages. He has access to my credit card and threatens to delete my account. Block my account with the username: ze_prisonnier. My phone number is +33 06 37 83 42 52. I urgently need my account blocked before it's deleted.

We bought Rocksmith for our son on June 11th, and despite spending over 6 hours with Ubisoft tech support trying to solve the issue, the game still doesn't work properly. Despite purchasing a $50 cable that wasn't in stores, we haven't been able to progress past the tuning step crucial for playing. Our online refund request on Steam was declined due to exceeding the 2-hour playtime limit, all of which was used for troubleshooting. Hello, A little over a week ago, my computer crashed, leading to a Windows 10 reinstallation. Since then, I've encountered issues accessing my Email account due to problems arising from ATT and Verizon's transition with Yahoo. This is preventing me from receiving verification codes to access my Steam account under the username odin0110. I have various games, such as the Bioshock series, Civilization 5 and 6, and premium content for Neverwinter nights that I would like to regain access to. Is there a way to update my Email address from [redacted] to my new address, [redacted]? I've been unable to find instructions on how to do this through account recovery processes. I hope my listed games can serve as proof of ownership for my account, which I've had for an extended period. I purchased a $[redacted] Steam card in Baltimore, Maryland, at GameStop for my son. After he tried to redeem it, he received a message asking to return to the store for activation. Despite showing my receipt, card, and the message to GameStop, they said it was redeemed and wouldn't refund or exchange it. I've had this issue before and lost money. I prefer a phone call, but understand contacting by email may be required. I used my Discover card for the purchase and would appreciate a refund as losing $[redacted] is significant. One of the cards works fine, but the other 2 show a message stating they are used, which is impossible because I haven't used them. A few months ago, I signed up for a Wizard101 subscription to play with my friends. However, canceling the subscription has been challenging. I missed the July 1st charge, only realizing the issue when I was charged again on August 1st. I attempted to request a refund through Steam Support-Recent Purchases, but encountered an error message stating they were having difficulty communicating with the server. The game typically does not refund in-game purchases after two days, but I have been receiving this message for the past five days. Despite trying to contact them by phone, I was unable to connect. I keep receiving emails at my email address ([redacted]) regarding "access from a new computer" with an access code, addressed to "needsleep2600." This has been happening for years, but I don't have a Steam account. Since I don't know who "needsleep2600" is or their correct email, I can't resolve this issue. I've been redirecting the emails to my spam folder. It seems "needsleep2600" needs to update their email to stop this confusion. I'd appreciate it if Steam could reach out to them using their account information to correct their email address. Thank you.

I recently purchased 3 Steam gift cards for someone, only to realize it was a scam. I gathered a lot of information from the scammer, including their Cash App username, their Hotmail email for PayPal, their cell phone number, and their presence on the Offer Up app. This incident occurred today, and I am requesting the deactivation of the Steam gift cards. I understand that the scammer has likely already used the funds on the cards, but by deactivating them, we can prevent them from being sold or used in the future, deterring further theft by scammers. I am unsure of what steps to take next with the information I have collected. Any guidance would be appreciated. I need help with my situation. Approximately one hour ago, my Steam account was hacked through a link from Twitch.tv. The hacker disabled two-factor authentication, changed the email address and phone number associated with the account, and now I am unable to log in. I have been trying to seek assistance through the support page, but since I can't access my account, I haven't made any progress. I have received messages on my email regarding this matter, but when I attempt to follow the link to secure or recover my account, it does not work. I have been using the same Steam account for over a decade without any issues, and now I find myself unable to even talk to a representative about this problem. Gaming is important to me, especially because I am disabled and it gives me something to do. I simply wish to regain access to my account. Thank you.

I received a message from someone on Steam, NiVANA, claiming they accidentally reported my account for fraud items. He provided a link to a supposed "Steam Admin" on Discord, leading to the removal of my phone number and email from my account. They requested a $50 gift card key, and in a moment of panic, I shared the code. Realizing it was a scam, I blocked them. I seek assistance in regaining access to my account, Wafflesplaygames, and my Steam account.

I spoke with a moderator named "Tyger Tyger" to discuss how I could prove my innocence regarding my account "MkFire38". However, the moderator insisted I pay 50% of the total purchase amount to resolve the issue. As I found this request suspicious, I did not comply. Subsequently, I was banned without prior notice. I bought the Disney Dreamlight Valley Ultimate Edition bundle for my daughter's Steam account for $[redacted]. I added it to my own wishlist to surprise her with it as a gift. Unfortunately, the gifting option was unavailable, so I had to log into her account, add my credit card, and buy it directly for her. I placed an order for Red Dead Redemption 2 (CAD 90.39) on August 15. I tried to download it immediately to a laptop that my daughter cleared completely, losing all my files. I recently bought NBA2K23 and I am seeking a refund due to false advertising and missing features in the game. I am unable to refund it as I have 2.2 hours logged, which is inaccurate. The actual time I spent playing is around 30 minutes, with the rest spent on updates. The key reason for wanting a refund is the absence of the "MyNBA erras" feature, which was a significant factor in my purchase decision. The PC version not being next gen without clear disclosure is disappointing, especially as many assume PC games are more advanced than PS5. It is frustrating to find essential features missing in a game that was heavily promoted. I believe it is unfair to restrict my refund based on the logged hours, especially when a considerable portion was updating the game and not actual gameplay.

Whenever I attempt to reset my password, I receive an error message indicating that additional security verification is required, and self-recovery is not available. I am willing to provide additional information, including details of my debit and PayPal accounts, although I am hesitant to share this sensitive information in this forum. I understand that I did not initially provide my PayPal details in the first ticket, which may have caused the issue. I purchased a $[redacted] Steam card in August from GameStop in Danville, KY, intending it as a gift for a friend's birthday. This message outlined restrictions like being unable to trade, sell items on the Steam market, and having my items, mainly from CSGO, locked. Upon reading this message at 1:30 a.m., I quickly traded with my friend to transfer my valuable CS knife and other unique items. However, the trade didn't go as planned, as the items ended up with another user named Alice, who has a level [redacted] Steam account. I no longer have these items but would like to recover them. I have evidence of purchasing each item on the Steam market. I reside in Bulgaria, the Balkans, for your reference. I mistakenly bought two expansions for Guild Wars 2 on Steam assuming I could use them upon logging in. However, as I have a legacy account and only launch through Steam, I found out I needed to buy the expansions through ArenaNet. I contacted Steam for a refund, but they refused due to some "play-time" recorded post-purchase, though I hadn't actually played the game. I simply left the launcher open for email reminders. I did not use the expansions. I cannot afford to repurchase, and I rely on the refund to buy the product for my active account.
