I fell victim to a scam where I agreed to trade my Huntsman Knife Fade for $[redacted] with another user. Despite having photo evidence of our agreement and the transaction, I was blocked by the other user after the exchange was made over Discord. I am aware that Steam typically does not reverse item trades, but CSGO does have a one-week trade ban policy that could potentially prevent further issues if action is taken promptly. I am prepared to provide all documentation to support my claim, including screenshots showing our agreement and the current ownership of the item. Sincerely, A.H.

I've updated my password multiple times on my Steam account, but I'm still unable to log in. Despite receiving and using the verification code sent to my phone, changing the password seems to have no effect on the Steam application. Moreover, when I attempted to contact support over the phone, I was informed that Steam issues are not addressed via phone calls. This lack of direct assistance is quite frustrating. I have been a loyal customer, investing a significant amount with Steam. However, this ongoing issue is causing me to reconsider my future purchases with them as there are many other reputable alternatives available.

I have submitted multiple support requests for refunds of the funds in my Steam Wallet. I tried to use the money to purchase the Valve Index VR Kit, but the funds are in a separate account. I need the refunds so I can order the kit when my reserved spot becomes available in just six days. Support refund Tickets: HT-FYR5-P9G4-6P6D, HT-537G-2MP9-JRGG, HT-3RKM-4BMM-JRMG, HT-F3HD-YG4P-7W8P, HT-5NP3-7TGJ-WBG9, HT-QWRK-F3NM-RQ8R, HT-QYPF-MHQJ-X5R9, HT-542X-BQ7K-7YQ8, HT-55KM-3Q84-94K6, HT-3XGJ-KPD4-D7YQ, HT-QNVG-XRF9-7XT3, HT-QTH6-5WGT-6TQM, HT-5QC8-RJJT-9NF5. These requests were initiated to refund the money I had planned to use for the Valve Index VR kit. It's frustrating to have my requests denied when I can't use the money for the intended purchase. I kindly ask for a review of my situation.

I had £40 in my account and decided to buy R6S for a friend. He didn't enjoy the game, prefers Warframe, and finds it too big. He suggested a refund since he feels it was a waste of money. This is my final attempt at a refund after two failed tries. I'm hoping for a refund as the playtime is only slightly over 2 hours. I've tried to get a refund three times already, all rejected due to exceeding playtime, although I've successfully refunded games with over 2 hours in the past. Not sure why this is happening; maybe due to recent refunds. I'd like to understand this better before the 14-day limit. I've reached out to Steam support for assistance. Thanks.

I recently purchased a new game and while playing it, I noticed that my account password was changed. As I investigated further, I discovered that my phone number, two-factor authentication, and email address were removed. The password was also changed. I found out that my email was now linked to an IP address in Russia (5.[redacted].[redacted].80) after looking up the RU code. I am feeling very stressed and concerned about this situation. I am only 14 years old and not sure what steps to take next. Your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was playing Warframe not long ago, and I even purchased [redacted] platinum to enhance my game progress. After shutting down my laptop, I returned to find I had to sign in to Steam again, which seemed strange. Upon signing in, I was shocked to see that Warframe was no longer installed. I had been playing it just 20 minutes earlier, and the system even mentioned I had existing files on the computer before it started allocating disk space. This is perplexing as it's the only game I've been playing regularly for the past month and a half. My laptop was with me the whole time, so no one tampered with it, and I'm certain I didn't uninstall it. I'm really puzzled by what happened in such a short span of time. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

I recently made a purchase during the summer sale, spending approximately £50, but it hasn't increased my Grand Prix maximum. There seems to be an issue with collecting points from achievements, as while it visually shows a max of 1k, I can only redeem [redacted] points per day. The problem appeared to be fixed after my purchase yesterday, but the visuals haven't updated, and today it's back to the previous broken state. I haven't received a boosted maximum from the 'qualifier' quests, and there are quest problems in games. Three days ago (28/6/19), I played tf2 for about 4 hours, earning over [redacted] points across three games, but this hasn't been registered. The same goes for quests in other games. My account name is macatron9000, and my current user name is Pope with a dog picture.

Last Friday, I received a call from Quick Computer Support LLC in Arizona stating they found 42 viruses on my computer. They recommended purchasing 4 $[redacted] Steam cards to remove the viruses, assuring me Steam would refund the amount. Despite my hesitation, I proceeded as my computer was slow. After providing the card numbers, only 20 viruses were removed, and they requested 5 more cards. Insisting on a confirmation from Steam, I eventually bought $[redacted] more in cards. While some improvement was noted, I questioned the legitimacy of the process after a call to clean my iPad. Worried about being scammed, I am now awaiting the reimbursement from Steam, uncertain of my next steps.

I purchased ARMA3 and its APEX, TANKS, and CARTS DLCs during the summer sale. The game did not meet my expectations, so I requested a refund. Unfortunately, my refund request was denied citing the playtime. The playtime calculation is inaccurate due to the ARMA launcher counting as playtime instead of the actual game time. Even after exiting the game, the launcher continued running in the background, accumulating hours. The displayed playtime does not reflect the true amount. My Steam achievements show only 3, with minimal playtime in the tutorial. Additionally, none of the DLC content has been utilized, resulting in zero playtime. Multiplayer was limited to infantry only, so TANKS, CARTS, and APEX content were untouched. Refunds for DLCs were also refused based on playtime, yet there is no evidence of their usage; I can confirm that none of the DLC content was utilized. The DLC playtime is zero, making a valid refund request, as the game playtime is significantly less than the launcher idle time.

I used my Steam wallet to buy an item during the summer sales event in the game Warface. Steam confirmed the payment, but Warface claims they didn't receive it and can't assist me. Steam suggests I contact the game developer for help, while Warface suggests contacting Steam for a refund since the payment was processed through them. I haven't received the item, so I'm requesting a refund. Warface's comments indicate they didn't receive the payment and advise contacting Steam for a resolution.

I am William Storch. I bought two $[redacted] loadable Steam Wallet cards from HEB for my kids, but they couldn't redeem them. Even the store couldn't scan the cards. It has been over 48 hours and the cards still don't work. I am 64 years old and don't have a Steam account. I just want to get the $[redacted] back to buy new ones for my kids who live in another town. I have the cards and receipt. I had to buy four $50 cards to replace them. I tried checking the balance online, but it just shows an error without further details. I am stuck with no solution at the moment.

Hello, I'm Jon. I need to address an issue with our shared Steam account. Previously, we could play games like Ark Survival Evolved, Atlas, Atomega, Monopoly Plus, Terraria, and Terratech online without any problems. However, suddenly we are unable to access the online features for these games, making multiplayer mode inaccessible. I would like a refund for these games so we can start fresh with a new Steam account and repurchase the games to regain online access. If it's possible, it would be great to transfer all the games to a new account. I hope we can resolve this quickly. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

Two days ago while playing an online match of Rocket League, I experienced a disconnection. Concerned, I checked my Steam interface by pressing shift+tab only to find that everything, including my messages, appeared disconnected. I then switched to my desktop and was greeted with a Steam prompt requesting my password without needing my username. Despite repeated attempts to enter my password, it was unsuccessful. Upon exiting Steam, another prompt appeared asking me to re-enter my details, this time including my username. Even after correctly entering all the information, I still couldn't access my account. Resorting to logging into my alternate account, I managed to sign in without any problems. However, when I tried accessing my main account again, I received an error indicating that my credentials had been modified. Concerned about a potential hack, I'm unsure of the next steps to take.

Hello. Today, my Steam account with the username tad50th was hacked. I have been attempting to reset my password on Steam, but the system is sending the verification emails to the hacked email address rather than my own, which seems to be a Gmail account. This has prevented me from reclaiming my Steam account along with all the games associated with it. I have taken the step to change the password for my email provider, but unfortunately, my Steam account still remains linked to the hacker, leaving me unable to take any action. I would greatly appreciate urgent assistance. Please respond to my alternative contact email provided below. Thank you, Terry.

Hello GetHuman, I previously requested a refund for the game "Monster Hunter World" and received a computer-generated response that did not address the issues I mentioned in my message. The game was not enjoyable for my son and me as it ran poorly on our computer, leading to lagging graphics and overall dissatisfaction. I understand the refund policy is for games played under 2 hours, and although it shows we played 4 hours, our actual gameplay was only around 56 minutes due to a family emergency that interrupted our session. Despite this, Steam refused our refund based solely on numerical data and automated messages. I hope this message reaches a human representative who can understand our situation and respond accordingly, as we value Steam's service and have been long-time users. While I appreciate Steam's usual excellent service, this instance of automated responses has been disappointing. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this matter to continue our positive experience with Steam. Thank you and have a pleasant day. George N.

I haven't played games in a while. Today, when I tried to log in to play, I couldn't get in. The error message kept saying my user ID or password was incorrect. I have always used RafterRat as my user ID, so it must be an issue with the password. I keep receiving codes to reset my password, and upon changing it, I get an email confirming the change was successful. However, when I try to log in again, I still can't access my account. This keeps happening repeatedly, and I am currently unable to log in.

I am having trouble logging into my Steam account as I have forgotten my password and no longer have access to the Steam mobile authenticator since I broke and sold my phone. I am unable to reset my password through Steam support due to receiving generic responses from their bots. I have my Steam account recovery code written down, but I haven't purchased Steam wallet cards in several years and no longer have them. I do not use a credit card for my Steam purchases. Any help in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I recently tried logging into my Steam account and realized my password was deemed incorrect, even though it was accurate. Upon attempting to recover my password using Steam's options, I discovered my email had been changed to a Russian email address ending in @m***.r* which is typically associated with hackers. This is the first time this has happened in the 2 years I've had my Steam account. Unfortunately, my recovery attempts have been unsuccessful, and my account is now locked. I am extremely worried, especially since my account stored my credit card information. I am reaching out to seek assistance in recovering my Steam account. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated. Sincerely, Rohit M

I am experiencing a Steam Fatal Error. I followed advice to opt into the beta to help download my purchased games, but this action caused Steam to stop working. Now, I receive a message saying "Steam needs to be connected to the internet to update." Despite trying various solutions found online over the past week, nothing has resolved the issue. I am frustrated by the lack of customer support from Steam and the absence of relevant information on their website. It seems there are no current solutions for this problem in their resources. I am concerned about this issue impacting their business. I hope Steam can provide assistance and address this promptly.

I don't understand how my account got banned. I was trying to send my son a knife skin for CS:GO. While using the authentication app, it detected a similarity between someone's ID and my son's, causing me to cancel the transaction. Upon trying again, the same message appeared. When I attempted to cancel the trade, the app froze and displayed an error message. Upon retrying to send the knife, I noticed it had vanished from my inventory. It seems it was mistakenly sent to a bot account located in Albania, leading to my ban. The knife is now in the bot's inventory, leaving me without it, denying my son the knife, and seeking unbanning due to an unknown error.
