I fell victim to a rental scam on Craigslist. The person I was dealing with requested payment in stream cards and I ended up purchasing $[redacted] worth of them. I now realize there was never an apartment. I need to cancel these cards as soon as possible. Unfortunately, I shared the card numbers with the scammer, including B2I7N-O3RI6-7RYCX for $[redacted], N2QTA-VCAKL-DF9Y9 for $[redacted], AEHRD-LE2HG-9CW32 for $80, and X7INY-GJDX7-PWALZ for $50. Please cancel these cards if they have not been used yet. I also have another card for $[redacted] that I haven't shared with the scammer. Can I return this unscratched card and get a refund?

Steam Account Hello, I am reaching out regarding my Steam account that was hacked a few days ago, on November 2nd, I believe. The hacker managed to take over my account. My username is lambertino16_ and my email is [redacted], which the hacker has changed. They have not changed my username yet but have altered my email address, modified the phone number associated with the account, and deleted all my Steam contacts (confirmed by a friend who doesn't see me in their friends' list anymore). I am seeking your assistance in recovering my Steam account with the information I have provided: - The hacker has not changed my username (lambertino16_). - I found out their email address was "k**********@i********.r*" when trying to recover my account. - On the same website, I saw that their mobile number ends with 43, while mine originally ended with 90 ([redacted]). - My PC was hacked on November 2nd. - The hacker deleted my entire friends' list, which I discovered through a contact named Neptune on Steam. I can provide other friend names like RaphaQ, Sebnopp, and Hinagoo. I understand this may be complex, but I appreciate any help you can provide in recovering my Steam account based on the information the hacker altered. Thank you in advance. lambertino16_

I have sent multiple messages and keep getting redirected. I lost $[redacted] on Steam gift cards. I don't have an account, so giving my credit card number won't work. I paid with cash for these gift cards. I would like my money back via email. Please provide me with the codes or find another payment method. I can provide all the necessary details once I have the codes. I don't want to be transferred to someone else. I can't lose $[redacted] because of this confusion.

I had an issue with my Steam account after attempting to reset my password through Discord. Although I didn't complete the process, when I tried to log back in, my new password didn't work. Despite multiple attempts to reset, I received a notification to try again later. When I finally regained access, my account was completely different - my name changed, uninstalled games were missing, and items I had purchased were gone. This is concerning as there is money tied to my account. I would appreciate any help in rectifying this situation. Thank you.

Hello, I believe my Steam account was compromised about two weeks ago by someone from Russia. I reached out to support, and they assisted me in resetting my password. Sadly, within 20 minutes, the account was hacked once more. Despite submitting another complaint to regain access, I have not received a response. Please assist me in recovering my Steam account. I can verify the previous email address, payment method, and most frequently played games if needed.

Hello, this is Orion_Appleseeds reporting that the account Team50303 was stolen by someone impersonating a Valve employee. The incident occurred on Nov 6, [redacted], at 6:00 pm PST when a Steam user named Cobby alerted me that I was being impersonated, accusing me of scamming them, which I deny as I do not know Cobby. Our conversation on Discord led me to contact Wheatley#[redacted], who claimed to be a Valve employee. Evidence of our conversation from Nov 6th to 7th proves that I was indeed scammed, leading to the theft of my account, Team50303. I'd like to clarify that I am not involved in any scams and that my identity was exploited by someone else. I am requesting the return of my account and the resolution of this misunderstanding. If Wheatley#[redacted] is truly a Valve employee, I kindly ask for their assistance in resolving this issue.

My store card is unreadable due to damage, and I need assistance getting it exchanged or refunded. I purchased two cards at Woolworths in Surfers Paradise, QLD, but one of them is not activated, making it impossible to use for my sick nephew. Despite having the receipt and buying them with cash, the scratched number worsened when I tried to fix it, causing distress. I am upset with Woolworths' response, as I just want a simple exchange. Please contact me and Woolworths promptly to resolve this issue, as I am a pensioner facing unnecessary stress. I have the necessary documentation and proof to support my request for a replacement card. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter. Kathryn Springbett.

I purchased a steam card that I can't read. Trying to reveal the number digitally only made it worse. I'm frustrated because I bought two $50 cards for my sick nephew with my pensioner budget. I have receipts, photos before the scratching mishap, and proof of purchase from Woolworths. All I wanted was to exchange it, but the ordeal has left me upset. I'm not sure if I want more hassle. I visited the store and encountered inexperienced staff. Please assist me in getting a refund in cash or to my credit card. I'd prefer an exchange for another card, but I'm feeling distressed. Kindly reach out to Woolworths at [redacted] Surfers Paradise or contact me at [redacted]. Please act promptly. Sincerely, KS.

I purchased a game on Steam a few months back. On day one, the game didn't work and still doesn't. I sought help immediately, but my claim was automatically denied by Steam's auto response system, which seems to reject all claims. I also tried to get a refund, well within the policy's timeframe, but the auto response denied it too. After three weeks of no response from customer support, I followed up only to be told my refund request was out of the 14-day window. I made my original requests on day one, within the timeframe. It feels like they are purposefully delaying responses to avoid issuing a refund for a game that doesn't function and they won't fix. Please assist me in resolving this issue and getting my refund.

I recently purchased Forza Horizon 5 for myself and gifted it to a friend who couldn't afford it then. Unfortunately, after playing the game, neither of us enjoyed it. We both found the map and environment boring and not engaging. The online experience was also disappointing. We spent over an hour trying to play together online but couldn't interact despite seeing each other on the map. We only realized after this extended period that we were past the 2-hour return window. Despite this, I kindly request a refund for both copies of the game.

I have provided Steam with my ID picture, original email from over 15 years ago, details of my first game transaction, last 4 digits of the credit card on file, and an old phone number associated with the account. Despite this, I have not received help in recovering my account. I find it frustrating that the verification process is more rigorous than what my bank requires. When attempting to call the support number provided, I was informed that phone support is unavailable for Valve games. All I want is to regain access to my account.

I recently purchased $[redacted].00 worth of Steam cards this afternoon, but unfortunately, they were all faulty. The merchant refused to provide a refund despite me explaining the issue right after the purchase. The Assistant Manager initially mentioned that only 4 of the cards were functional, but upon testing, all the cards turned out to be defective. I left the store with the cards as instructed, but they were indeed all unusable. I am reaching out for help regarding this situation as I am now out $[redacted].00.

I recently attempted to access my Steam account on my computer and encountered a Steam Guard verification issue. Despite the system stating that an email with a code was sent to my Outlook account, I am unable to locate it. I have tried various methods within both my Steam and email account settings without success. If possible, could you kindly reach out to me via my Outlook email or by phone? I had previously left voicemails for customer service between 8:20 and 8:25. I would greatly appreciate it if you could return my call at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

I have been attempting to request a refund for Battlefield [redacted] Ultimate Edition for several days now. I bought the game on November 12th and have received only automated emails denying my refund due to exceeding the 2-hour gameplay limit (I have played for 39 hours). Despite explaining the numerous technical issues and bugs in the game, my requests have been rejected. The game is filled with technical problems like missing content and server performance issues. Even with a high-performance graphics card, the game struggles to run smoothly on servers with [redacted] players. The removal of promised features like XP progression in Battlefield Portal adds to the disappointment. The ongoing bugs and lack of content have made it frustrating for me to enjoy the game. I have repeatedly contacted support, but only automated responses have been received. I bought the game during Early Access and am dissatisfied with its incomplete state. I urge for direct support from a Steam employee to assist with my refund request. The game's release violates the Early Access guidelines regarding promises and unfinished development. I request immediate action on my refund. Thank you.

Hello. Today, it seems that my account "tester12121" has been hacked. My name is Holger Weßling. My email is [redacted], where I have a second account called "harveys42" that is functioning correctly. When attempting to reset "tester12121," the account reset is consistently for "harveys42." A purchase was made on a VISA card that does not belong to me and likely has another name on the card. This incident should serve as sufficient evidence that my account has been compromised. What steps can we take to address this issue? Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Holger.

I recently tried to access my Steam account after a break and found out it was hacked. The email linked to my account has been changed, and Steam's support only suggested scanning for malware and changing the password. However, I can't follow these steps because the email on my account is now different. I have many games on Steam, and I don't want to lose them all. I attempted to contact the number on the website but had no success. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Hello. I recently tried to log into my Steam account after some time away and encountered issues with the authentication process. I had deleted the app needed for the authentication code and do not have a phone number associated with my account for recovery purposes. Additionally, I am missing the recovery code. I also require authentication to log into Steam on my phone. As a result, I have been unable to access my account for months and I am concerned about losing access to the games I have purchased. I would appreciate assistance in resolving this matter as I am eager to resume playing. Thank you for your help.

I encountered an issue attempting to access my Steam account from a site I believed to be safe. Unfortunately, my account "Marshmello_Man" was compromised, and all account information was altered. This included changing the associated email, deleting the phone number, disabling Steam Guard, and adjusting the password. I am requesting assistance in resetting the email and/or password and sending it to my email address at [redacted] I want to emphasize that I am the legitimate owner of this account. I have purchased various digital games such as Portal 2 and Among Us. Additionally, I would appreciate consideration for refunds on these games. It is of utmost importance to me to regain access to my account promptly. Thank you for your cooperation in resolving this matter.

My son is unable to access his Steam account due to suspicious activity. Someone claiming to be Gavin "Matt" Broadbelt from Steam support began communicating with my son and requested payment to regain access. My son is convinced this individual is legitimate. Can you confirm if Gavin is one of your representatives? Is there a $50 fee to verify a Steam account? Furthermore, is there a $[redacted] charge to initiate a refund for the money spent? I am deeply concerned as my son has autism and may have fallen victim to a scam. Your immediate assistance in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated. Please reach out to me at your earliest convenience to address this issue.
