I purchased two $50 gift cards at a 7-Eleven fuel station. After redeeming them on my Stream account, I realized I don't need them. I tried to get a refund at the store, but the manager said it wasn't possible and advised me to contact you for assistance. I would like to request a refund of $[redacted] back to my debit card since only your team can facilitate this. Thank you.

I have contacted Steam support multiple times, but they refuse to acknowledge that it's not my fault.
I had a very expensive knife in my inventory that was stolen. I have Steam Guard and email security enabled, so how could a stranger gain access and trade on my account without any confirmation from me? This is not my mistake if your provided security is not robust enough to keep out unauthorized individuals. I have already stated that this is my final request for a replacement of my knife. If not, I will involve my lawyer as this involves around €[redacted], which is a serious theft, and I am not concerned about your terms and conditions. At the time of the trade, I was not even near my PC, let alone on Steam.

A stranger easily accessed my account and stole my knife worth [redacted]€ while I was at work! It is unacceptable for someone to take such a valuable item without my permission. Even though Steam claims they won't replace it due to their security software SteamGuard having flaws, I have politely requested a replacement. If not, my lawyer will handle this matter. A theft of [redacted]€ is serious, and I was not even using my PC or on Steam when the theft occurred, so I am determined to pursue this matter further.

A person named Stormy approached me to trade his MK Arcana for my items. He requested verification of the trade through a supposed Steam developer named Jurboayis. This individual asked for additional items and insisted on a $50-[redacted] transaction. Due to my financial constraints, I could only offer [redacted] INR and declined further involvement. Despite my requests, they persistently pressured me for more money and access to my email password. I have evidence of our conversations and seek assistance in retrieving my items promptly. Please help me reclaim my belongings or take action against the harassing account. Thank you.

There is a plugin available on the Unreal Marketplace called Uworks, offering complete Steamworks integration for both C++ and Blueprint (BP). The current author has not updated the plugin for Unreal Engine version 4.23, despite the engine's release on September 4th. There have been unanswered questions on the plugin page regarding the update. You are considering developing a Uworks plugin with enhanced functionality for engine version 4.23. You may wonder if you need Steam's approval to submit this new plugin for approval on the Unreal Marketplace.

Hello, I am Alex T.
Recently, my account was flagged for having "duped items" by a user called [SAC]offers, who is a friend of mine. He claimed it was a mistake and he reported the wrong person. I was instructed to contact a Steam user whose name I don't recall. While following his guidance on how to scan my account, he began using offensive language and threatened to delete my account. As I became confused about the process, he proceeded to delete my account, leaving me uncertain about what steps to take next.
I am seeking assistance and support as I am unsure why this occurred or what mistake I made, as no explanation was provided. The threatening behavior was disrespectful and made me feel anxious about proceeding further.
Please reach out to me via the email address I have provided below.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to address my concerns about a recent issue with a Steam Card. It seems that I may have fallen victim to a scam involving a company posing as a virtual assistant opportunity. During their interview process, they insisted I purchase a $[redacted] gift card to proceed, and regrettably, I complied.
After discovering information about such scams online, I am eager to assist in any investigations to prevent others from being deceived. I have saved photos of my conversations with the fraudulent hiring manager for documentation. Should you require further details or wish to forward this matter to your fraud department, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Thank you for your attention.
Sincerely,
Angelica

Hello, I am Robyn from New South Wales, Australia. I received a call yesterday from a man claiming to be from Telstra. He stated that my bank account had been hacked and needed fixing. He transferred $1,[redacted] into my account, supposedly from Telstra, and asked me to purchase $1,[redacted] worth of Steam gift cards from a 7-Eleven petrol station to resolve the issue. Inexperienced in online gaming, I only bought 2 $50 cards as I didn't know my PIN to buy more. The caller pressured me to get the cards immediately and asked me to go to the post office. Sensing a scam, I refused, called the police, and informed my bank, which froze my account. Unfortunately, the scammer had already transferred the $1,[redacted] from my housing payment account. I feel foolish. Could someone please cancel the 2 cards with the codes: GMDD2-K8H3B-HFDC2 and 8E3EF-3AJYF-CL27K.

After playing CS:GO for a while, I came across an announcement promising free skins as compensation for server issues. The message directed me to a link, freex-skinsx.gq, where I could choose a skin. Upon signing in and authorizing, I encountered an error. Later, I received an email confirming an email change to an unfamiliar address starting with 'R' from a location in Moscow, Russia (46.8.[redacted].[redacted]), despite living in Alaska. My username is pattymcd907, but my password and email were altered. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

While watching videos on my computer, I suddenly found myself logged out of my Steam account. Somehow, an unauthorized person gained access and changed both my email and password. Oddly, they switched it to a Russian email, despite the fact that I reside in Mexico as indicated on the account. Regrettably, I have lost complete control of the account. I took immediate action to secure it by locking it, preventing the hacker from using it further. To address this issue, I created a new account to report the incident. I provided details in the report, including my old associated email. I am keen on recovering my account or, at the very least, restoring my lost purchases. I eagerly await your prompt response. Enclosed is the email associated with the compromised account. Thank you and have a wonderful day or night.

I am trying to regain access to my son's account as the password and email have been changed. I have responded to your emails and provided images to prove ownership of the account. I also conducted a search based on the IP address you supplied. However, I am confused as to why there has been a lack of response from your end, aside from automated messages stating that you will not be reaching out about this matter again. I have sent detailed emails with evidence of ownership, and it is frustrating not receiving a helpful response. Please review the emails I have sent and the attached documents.

Hello Steam Customer Support,
I am writing to report unauthorized transactions made on my Absa and FNB accounts for purchases on steamgames.com. The Absa account under B. Wilkens shows two unauthorized charges of R60 each on 20/10/[redacted]. The FNB account under E. Swart displays unauthorized charges on the same date as follows: R60, R120, R300, and R1200.
I kindly request a refund for these amounts, and I urge Steam to cooperate by providing me with the necessary information about the account holders involved in these unauthorized transactions. I intend to escalate this matter to the authorities. Please provide urgent assistance, and I am willing to share the bank statements as proof. Kindly provide an email address for me to forward the necessary documents.
Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Brenda

I have been attempting to request a refund for Destiny 2's DLC, Shadowkeep. The DLC cost $34.99 and came bundled with the $10 Season of the Undying pass, which I wish to retain while refunding the DLC. Despite meeting the criteria for a refund, having played for less than seven hours since purchasing the DLC and wanting to refund it after six hours of gameplay, I have been unsuccessful. The refund policy states that DLC bought on Steam can be refunded within fourteen days of purchase, provided the underlying game has been played for less than two hours post-DLC purchase. I am seeking a $25 refund for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

After purchasing the game, I encountered connectivity issues that continue to persist. Unfortunately, being in China now complicates the situation. Steam is refusing to provide a refund due to their perception that my attempts to fix the problem were actual gameplay minutes. Even though I didn't play Rainbow 6: Siege for more than 2 hours and reached out to Uplay support within 48 hours of purchase, explaining the extended troubleshooting time needed, my refund request has been rejected. It seems like a misunderstanding as it appears my circumstances align with their refund policy criteria. I feel frustrated that my request isn’t being examined by a human reviewer, and I simply seek assistance with this matter.

Hello, I wanted to share my recent experience on eBay. I was selling perfume, and a potential buyer from America expressed interest in purchasing the perfume as a gift for his nephew in the UK. He proposed adding Steam gift cards to the purchase, offering an extra £[redacted] for delivery. Sensing a possible scam, I requested payment upfront. The buyer agreed to send the payment after I provided pictures of the back of the Steam cards post-purchase. I received an email from PayPal confirming the payment, so I shared the card details. Unfortunately, the buyer stopped responding, and I discovered the email notification was fraudulent. The buyer obtained £[redacted] worth of Steam cards while I ended up with nothing. I have evidence of our communication and the fake email. I hope for a resolution given the significant sum involved. Thank you for your attention. - Muhammad

I bought two $50 Steam cards from carddelivery.com on 10/22/[redacted]. Unfortunately, my friend couldn't redeem them due to 'Invalid codes'. I've reached out to Carddelivery.com twice but they refuse to replace the cards or refund me. I ended up buying another $[redacted] card for my friend. I would appreciate a refund for these cards, but any assistance is welcome. The codes on the cards are 7LKX73NE3993 and 58H7P6NQKNCN. I have ecard copies available if necessary.

My account username, ChiAckerman121, was hacked. The initial email where I stored the CD keys was compromised. Even though I have over [redacted] purchase proofs, including CD keys and wallet codes, Steam Support is not assisting as they claim I am not the original account creator due to the hacked email on VFEmail. I can verify the initial deposit via bank transaction and provide details for the purchase of 20+ CD keys and 30+ wallet codes on the account. I possess numerous emails from Steam documenting purchases and sales, but I am still seeking help from Steam Support. Can someone please assist me?

Unfortunately, the cards have been redeemed, and I need refunds totaling $[redacted].00 to be credited back to my American Express card, with the remaining $[redacted] paid in cash to also be refunded to the same card. Gamestop advised me to contact Steam gift card customer service for a refund, as they were unable to help with this issue.

On October 19, I attempted to delete the game Zoo Tycoon Ultimate Animal Collection. Instead of deleting, I opted for a refund, assuming there was a refund policy in place. On the same day, I purchased Tropico 6 but found it unenjoyable after attempting the tutorials and playing the game. I requested a refund but was denied for both Zoo Tycoon and Tropico 6 because I played each for more than two hours. I tried Tropico 6 for four hours due to lengthy tutorials, hoping to give it a fair chance. Despite my disappointment in the company's refund policy, I pre-ordered Planet Zoo which I later refunded. I find it frustrating that there is no customer service number available for Steam products to discuss these issues. If I don't receive a refund for Tropico 6, I will stop purchasing products from Steam in the future. Your understanding and cooperation in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I've been scammed, and I have all the original recovery codes. I really need help. I have all the original email and phone number information. I was deceived because the scammer claimed to have a legal license from Steam. Unfortunately, I didn't realize Steam had its own Discord, and I fell for it. I acknowledge my mistake and hope Steam can assist me in recovering my account as the scammer from Thailand changed my password and I can no longer access my mobile Steam account. The scammer asked me to add his Discord, named "Steam Valve," and requested me to buy TF2 keys to prevent my account from being banned. Despite no one reporting this type of scam on Reddit, I am fortunate I didn't purchase anything for the scammer, but I did lose access to my account. I've put a lot of time into my Steam account and would appreciate any help in resolving this issue.
