My account has been compromised by scammers twice, leading to the loss of all my valuable items. The first scammer lured me into trading 10 of my Dota 2 items under the guise of a business partnership. He promised to use them for betting, ensuring a profit to be shared between us. Despite initial doubts, I proceeded as instructed, only to be blocked and left unable to reach him. The second scammer altered my account details, claiming it was banned and pressuring me to trade my possessions to their bot account for supposed verification purposes. Despite persistent trade offers and warnings signs, I resisted their attempts to defraud me. This scammer keeps changing names and profile pictures while posing as a Steam trade checker. The continuous attempts to swindle me have left me feeling helpless and seeking urgent assistance. Thank you.

My husband accidentally damaged our home computer, and now my daughter wants to access her Steam account to play games like Slime Rancher, Terraria, & Lego Worlds on another device. She provided her account name (Janeyre78) and password, while I entered our PayPal information. However, we received an error message stating "invalid client_id or redirect_uri." I believe this is not a PayPal issue since I can access my PayPal account without any problems. Unfortunately, I am unable to receive a code sent to my husband's email for access. Please contact me at [redacted] to help resolve this issue. This email is linked to our PayPal account used for her Steam game purchases. My daughter has been struggling, and it would mean a lot to her to be able to play her games online again. Thank you for your help. Sincerely, Laurel (B.) S. & Janeyre S. If you need to reach me directly, my cell number is [redacted].

My son accessed a non-affiliated Steam website with his Steam account and shortly afterward, he received emails stating that his phone number, email, and mobile authenticator had been changed. He attempted to secure his account, but the password was already altered. Seeking help, he had a friend privatize the profile to prevent further access. He has reached out to Steam support to report the incident. Worried about a potential hack and losing his belongings, he seeks assistance in recovering his account. Thank you for your help. The account in question belongs to Maxtheboxer.

Today, I received a message from someone not on my Steam friends list claiming to be a moderator from Steam. They stated that my account would be blocked due to alleged cheating in a CS:GO match, but I suspect my account has been hacked. Changes to my profile, including my name, picture, and personal information, were made without my consent. Despite having the Steam mobile authenticator, my inventory is now empty. I tried to trade with a friend, but the offer was instantly canceled, even though my friend saw the offer history. I have screenshots of my original inventory, messages from the hacker, their Steam ID, and the account where my items were sent. This incident has caused concern as my inventory was valued at around $[redacted], a significant amount for me right now. Any assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I created a new account "axeservers" for my company to start hosting Steam servers like CSGO, but I'm banned with the following error message: "Failed to create account: 24 (This account is banned from creating game server login tokens)." This account is unrelated to an account I had years ago when I tested a plugin on a CSGO server and got banned. I have already spent 5 euros on this account to register a login token for the servers. I am not attempting to install any plugins; I just want to create private servers for testing purposes for my company's steam server hosting. I need clarification on why my account is banned and, if possible, a ban removal. Thank you, J. Machado.

The game Plague Inc. is not functioning properly on my computer, despite Steam indicating compatibility. Both the editor and gameplay are problematic, with significant performance issues. I have only played the game for less than an hour due to spending extra time troubleshooting with the developer's team, Ndemic Creations. They suggested a refund due to the ongoing technical difficulties. While I understand the two-hour refund policy, I genuinely did not exceed this limit. I have emails documenting my attempts to resolve the issue over the course of a week. I enjoy the game on mobile but encountered persistent issues on PC. I kindly request a refund considering the limited gameplay experience due to technical issues. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I recently encountered an individual pretending to be an admin conducting item inspections in a game. They attempted to convince me to purchase an expensive item using PayPal and managed to obtain my account details and valuable in-game items. Upon confronting them, they admitted to already having taken my items and proceeded to send inappropriate links. The person, using the alias "-GoV- Jayson" Scott, currently has access to my account "Zeton707." It's worth noting that if this individual is impersonating someone else, they have 11 badges, 19 games, are in 3 groups, and have a basic Steam support icon along with a unique Steam icon featuring a galaxy effect. I have screenshots of the entire conversation, including the inappropriate content. After our exchange, the individual unfriended me on Steam.

I noticed a lack of "buy" option for a specific product on Steam. Attempting to reach customer service via the Steam page or application seems challenging due to poor design. Despite this, I am interested in purchasing an app on Steam, but the buy button is missing. Based on the community hub, it appears this issue arose from implementing the Polish currency option for users in Poland. Please address this issue promptly, offer a direct way for users to contact customer support, or allow us to choose the currency for billing. Thank you.

I've tried twice to get a refund from Steam support for my PhD project's software, Capturing Reality, but both requests were denied. I'm upset that there's no UK phone number to contact them, and I find it unethical that Steam operates on a recurring membership model, which is usually associated with less reputable businesses. The denial was due to exceeding 2 hours of playtime, which isn't clear to me since I haven't used the program in over 3 weeks. I'm very frustrated with Steam's policy and considering filing a complaint with the consumer ombudsman. I feel like they've taken £60 from me unjustly, and the lack of phone support makes this situation even more frustrating.

I would appreciate not receiving automated responses. I have tried twice to get a refund for a game I purchased, but with little success. I mistakenly bought a game on the wrong account, immediately asked for the refund both times. Unfortunately, I received denials for both refund requests due to "Rocket League" playtime exceeding the 2-hour limit for refunds. The purchases and refund requests all occurred on Oct 31. I find it perplexing that the playtime is listed as 72 hours when I only bought the game less than two days ago. I would like the time of purchase and refund to be verified. I have repurchased the game on the correct account, resulting in double charges to my credit card. My account is under the name shethanil, and the game in question is Rocket League. Please reach out to me promptly.

I bought Star Traders in October and was mistakenly refunded without requesting it. Upon receiving Russian email notifications from Steam, I discovered erroneous refund requests. Despite contacting Steam and repurchasing to preserve the discount, my wallet was refunded without my involvement, causing concern over unauthorized purchases. Subsequently, after purchasing Football Manager [redacted] and playing it, I encountered an issue where the game was marked as offline and prompting for a repurchase due to another incorrect refund request. This presents a worry that refunded money might be utilized without authorization in the future. I am seeking a refund for the initial transaction, wish to update the inaccurate phone number associated with my account, and emphasize the necessity to reactivate Football Manager [redacted], as I did not request a refund for it.

I attempted to log in via a web browser but couldn't due to forgetting my password and exceeding the allowed attempts. I used the "forgot my password" option to reset it through a code sent to my phone. Despite changing the password, I remain locked out. I was trying to add something on totalwar.com. Surprisingly, this specific item requires website access rather than the client. My username is Dougwade520, and my contact email is goudkanayama@hotma*l.com. I tried Chrome, Edge, and Opera on three different browsers and Chrome on my phone. I cleared the cache, attempted to log in directly, not through totalwar.com, and have successfully logged in from this location previously. I'd appreciate any help with this issue.

I attempted to log in through my browser but forgot my password. After using the "forgot my password" option and updating it successfully, I am still unable to access my account on totalwar.com. Strangely, I can log in on the Steam client with the new password. Despite numerous attempts on different browsers and devices and clearing cache and logging in directly, the issue persists. It's frustrating that accessing this particular item requires going through the website instead of the client. My username is Dougwade520 and the contact email is [redacted] Any help with this matter would be highly valued.

Earlier today, I bought "Dragon Ball Z FighterZ," a fighting game. I attempted to get a refund through the automatic system, but it was declined due to the play time exceeding 2 hours. I only played for 30 minutes because I found the gameplay disappointing, but the game logged 5 hours because it remained open while I went grocery shopping. Why would I purchase a fighting game intending to play for 5 hours? It doesn't make sense. Fighting games offer hours of entertainment, but even if I had played the logged 5 hours, I wouldn't have enjoyed the game. I hope that a real individual reads this request and can understand my situation. Thank you.

Hello, I recently purchased "Dragon Ball Z Fighter Z," a fighting game. I encountered an issue trying to get a refund as the system indicated I played over 2 hours. In reality, I only played for 30 minutes and left the game running while I went grocery shopping, leading to 5 hours logged. It doesn't make sense for me to purchase a game just to play it for 5 hours. Fighting games are designed to offer many hours of enjoyment, but even if I had played the logged 5 hours, I would not have found satisfaction in the gameplay. I hope this message reaches a human reader who can understand my situation. Thank you for your attention.

I recently purchased a GTA V bundle which includes the game, criminal enterprise DLC, and a great white shark card for $39.71. I made the purchase and I'm currently in the process of downloading it, with the download at about 60% completion. However, my purchase was unexpectedly flagged as fraudulent, an issue that has left me frustrated and confused. Despite Steam refunding my payment, the download has not been disrupted, and I hope it stays that way. At this point, I plan to reach out to support for assistance. My main goal is to not have my download interrupted as I eagerly await the chance to play this amazing game. Thank you for your help.

Hello, I wanted to share that I am going through a divorce, and unfortunately, my 11-year-old daughter took my debit card without my knowledge. She used it to make multiple purchases on games and wallet credit, leaving me in a tough spot financially. I only discovered this when I tried to buy groceries and realized my account was empty. It's a challenging situation for me as a single parent dealing with this unexpected loss of funds. I would deeply appreciate any assistance in resolving this issue. I haven't been able to focus on my finances amidst the divorce proceedings, and now I am left with no money. Thank you for your help. You can contact me at [redacted]0 or via email at [redacted]

In July of last year, my Transformice account with the username Galaxy_love#[redacted] was banned for steam fraud. This incident occurred about a month or two after a friend shared their experience of having to play for a while before being able to purchase farises on Transformice through Steam. After playing enough, I asked if I could utilize the $5 left in their Steam wallet, which they agreed to. However, upon logging in later, I discovered my account was banned. Despite my friend denying involvement and making changes to their country and currency in my Steam account, the situation remains unresolved. I am eager to have my account unbanned, especially after investing over $[redacted] in farises over the three years since I created the account at the age of 14. It is frustrating that the administrator of Transformice does not respond to messages from permanently banned accounts. I seek assistance as I am disheartened by the thought of losing access to my account and the significant investment I made in it.

A few years ago, I was incorrectly issued a VAC ban for a game I didn't even own (CS:S). This ban led to me being banned from TF2, a game where I had invested [redacted] hours and $[redacted]. Despite reaching out to their email support, I have only received automated responses. I am seeking clarification on the reason for my ban and the inability to appeal it, as I am certain of my innocence and would never cheat. The situation has caused me significant stress and financial loss exceeding $[redacted], rendering my account essentially unusable while being falsely labeled as a cheater. My account name is "marvinatorisch," currently displayed as MadEyeCat. I have retained access to my password, email, and phone number linked to the account. E-mail customer support mentioned my ban was related to CS:S, a game I had never played or launched.

For the past day, I've been unable to access Steam. I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the app. It now opens but I'm facing an issue with my password. When trying to reset it using my account name, alicat94, and email, I receive an error message stating, "An error occurred while searching for an associated account." I'm confused by this situation. Additionally, I attempted to reach out via the provided phone number, yet it seems to be out of service.
