Hello, I appreciate you taking the time to read this. I am encountering an issue with my PS5 controller while using it with Steam on my PC. Initially, all functions were working correctly, but now the vibration feature is not working when connected via wireless Bluetooth. I have meticulously reviewed the controller's settings and configurations to ensure everything is set up correctly, but I have not been successful in getting the vibration feature to work, except when the controller is connected to the PC via USB. This problem started after I reinstalled my Windows operating system. Here is what I have attempted so far: -Reinstalling Steam and games -Reverting settings and configurations to default -Resetting my PS5 controller I am puzzled as to why the vibration function is not operational when using the wireless Bluetooth connection. Thank you for your help.

I encountered an issue with Steam two days ago, which led me to uninstall it and install a different program. Unfortunately, I am currently unable to log in despite trying two verification codes and resetting my password. This frustration comes amidst discovering ten broken pipes under my house and spending the day installing a new septic system. Today, dealing with any more problems is not ideal, especially since my two players are unable to access Runescape without Steam, which works better for them. I greatly miss using Steam, as it's a significant part of my leisure time, especially since "magiclady" has been unable to play for the past two days, three counting our trip to Galveston. The damaged pipes are located underneath my bathroom, the lowest point in the house, causing me distress. Restoring my access to Steam would be immensely appreciated.

Hello, I used to play Dota 2 casually and invested nearly [redacted] hours into the game. When I purchased the Dota Plus subscription to enhance my gaming experience, I intended to maintain it sporadically. Lately, I haven't been playing as much and have left the game aside. Unfortunately, the subscription renewed automatically, and I may have overlooked canceling the recurring payment, assuming it wouldn't go through with a zero Steam balance. The payment was made through my Paypal account. I would appreciate it if you could address this issue. Your refund policy allows for refunds on subscriptions if the service has not been utilized during the current billing cycle. Since the subscription renewal, I have not played the game at all.

I found Hearts of Iron IV to be much more intricate than I anticipated given the short two-hour playtime limit for refunds. The complexity of the game was poorly addressed in the tutorial provided by the developers. Unfortunately, within the three hours I played, a considerable amount of time was dedicated to reading the in-game Wiki to comprehend various aspects. I am requesting a refund to my wallet for this purchase so I can invest in games with better tutorials for similarly complex gameplay. If not refunded, I may become hesitant to explore new games on Steam in the future. I appreciate any assistance with this matter.

I made an error and clicked on a link that caused my account to be hacked by someone in Russia. The hacker's email is [redacted] My account name is alyjolie, and my screen name is AJlys. Unfortunately, I no longer have control over my account and need assistance in regaining access. Being a financially strapped college student, I cannot afford to repurchase all my games. I received a suspicious message on Discord notifying me that I won a Glory AK47 in a giveaway. The message directed me to a website, rust-gift.com, and provided a promo code to claim the prize. Regrettably, my curiosity led to the compromise of my account. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having an issue with my game Hearts of Iron IV. I tried to download a mod from the workshop, but it's stuck validating at 48.0 MB downloaded. I've tried reloading Steam, clearing my cache, and watching videos for a solution. Now, when I try to access my account, it says I need permission to play the games I've already paid for. This is frustrating, and I would appreciate any assistance with resolving this matter. Thank you.

Hello Steam Support, I sent a trade offer to my alternate account on March 28th. When I went to accept it, I found out it was cancelled, even though I didn't cancel it myself (see Picture 1). Later, I discovered that the offer was sent to another account with the same name and profile picture as my alternate account, which I did not initiate (see Picture 2). I'm concerned that my account may have been hacked, as I did not send the second offer. I followed all security measures, including having Steam Guard activated on both accounts and only trading with known individuals. Despite this, I lost all my skins in this incident. I have taken steps to secure my accounts by deauthorizing all devices and changing passwords. I reported the scam but have not seen any action taken yet. I urge you to act swiftly to help recover my items before the trade hold ban expires. Attached is a picture of the trade offer where the items were sent to the scammer's account, with a similar offer going to my alternate account, both accounts sharing the same name. Links to accounts involved: Alternate Account: [redacted] Scammer’s Account: [redacted] I've reviewed the Steam Restoration Policy but believe more should be done to protect users who have diligently followed security measures. Please assist me in retrieving my skins. Thank you, Elston

I purchased Valheim two months ago with high hopes for a new gaming experience. Unfortunately, the game kept crashing and not saving progress, making it unplayable. Hoping for a fix in updates, I recently reinstalled it, but the crashes persist every few minutes. I am seeking a refund to invest in a more enjoyable game. Valheim's support suggestions have not resolved the issue. Despite detailing the problem to Steam and requesting a refund based on their policy allowing exceptions beyond two weeks, I have been repeatedly denied. I hope to reach someone who can understand my situation and assist with my refund request appropriately.

I received a message on Discord claiming I was reported accidentally. The person referred me to a supposed "Valve employee" who asked for screenshots of my purchase history. After providing the information, they locked my account pending further verification. This individual then requested that I purchase a Steam gift card, which raised suspicion in me, leading me to realize it was a scam. Now, my account is locked and the email associated with it has been changed, leaving me unable to access it.

I fell victim to a scam without realizing it until it was too late. A fraudulent individual, claiming to be an admin on Steam, tricked me into revealing my email. It wasn't until they requested bank information that I became suspicious and researched further, confirming I had been scammed. The imposter informed me of an accidental report and, as I rarely use Steam except for a few games, I didn't question it much. My email and password were changed, and even though the credit card attached had only a $[redacted] limit shared with my dad, he's taking steps to have it canceled. I am currently locked out of the account and unable to reset my password, as both my email and phone number are not recognized.

I purchased Warhammer Dawn of War II: Retribution, the last standalone game mode, along with the Tau Commander DLC for my MacBook. Unfortunately, the multiplayer mode doesn't function properly, rendering the game unusable. Steam inaccurately recorded 4 hours of playtime while I attempted to troubleshoot, although I was unable to actually play due to the issues. I requested a refund, but it was denied under the false pretense that I had played for too long. The game's presence on the Mac store is deceptive, especially without the ability to receive refunds for unplayable content. I urge for a refund for the game and DLC, as I feel misled by the store listing.

I am encountering issues accessing my Hotmail account, and the recovery process is causing me frustration. Verification is challenging as it requires old Hotmail accounts and a previous Norwegian phone number, which I no longer possess. I have tried the recovery process numerous times without success due to not recalling details like my Steam contacts and Xbox gamertag. I've decided to transition away from Hotmail due to security concerns. However, my Steam account is linked to my Hotmail and is inaccessible due to Steam Guard requiring email verification. Losing access to my Steam account would be problematic considering the time invested in it. I need assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

Six months ago, I purchased two games at full price and have the email receipts to prove it. Recently, I sold my computer, but today I bought a new one and logged into my Steam account to find my game library empty, missing the expensive games I bought. When I tried to access Football Manager [redacted], it was listed as deleted from the Steam site. I paid a significant amount for it and I believe I am entitled to redownload the game. The same issue occurred with the second game I bought, Drug Dealer Simulator. Even though I bought it before and have the receipt in my email, it is prompting me to repurchase it. Please assist me promptly as I don't want to feel like I've lost my money for nothing.

Hello, On 11/04/[redacted] at 11:33, I bought Sea of Thieves, which got stuck multiple times on the loading screen after installation. I had to troubleshoot and fix the issue, which took about 3 hours with the loading screen open. I also had to download and install an app from the Windows App Store before starting the game each time. Additionally, the game crashed every 15-20 minutes, so I only spent about 1.5-2 hours actually playing. This was unsatisfactory. Since I don't believe it will improve, I would like to return the game. The refund was declined because it shows I played for 06:08 hours. What should I do? Regards, Andreas Bandel

Issue: I have a Steam account with many games purchased over the years. Recently, Steam told me my password or account name is invalid. When I tried to reset the password, I struggled with the blurry captcha images due to poor eyesight. I need an alternative method to reset my password. How I Want It Fixed: Please clarify if my username is knighter1776, knighter1776@gmail, or just knighter. The initial box on Steam shows knighter1776, but a later window indicates knighter1776@gmail. As my account is 7 years old, I can't recall the exact username. Thank you.

Hello Support, I recently had my Steam account compromised after clicking on a link sent to me via Discord. The individual who hacked my account requested personal information such as my email and Steam purchase history. Upon realizing it was a scam, I immediately locked my bank account that was linked to my Steam account and changed my password. However, upon logging back into my Steam account, I noticed that my profile has been altered and I can no longer see my picture, level, or other details. It seems like the hacker may have somehow relinked my email address. I would like to regain access to my original account. I am able to provide verification by referencing the confirmation emails I received from my recent game purchases. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, L. Uhlenbrock

I received a message from an old friend on Steam inviting me to join a Rocket League tournament. After logging into the game and joining his lobby, he instructed me through Steam messages to sign into the RL tournament and link my account for potential rewards. Upon clicking the provided link, I landed on a webpage that appeared to be a legitimate tournament site. I proceeded to click the join section of the tournament and entered my login details along with the authenticator code. However, as soon as I pressed enter, I was immediately logged out of my account. Subsequently, I received emails informing me that my phone and authenticator were removed from my Steam account, along with changes to my password. While I have receipts and additional information about my account, it has been compromised. The email I will attach for this issue is the primary one associated with my account, and I am currently experiencing unauthorized changes to my Epic Games account linked to Rocket League.

Hello, I purchased a pre-owned "Football Manager [redacted]" physical CD. When attempting to install, Steam rejected the key as it was previously used by the previous owner. Key: T2W2W-M824L-M6PP3 Could you provide a new key and deactivate the old one accordingly? I am aware that the Paris TGI ruled on September 17, [redacted], stating that it is illegal for Steam to prevent customers from reselling their games. I believe the seller acted in good faith. Thank you for your cooperation. Regards, J.-F. Charbinat

I am having trouble with the CAPTCHA verification, and my Steam account is not recognizing my email address. I suspect my email may have been compromised as my password changed without my knowledge. I need assistance accessing my Skyrim game on Steam as I am being flagged as a bot. I am concerned about security issues related to my compromised email and the inability to log into my accounts. I have my confirmation code available for any legal purposes. Unfortunately, I cannot reach Steam support through live chat. I need help resolving this issue to log into Steam. I believe my old information needs to be transferred to access my account securely. I am worried about the security of my accounts and need help accessing my Steam account.

Hello. I am seeking assistance in regaining access to an account that was taken from me through a textbook scam. A Steam user named FoundingTitan.tf initiated the scam by following the typical steps scammers do. Despite not realizing such scams existed, I lost access to my locked account, with the scammer claiming it was deleted. I am wondering if there is any way to recover the account, along with its games, items, and the remaining 1.18€ balance. The account name was mr_nakki, associated with the email [redacted] I had invested time and money in games and items on this account, and unfortunately, I fell for the scam. The scammer went by the name Jeff Weemahn#[redacted] on Discord and even attempted to blackmail me into buying him a $50 Steam card. Any help resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.
