Hello, I am experiencing issues with a DLC in DCS World that I purchased for $40. Within 24 hours of enjoying it, my game started crashing whenever I used it. After uninstalling the DLC, my game worked fine with other aircraft. Despite playing for more than 2 hours, I hope for a refund due to the persistent crashing issue. Your understanding is appreciated as I am unable to benefit from a product that disrupts my gameplay. Thank you.

I recently purchased Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and downloaded it a few years ago. After discovering it didn't run well on my old PC, I only played for about an hour. Now, with a new laptop, I attempted to play again. However, I encountered issues with diagonal movement alerting guards, leading to an unpleasant experience. I have spent multiple hours trying to fix the game by patching, modding, and tweaking ini files, among other steps. Despite having played for 6 hours, the game only registers 1 hour from the initial download years ago, leaving me with 5 new hours. The majority of this time has been spent troubleshooting rather than progressing in the game. I have only completed the first mission after 5 hours of effort and would like a refund due to the technical challenges I've faced.

I bought the Early Release of Mount & Blade II Bannerlord on April 3. I could play initially but it crashes when I try to progress further. I asked for a refund on April 4 after the 5th crash. My requests were denied due to playing over 2 hours. I resubmitted twice but kept getting automated responses citing the playtime. This reason is not valid for the issue I am facing. I prefer a personalized response to resolve this. My Refund Request Ticket HT-836D-879W-HB74 for $48.70. I am William Hendrickson at [redacted] It's my first refund request on Steam, and the process has been frustrating with automated responses and no phone support. Hoping for a better outcome through this chat. Thank you, William Hendrickson.

Hello, I have been stuck with my Steam account for 3 years now. I've been playing a purchased game, Sniper 4, almost daily without logging in as my account was saved. However, 2 days ago when I tried to launch my usual game (my account gerardcorsica) and entered my password, it didn't work. When I used the forgot password option, my account had turned into oceane2b20, my daughter's name. I then tried to play my game through this account, but it wasn't available. It's disappointing because my game had progressed a lot over time. Can you please advise me on how to get back to my gerardcorsica account? I'd also like to mention that my daughter's account is on the same email address and PC, [redacted] Thank you for trying to help me out, as I really value this game. Thank you, Gerard B. [redacted]

While browsing the community, I came across an offer for a free knife in CSGO that seemed authentic. I clicked on it and entered my login details, only to have my whole Steam account compromised instantly. Despite trying to recover it using my email and phone number, both had been altered by the hacker. Now I find myself out of $20 and tons of time spent on CSGO achievements. My concern is not being able to access my account, which also has my cousin’s credit card information linked to it. I hope for Valve/Steam support to locate and restore my account. Alternatively, I would appreciate a Steam gift card to repurchase everything I lost.

I clicked on a Steam link for a free CS:GO skin without realizing it was suspicious. Two hours later, I saw I was logged out from Steam. When I tried to log back in, my password was deemed incorrect. Even after multiple attempts, it did not work. Upon checking my email, I found three messages from Steam indicating changes to my account - my phone and Steam Guard had been removed. Upon checking the connected email, I discovered it was not mine but belonged to someone else.

I bought Doom Eternal on March 26 without first checking if my system could handle it. Unfortunately, my graphics card is too old for the game, causing it to repeatedly stall on the seizure warning page upon download. Despite leaving it overnight in hopes it would progress, it never went beyond that screen. No actual gameplay occurred, as it never advanced from the warning. All recorded "playtime" is a result of leaving it on overnight.
I've requested a refund twice, emphasizing that the game was unplayable due to technical limitations. I'm hoping to speak with someone who can assist me as spending $63 on an unplayable game is disappointing. Any assistance with this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I recently received an email from Steam regarding my account Thragar26, informing me that the email address linked to my Steam account has been changed. Now, I am unable to access my account at all. I attempted the recovery method suggested online to retrieve my account but ended up linking one of my other accounts to my email instead. This has prevented me from recovering my original account where all my Steam games are saved.

Hello. I'm reaching out because my son's Steam account has been compromised. Unfortunately, the breach occurred overnight while he was asleep, making it challenging for him to address promptly. Despite receiving notifications via email, the hacker has since altered all login credentials. The current username associated with the account is "fapek69248!" and the recovery email is [redacted]. I've attempted to reset the Gmail password, but no resolution has been achieved. Any advice on how to regain access to the account would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Steam,
I am Noah Dejager. Unfortunately, my account has been hijacked, and I am unable to retrieve it as the email associated with it has been changed. The original email was [redacted], and my account name is noah_dejager. I noticed unusual activity when I received an email from you mentioning an attempt to access my account from Moscow. Despite my efforts to change my password, the account had already been compromised. I have games like Hurtworld, CS:GO (paid version), and Lego World on the account that I would like to regain access to. I understand this situation is challenging, but please consider reaching out to my friends on that account, such as Runieboy or [MLP]Fluttershy, to verify my identity.
Thank you,
Noah Dejager

I purchased a game less than two weeks ago and have been trying to get a refund for it. My PC doesn't meet the system requirements, causing the game to stutter and crash frequently. I spent 60 euros on it, and I don't want to lose that money. Although my playtime shows as 5 hours, most of that time was spent waiting for the game to load or dealing with a frozen screen. I really need a refund.

I received a message from someone pretending to be a Steam moderator, claiming my account needed restrictions lifted. They requested photos of my account details and order history, which I provided. They then instructed me to share my PIN, sent to my email, on Discord. I did so and, soon after, my account was disabled. The imposter then asked for the last 4 digits of my credit card used on Steam. This raised red flags, so I ceased communication. When I asked them to unlink my account and email, there was no response. I am now seeking assistance to reactivate my account and link it back to my Gmail.

I fell victim to a scam. A person offered to add me to a team for a tournament with a rule that our accounts should be under $10. They provided a link and instructed me to trade via Steam with a personal friend. I completed the trade with my trusted friend, confirmed it through Steam Guard on my phone, but my friend received nothing, and I lost approximately €70 worth of valuable items from my account. Even though I am aware of Steam's item recovery policy, I believe there should be a way to address this since I traded with my friend, and the history shows a successful trade with them.

After mistakenly being reported for illegal activities, my Steam account was deleted. Somehow, the duplicate account had access to my email. By entering my email on the Steam website and using the forgot password option, I was able to regain control of the account. I changed the contact information and password to prevent the other person from accessing it. However, I am eager to recover my original account. I would like to speak with a representative to see if it's possible to regain access to the recently deleted account. The customer service representative I interacted with initially tried to assist me but requested $[redacted] to restore access. Even after my explanation, they did not believe me and proceeded to delete my account.

I was requested to buy $[redacted].00 worth of Steam card value through Zelle to receive funds from someone. I purchased a Steam gift card from a local Walmart today and sent it to the other person. When she tried to use it, the transaction was denied. No one else had access to the card but me, so I suspect it was faulty. I am requesting a refund or a replacement card with valid numbers as soon as possible.

Dear support staff,
I have encountered an issue with my Steam account. Despite changing my password, I continue to receive an error message stating "wrong password or account name." When attempting to log in through the Steam community page to vote for Rust, my account name Tejat05 appears, and my password is visible. However, using this password to log in results in the same error message.
Even after reinstalling the Steam client with new account credentials (Steam Account: robert040950), I can only access games under the account "Robert040950" as a webmaster, not under Tejat05 where they belong.
I have tried password recovery services and changing passwords, but I still cannot access my Tejat05 account. I play Rust frequently and would appreciate any assistance in restoring access to my Tejat05 account.
Thank you.

I bought three $50 Steam gift cards for a friend who is unwell. Unfortunately, while I was at the gas station, two individuals were in my car and later I discovered that they had scratched off the codes on the cards. I confronted them, but they denied any knowledge. I'm concerned the money may have been stolen. Could you help me verify the balances on the cards? The PIN codes are:
1. 974VB-DIQD6-PYKNP
2. 818CN-8NHAD-YD46M
3. YLJ37-H70RX-J9VDL
I have the original purchase receipts if needed. The individuals who were with me believe the cards may not have been activated properly at Walgreens. Thank you for your assistance! - B.

My grandson Oran M. needs to update his email and phone number on his account due to his Mum's details being compromised. He would like to switch to using my details, [redacted] and Mobile Number [redacted]7. Oran, who is autistic, relies on me to manage his account. I, Janet Sim, am requesting these changes as it was my bank card that was used without authorization for a recent purchase on Steam. I have obtained a reference number, HT-9X8D-X4T8-KY4G, when attempting to update the information under his account. Your prompt response is greatly appreciated as he will be unable to make future purchases on his Steam account until these changes are made. Thank you.

My Steam account has been hacked. The email, password, mobile authentication, and phone number have all been changed. I am unable to recover it conventionally, but I have all the necessary information including the original email and old phone number. I can provide proof of the account, past emails, and credit card transactions.

I recently visited the CS Money website to check the value of my CS:GO skins. Unfortunately, I fell victim to a fake version of the CS Money site that appeared legitimate. After logging in, the site went down with a [redacted] error message claiming it was undergoing maintenance. It turns out I was scammed, and now I am unable to use my Steam authenticator as the hacker changed it to their phone. Additionally, my email associated with the Steam account was altered without my permission. The unauthorized activity seems to be originating from Russia, as per a Steam notification sent to me. I have since updated my security codes on my computer and scanned for viruses, but nothing suspicious was detected.
