I mistakenly shared my username and password with someone, and they used it to delete my Steam account. Now, when I try to recover it by entering my email, it shows my other account "haneulvenus" instead of "haneulvenus1." I am unable to access my deleted account to change the password. Additionally, when I attempt to log in with "haneulvenus1" and my previous password, it indicates an error or lockout.

Earlier today, a stranger reached out to express interest in an item from my inventory. Initially, I didn't think much of it and engaged in conversation, but as time passed, I began to feel uneasy about the situation. When I decided to back out, the individual reacted angrily and threatened to have my account banned by involving a large group they claimed to be a part of. Despite my caution to avoid a potential scam, I find myself banned due to an influx of scam reports, leading to the sudden VAC ban on my account. I am bewildered by these events as I am confident that I have not engaged in any wrongdoing. I possess a screenshot of our conversation where the threat was explicitly made, but now I am left anxious and unsure of what steps to take next.

In my earlier report about the scam involving the bot that scammed my items, I had genuine intentions of helping someone, yet I fell victim to deception. It was my mistake to trust the legitimacy of the website and now I find myself deeply regretting my actions. The items I cherished, which were a significant part of my online presence, are now gone due to manipulation. This experience has shaken my trust in the community and left me questioning my desire to continue playing TF2 and using Steam. I bear full responsibility for the outcome and understand the complexities of restoring traded items. Is there any possibility, even if it means rendering them non-tradable or unmarketable, to retrieve and safeguard my lost items? I am in a state of despair and willing to explore all options to reclaim them.

After the latest update I performed on Remnant from the Ashes, my character got deleted. This particular character had accumulated over 45 hours of game time. I was taken aback by this incident. I attempted various troubleshooting steps like uninstalling and reinstalling the game, repairing files, creating a new character, and logging in and out, but none of them resolved the issue. Disappointed, I turned to online searches and forums where I discovered multiple users facing the same predicament. Sadly, no solutions were found. The responses from both Steam and Perfect World International were unsatisfactory. Consequently, I am seeking a full refund due to the inexcusable loss of progress and the lack of effective support. The process to obtain a refund or compensation shouldn't be this burdensome, and the poor customer service experience is disheartening. I have reached out via the provided number and am anticipating a return call.

I recently updated my Steam client and I am very dissatisfied with the changes. The new layout is confusing and cluttered, resembling other unpopular clients like Origin and Uplay. I have searched online for a way to revert to the previous version but have been unsuccessful. My list of installed games now includes every game I have ever played, making it difficult to navigate. Additionally, my favorite games have not transferred over, and the games I had installed are no longer showing as installed. I would greatly appreciate it if an older version of the client could be provided to me as I did not consent to or desire this automatic update.

I purchased three $50 gift cards for my nephew at CVS three days ago. When I tried to redeem the cards on his Steam account, there were no funds available. I have the receipt for the purchase. I went back to the store for help, but they advised me to contact customer service. They mentioned that the money might have been already used. I only scratched off the codes last night when I visited him. This is my first experience with this company, and I am disappointed that the cards did not work. I am hoping to get a refund as this situation has been quite frustrating.

While enjoying a game of Destiny 2 in Crucible, I was dedicated to farming Chocolate coins and working on my Jade Rabbit catalyst. Suddenly, I encountered an issue that led to me being disconnected from the game. I recently purchased Shadowkeep and can provide confirmation if necessary. I believe I should be at around tier 33 in the Season of Undying. The account name is drag0nb0nel0rd, with the in-game name Drag0n featuring the D2 throwing knife symbol and headshot symbol. The email associated with the account was [redacted] before the unfortunate hacking incident.

I recently got a new laptop and installed the game Deus Ex The Game of the Year Edition from my existing Steam account. However, when I try to play the game, it blinks out and shows as running, but I can't see it actually running. I have tried reinstalling the game, but the issue persists. I paid $9.99 for it and really want to play it.

Yesterday, I reported that my son's Steam account was hacked and stolen. Despite my son and partner's efforts to identify the possible hacker, access to the account remains blocked as the email and password were changed. It's frustrating to see significant funds spent on the account taken without Steam's intervention in recovering it. I have involved the police to create a crime report due to the theft. The account username is metel35, initially linked to [redacted], and later changed to [redacted] by the hacker. We suspect the account may have been sold to someone in Russia with the username bOot. They have been altering the account credentials, which leads us to believe they have sold it further. I trust this information will be sufficient for Steam to assist in reclaiming my son's account. Please reach out to me promptly via [redacted] or [redacted]5. I am willing to provide any additional details necessary to ensure justice is served and prevent such crimes against minors. Thank you, Kerry F., an upset mother of a distressed teenager.

I posted this issue on the Steam community seeking assistance. Lately, I encountered a problem when trying to verify my card on Steam. Once I click 'begin verification,' I receive an error message stating I may have failed some authorizations and to contact my bank. After informing my bank about the issue, they suggested it might be due to a visa credit restriction, but that wasn't the case. Upon investigation, I discovered Steam attempted to charge £1.07 multiple times from my account, which I assume is for the verification process, as I clicked 'begin verification' several times. Additionally, Steam already debited £1.08 from my account for unknown reasons. I need to reach out to Steam to resolve this matter. I am aware that Steam no longer has a ticket system, and I am unable to find a way to contact them. Any assistance in resolving this would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Scott B. I am a high school teacher and unfortunately fell victim to a scam today. An individual posing as my high school principal, with a similar last name, misled me into sending 5-$[redacted].00 gift cards under false pretenses. The scammer utilized an email address that closely resembled my principal's, but upon scrutiny, I noticed a slight variation in one letter. Initially, I sent pictures of the scratched gift cards to the imposter believing it was the principal. However, I grew suspicious when the scammer persistently requested more pictures claiming not to have received them. Although the cards remain unused, they cannot be refunded at the local Game Stop in Waynesboro, VA due to their scratched condition. I have been advised to reach out to STEAM for further assistance. Can someone offer guidance on how to proceed with this situation?

Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by Steam Games. On 3-11-[redacted], I received a notification regarding a payment made to Steam Games. I anticipate your prompt response and a satisfactory resolution to this matter before 15-11-[redacted], or else I will have to seek assistance from consumer protection services. Hello, I hope you are well. I am writing on behalf of my brother, whose account has been locked. We spoke with your support team and were informed that the only way to unlock it was by providing the first email address used to create the account. I originally created the account and then transferred it to him, but over time we have both created multiple email addresses. The support representative advised us to create a new account, but this is difficult for us as my brother has invested a significant amount of time and money into his current account. We have Steam wallet codes, CD keys for games, Uplay credentials linked to the account, and matching IDs with the credit card information used. We kindly request your assistance in addressing this issue. Thank you for your attention. Best regards, Ryan.

I was contacted by someone claiming to be an employee of Apple.com. They said I had four hackers on my iPhone that needed to be removed at a cost of $[redacted] each. I was instructed to buy Steam gift cards totaling $[redacted] from Walmart, which I did. After giving them the card information, the caller hung up when I mentioned a third card. I tried calling back multiple times but kept reaching voicemail. I contacted Apple technical support, who confirmed it was a phishing scam. My claim with Wells Fargo was denied, and I was advised to seek help from Walmart. Walmart refused to refund the money. I reported the scam to Wells Fargo and Apple but have not received a response. The Steam card website couldn't assist either. I am now in financial distress, -$[redacted] in my account, unable to pay bills or buy essentials for my child. I am in urgent need of assistance.

In CS:GO, there are challenges and rewards like the P250 Beast or the AK-47 1,[redacted] kills challenge. Recently, I encountered a challenge called "God of War" for reaching 10,[redacted] kills overall in the game. However, I found it unsettling as it reminded me of mortality and the fact that I'm just a person. I would like this challenge removed from my Steam profile. The accounts where this challenge is visible are Menbuncsgo2, Francescosch, and 0lti1. I would appreciate it if this challenge could be taken off these accounts.

I require assistance regarding my son's Steam account, which I suspect has been hacked. Although the password hasn't been compromised, it seems the account's email address has been altered, preventing a password reset. This is worrisome as card information was used for Steam purchases before. I've attempted contacting Steam through the provided number without success and need help from someone experienced with this type of fraud. My son has owned the account for about 2 years, acquiring numerous paid items and game statistics. Swift action is crucial in this situation. I've already reset the email password and scanned for malware, but I believe the issue lies in the deliberate change of the associated email address. My son is locked out without insight into where the emails are going now. Please contact me at [redacted] or my Wife at [redacted] to address this matter promptly.

Subject: Issue with PUBG Account Ban To the Steam support team, Yesterday around 10 a.m., my PUBG account was compromised by an individual who used cheating software. Later that night, I was notified that my account received a VAC ban. Today, upon changing my password and logging in, I discovered that my PUBG account has been permanently banned. I acknowledge my responsibility to safeguard my account, but I am disheartened by this situation. The efforts I invested seem wasted due to someone else's actions. I am eager to regain access to my PUBG account. I urge you to examine the account login history. By reviewing the IP address associated with the cheating software user, you will see that it was not me. My gaming record is free of any unfair practices, and I seek your assistance in reclaiming my account. I recently made in-game purchases and am committed to maintaining the integrity of my account. I implore you to assist me in resolving this matter promptly. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Warm regards.

I recently received a suspicious message regarding an achievement in American Truck Simulator. The person who messaged me could not communicate well in English and requested to add someone named Valve-Assistance#[redacted] on Discord. Feeling cautious, I asked for verification by questioning my birthdate, a detail only genuine staff should know from my Steam account. I received no response for hours. When the person video called me, the location showed as "Hong Kong," raising more red flags. As a result, I am concerned and wish for this matter to be looked into promptly. My Steam username is "owenbro112121," and I am currently unable to access my account. Thank you for your attention to this.

I recently submitted a ticket via help.steampowered.etc regarding an issue I am experiencing. Despite the urgent 2-week refund deadline, I am reaching out for help. The case ID is HT-DBWG-93TH-X34D, which can provide more specifics like PayPal transaction amounts and invoice IDs. I made purchases in the mobile app game Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links through the Steam launcher. While trying to link my account to the Konami account, the "data transfer" feature mistakenly moved my progress to this new account, erasing my original progress with minimal playtime and in-game purchases. I've contacted both Konami and Steam support without success and came across gethuman.com in my search for assistance. I'm hoping to find a way to speak with a representative and explain my unique situation, as it doesn't align with the standard support options available. Thank you, Edward Maynard
