I am using a Mac with MacOS 10.14. Recently, a game I play released an update. However, when I tried to play it later, I encountered an error message stating "An error occurred while updating Toribash (missing executable)." On top of that, the game only downloaded 97 MB of files despite indicating it needs [redacted] MB of space. I have attempted various solutions from online sources and Steam support without success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My Steam account (zdralek 11) has been stolen, and the associated email address and telephone number were changed. This occurred while I was playing a game on Steam, and the system prompted me to sign back in. Simultaneously, I received an email notifying me of the email address change. Regular Steam support is only able to assist if some account details remain unchanged, which is not my case. I am unable to access my account now, and I am hoping for your assistance. To prove my ownership, I can provide information about the recent purchases on the account, as well as the original email and phone number.

I've been struggling to launch my game, Stormworks, for nearly a year now. Despite attempting various solutions like verifying the game files, reinstalling, and repurchasing it, nothing has been successful. Even after reaching out to Steam Support, I still haven't found a resolution. I'm eager for assistance to finally overcome this issue.

My account was hacked because I clicked on a link that led me to a fake website. My friend's account may have been compromised too. I received endless messages from him about Rocket League and clicked on the same link he sent. I've secured my account and contacted Steam support for help. I'm really scared because my account is valuable to me. It's worth around [redacted] euros with over 25 games. It's late, and I'm exhausted, but could you please assist me in recovering my account? I'm sure my IP address can verify my identity. Thank you for your help. I have my original phone number, email, last digits of the credit card, and other account details if needed.

I recently bought 3 STEAM Cards at Walmart, each loaded with $[redacted] for a total of $[redacted]. Unfortunately, 2 of the cards did not work when I tried to use them, despite the reassurances I received at the store. I am now out $[redacted] and would like a refund. This money belongs to my church, and I'm concerned about the lost funds. I had previously contacted support, but the response was not helpful and then ceased. I am an Evangelist and would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter. Please refund the $[redacted] to me by mailing a check to: Jack Roux, PO Box [redacted], Orange, TX [redacted]. I can provide copies of the cards and receipt if needed. Thank you for your assistance.

I am requesting a refund for a game I purchased. The majority of the time I spent playing was trying to set up a co-op game with a friend. We struggled to figure out how to play together using local or remote play options. We attempted various methods, from using the same computer to trying different devices, which required us to install apps and navigate through help articles with no clear instructions specific to the game. Ultimately, we managed to play through remote play, but the control system was confusing, requiring us to share half a keyboard among multiple computers. This setup was far from ideal for a cooperative gaming experience, which was the main reason we bought the game. Despite having logged more than 2 hours due to troubleshooting and setup challenges, very little actual gameplay occurred. I understand the refund policy is strict about the 2-hour limit, but I hope you can reconsider in light of the obstacles we faced.

Hello, I am encountering an issue with one of my games called "Hunt Showdown." Despite contacting Crytek support, the developer of the game, I have not received a solution. Ever since update 1.00, I have been unable to play on European servers. It has been six months of being unable to access the game in Europe, except for a brief period on Russian servers with high ping. I have played over [redacted] hours since the early access release and experiencing error code 0x20005 when loading matches on European servers. Crytek has not been able to assist me in resolving this issue. I am seeking assistance or possibly a refund, although I understand the limitations due to playing more than 2 hours. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated as I am at a loss for what to do next.

My Steam account has been unexpectedly blocked. Even though I use a mobile authenticator, they claim someone else accessed it. After providing my email and mobile number, my account remains locked. They now want my latest PayPal invoice for Steam purchases and even my home address associated with PayPal, which seems unnecessary. I complied, but my account is still locked. Now they're requesting the first CD key added to my 14-year-old account. With over [redacted] games, I can't recall which one was the first, and I don't keep old CD keys after all these years. This process of asking for different proofs one by one is frustrating, especially as I was looking forward to playing online with my friends today.

I am having difficulty configuring my Thrustmaster T16000M FCS joystick to work with MotoGP [redacted]. After trying different settings in the Steam Controller Panel, only the General Controller Settings recognized my joystick, but I couldn't set key bindings. I attempted to use x360ce_x64, which initially caused issues with my motorcycle leaning left and right in the game. After adjusting some settings in x360ce, the game started crashing after 30 seconds. I have uninstalled both MotoGP [redacted] and x360ce, then reinstalled the game and now I am attempting to use the Steam emulator without success. I have searched for a manual on using the Steam emulator but haven't found any helpful information. Any assistance on how to set up my T16000M FCS controller with MotoGP [redacted] would be greatly appreciated.

I attempted to access my account and realized it had been hacked. After regaining access, I noticed two of my games in my library, Half-Life and Half-Life 2, are now prompting me to buy them despite having previously played them. Half-Life was last played on Aug 21 for [redacted] hours, while Half-Life 2 was played on Apr 13 for 23 hours. How can I recover my games? When trying to retrieve them, I receive an error message stating, "Duplicate CD-Key exists." I am solely interested in recovering my games.

Hello Steam Support,
I recently discovered unauthorized purchases on my Steam account, dating back to October 22, [redacted]. Despite multiple emails requesting to disable Steam Guard, I have not made these requests. I am unable to access my account due to issues with receiving access codes and verification via PayPal.
I am unable to find alternative ways to reach out for help, so I kindly request the immediate cancellation of my Steam account due to a suspected hack. My account username is "hawksley1962" and my email associated with the account is "[redacted]".
This is the second time my account has been compromised, so I urge you to delete all my information from your database once the account is canceled. Please inform me via email once this process is completed.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Richard H.

One of the people on my friends list suddenly messaged me yesterday out of nowhere, asking for a trade in CS:GO. Despite not having spoken to him in over a year and not really knowing him, he persisted in asking to trade items from my inventory. I repeatedly declined, but he became more insistent. When I confronted him, he claimed he was scammed by someone impersonating me and lost around $[redacted]. Now, he and his friends are threatening to report me on my actual account. His username is (Chapu) and mine is (Scorpion8249). He is still contacting me today, pressuring me for trades. If necessary, I can provide chat screenshots. Let me know if you need them by replying to my email.

I recently received a message from a friend I hadn't spoken to in a while, thinking they wanted to catch up and play games. Unfortunately, it wasn't my friend but a hacker who had taken over their account and was targeting everyone on their friends list. I'm not alone in this situation; another Steam friend informed me on Discord that my account had just logged off. The hacker is taking my items, which I'm not overly concerned about, but I am worried about my account information and the games I don't want to lose. My main concern is having my credit card details compromised. The hacker has changed both my password and email, locking me out of my account. I've already contacted Steam support, but it's been over an hour without a response. I'm desperate for assistance, so I'm reaching out here for help.

I'm seeking assistance with redeeming my Steam card purchased for myself. The third-party site claimed all the codes were already used. I kindly request your help in suspending the account of the individual who redeemed my cards. Prior to that, I need details on the time, date, and username associated with the redemption, along with other required proof to address the issue effectively and prevent financial loss.

Hello, my name is Johneyfel Angielon Mercado. I used to play Counter Strike 1.6 but had to stop due to a kidney stone problem. In August [redacted], I discovered CS:GO was released, but I initially wasn't interested as I knew it would consume my time. However, in September [redacted], I created my Steam Account to play CS:GO, and I've invested around [redacted] hours into the game. I have to confess that I've hacked five times, only using walls, and didn't play unfairly. I did get banned for taking on another hacker in a match. I understand hacking is wrong, and I'm asking Valve for a second chance. I promise to play fairly and not use any hacks if my account is unbanned. I've built friendships and learned from playing this game, and I hope Valve considers my appeal. Thank you for creating such a great game. Johneyfel Angielon Mercado, 26, from the Philippines.

My Steam account has been hacked, and I am still waiting for a response from Steam Support. I emailed them yesterday evening but have not received a reply yet. I am feeling upset about this situation. I provided many details about my account and even shared the name of the person who did it along with a link to their profile. A friend informed me that the hacker's name is now on their friend list instead of mine. Moreover, all of my friends have confirmed that I am no longer on their friend lists. Additionally, the person who hacked my account has cheated while using it and now has a VAC status. My friend explained this to me. I really hope that Steam can assist me in recovering my account. Please, please help me.

A person I thought was a friend asked me for my phone password to share some Dota 2 tips, but ended up hijacking my account. My account, warstarsrb, is almost a decade old and I play Dota 2 with many friends on it. I have a screenshot from my phone and I can provide my credit card number to confirm purchases like Company of Heroes 1 and 2. I would appreciate help in recovering my account as it has sentimental pictures of me and my brother. I made a mistake thinking I was helping a friend, but now I need assistance in getting my account back.

I'm facing two issues currently. The first one involves borrowing items from my friend on CSGO. When I tried to return the items via trade offer, they vanished from both our inventories. Upon checking the trade history, I discovered the items were sent to a different user named "Mixox" than the one I intended to trade with. This happened again when I attempted to trade back the items to the correct user, but they were instead accepted by a different individual without my consent.
Another problem arose on Saturday, November 16th, while trading skins with a friend. The trade offer was automatically declined and redirected to an unauthorized account. I have screenshots of all these transactions and accounts for verification purposes.
I urgently need assistance with these issues as approximately $[redacted] worth of items were involved in trades that I did not authorize or execute. I'm confident that Steam can trace these items if necessary.
Best regards,
Erik

I recently bought the Borderlands 2 Game of the Year edition and am missing several DLCs that do not appear on my list. I can access and have installed some DLCs, such as Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty, Collector's Edition Pack, Creature Dome, Mechromancer Pack, and others. However, I cannot access or see as purchased on Steam the following DLCs, like Collectors Edition for OSX, Season Pass, Gunzerker Greasy Grunt Pack, and many others even though they are listed under "DLC you own" in the game. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, my name is Robert R. I recently bought seven $[redacted] Steam cards from Walmart - two from a cash register and five from self-checkout. Unfortunately, none of them were activated, and Walmart has not been helpful in resolving this issue. I spent $[redacted] on these cards, and I need someone to address this matter promptly. If this matter is not resolved, I will share my experience on Steam and advise others to avoid purchasing from Walmart. It is unacceptable to purchase a product and not receive the proper support. I am unwilling to let $[redacted] go to waste. You can reach me at [redacted]. I hope to hear from someone soon to resolve this problem. I have the receipts and the cards with the codes.
