I attempted to purchase Black Desert Online cash through PayPal on Steam. However, I encountered an issue where I was unable to review my purchase before finalizing it despite Steam's indication otherwise. My discover card was mistakenly charged twice, although both charges were declined. Strangely, Steam credited my account as if the charges had gone through. I then attempted a third time to pay with my debit card and managed to log into my PayPal account and change the payment method. Unfortunately, without my authorization, Steam charged my bank account which resulted in overdraft fees totaling $[redacted]. I am seeking a refund for the two unauthorized charges of over $30 each, as well as the associated overdraft fees.

I purchased an Eraser P6679 laptop for my son for Christmas along with a Steam voucher. He used the voucher to buy games on Steam, but when he tries to open the games, the app only flickers green and won't launch. This is really frustrating for him, and he's unable to play the games he bought. We've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, but the issue persists. I even attempted to call for help, but the number provided is not recognized. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

We have a €50 Steam gift card. After setting up a Steam account and attempting to use the credit, we found it missing from the wallet. Despite multiple attempts to input the card information, the credit isn't registering. We are now being asked for our address for potential sales tax collection, which seems unnecessary since the credit was purchased in Ireland, and our account reflects our Irish residency. Steam’s request for our address raises concerns, as there should be no reason for this information to use our credit or apply taxes. We simply want to enjoy our gaming credit without unnecessary steps. Thank you for any assistance.

I am writing to request a refund for the game "Just Cause 4" due to significant technical issues. Despite meeting the system requirements, my computer struggled to handle the game, resulting in severe frame drops and an unplayable experience. Even after multiple reboots of both my computer and Steam, the issues persisted, with the game displaying erratic colors and severe lagging. I have attached a video of the gameplay to illustrate the problems faced. Despite spending over 3 hours trying to resolve the issues, I was unable to enjoy the game as intended. Therefore, I am requesting a full refund of $55.64 USD to be credited to my Steam wallet. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Today, my friend sent me a link, urging me to click on it. I complied to avoid upsetting him, but he sent it repeatedly. I proceeded to log into Steam through that link. Soon after, my email, password, and phone number were altered on the account, and now I am unable to regain access. The email I was using before the unauthorized change was [redacted] For safety, I am providing a different contact email. The individual who took over the account has the email name [redacted] and I also have their IP address - 91.[redacted].91.80. The last two digits of their phone number are 24. My phone number associated with the account was [redacted], but the last two digits are not 24. I am seeking assistance to recover my account along with the games on it. Thank you.

I had been considering purchasing "The Witcher 3" for some time, and I finally made the decision during the Steam sale when it was fifty percent off at twenty dollars. Although I thought it included DLC, there was no mention of it. After recommending the game to a friend who ended up buying it with DLC, I realized there was a GOTY edition of the game for the same price, which included the DLC. Feeling a bit foolish after playing for 13 hours, I tried to refund the game with a message explaining the situation. Unfortunately, I received a robotic response stating I had surpassed the refund policy's two-hour limit. I acknowledge that I played more than the allowed time for a refund, but I kindly request reconsideration to exchange for the GOTY edition instead. I regret my impulsive choice and would be grateful for any assistance you could provide in rectifying this situation. Thank you, Conner

I received a defective gift card with an illegible code due to the rub-off strip being damaged. I need my $50 credit to make a purchase on the Steam website. I've tried emailing a scan of the card to Steam support, but I keep getting error messages. The scan is not too large to email. I hope Steam can address this issue with their gift cards not working properly. I have never encountered this problem with any other gift cards before. In the future, I will request a VISA or another card that functions correctly. A few years back, I had a $25 gift card issue with Steam where they received their $25 but I received nothing because I couldn't reach Steam to resolve the problem.

I bought Battlefield 2: Bad Company last night, but I'm having trouble registering the game with the numbers provided. This issue is also happening with Battlefield 2: Vietnam and the regular Battlefield 2 that I've owned for a while. I've spent hours trying different solutions, like resetting my password and creating a new account, but nothing has worked. I can log in, but the game won't accept the registration numbers. I'm frustrated by this recurring problem with EA games, especially since I own [redacted] games on Steam that work fine. I'm reaching out for help as I'm eager to play these four Battlefield games from EA. Thank you for assisting me.

I recently purchased Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition, but after playing it, I realized it didn't differ much from the original game I already own. As a father of two toddlers under three years old, I had to step away from the game multiple times, which resulted in over 4 hours of playtime. I understand there's a 2-hour cut-off for refunds, but given my circumstances, I hope you can make an exception. I also purchased a DLC that I haven't played and would appreciate a refund, as I have a limited budget for games each year and want to invest in titles I will enjoy. Thank you for considering my request.

I traded some items to a friend before leaving for a while. However, during the trade, another account with the same name as my friend appeared, and I unknowingly traded the items to the wrong account. By the time I realized the mistake and tried to cancel, it was too late. Sadly, over $[redacted] worth of csgo skins were stolen from me. I am devastated by this incident. I understand the policy does not allow for the return of lost items, but I kindly request for the stolen skins to be removed from the account that took them. Thank you for your assistance; I just want this situation to be resolved.

I would like to bring to the attention of the Valve staff that I have been unjustly issued a VAC ban. Approximately a week ago, during a competitive game of Counter Strike: Global Offensive, I unexpectedly received a VAC disconnection message, preventing me from playing on secure servers. I have never utilized any hacks or cheats on my computer, so I was baffled by this action. Despite attempting to resolve the issue by rejoining the server, restarting my system, and verifying game files, the problem persisted. Subsequently, when creating a private match for myself and friends using a Steam community workshop map to pass the time during my thirty-minute ban, I found myself banned once more, despite the game being private. I sincerely believe there has been a mistake in my case and would greatly appreciate any support in appealing this ban. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have attempted to request a refund for two deer hunting games on my Steam account. My little brother spent almost $20 from my wallet without permission, and I sincerely apologize for his actions. I left my computer on overnight, and this mistake won't occur again. I have no use for these games and would appreciate it if you could remove them from my account. I am planning to buy items I actually like. I understand my brother played for about two hours, but this incident has really affected my Christmas. I hope you can consider my situation and assist me in resolving this issue. Thank you, Steam associates, for your understanding and help.

My son purchased a game on Steam yesterday, then decided he wanted a refund. Despite his attempts to delete the game, it kept reinstalling itself. He is worried because the game wouldn't go away even after restarting the computer. He has returned games on Steam before without any issues, but this time, the game's persistent behavior led to it running for about 6 hours. He feels like he's out of approximately $55 Australian. I assured him I would assist in contacting Steam to request a refund review. I am willing to provide any necessary details, including having my son confirm account information.

I recently received a $50 gift card, but unfortunately, the rub-off strip was defective, and most of the code required to use the card got destroyed. I attempted to contact Steam, but they do not have a phone support option. I tried reaching out to them via their website support, and I received a reply. However, it seems like the email does not go through when I press the "send" button to forward the scan of the receipt and the front and back of the gift card. Please reply to [redacted]

While browsing a mod page for a game on the workshop, I accidentally clicked on a link that led me to a page requesting mobile authentication. I assumed it was for Steam, but soon realized it was not. Within minutes, I was locked out of my account, the email on the account was changed, the mobile authenticator was removed, and the password was changed. The IP address in the email showed activity from Russia, a place I have no connection to. I am eager to have the perpetrator identified and apprehended. My main concern is to regain access to my account, on which I've invested a substantial amount. Please reach out to me at [redacted] for any further inquiries. Thank you.

I was recently contacted by someone claiming to be a Steam moderator. They offered to help me retrieve my lost items in exchange for allowing them to scan my items through a trade. After seeing them change my name in Steam, I trusted them and went through with the trade. However, they disappeared after scanning my items, leaving me $[redacted] poorer. Despite my attempts to contact Valve for help, I have received no response except for automated messages leading me back to their website. I have lost over $3,[redacted] in the past week alone to scammers and feel powerless. I just want justice and for these scammers to be held accountable. This string of scams has left me isolated and distrustful, even falling victim to a fake admin. I hope that someone will take my situation seriously and finally address these issues. I am willing to provide evidence of the scams I have experienced if needed. Thank you for your assistance; my email is [redacted]

I am seeking a refund for two downloadable content packages, "ESO: Morrowind" and "ESO: Tamriel Unlimited Gold Edition," as I found the content in "Summerset" to be disturbing due to some politically charged themes. The refund process seems to be automated and not receiving human attention, leaving me unable to address my concerns properly. The interface of the game was initially challenging for me, and the content led me to emotional distress due to personal reasons (PTSD). I believe it's important for companies to consider the impact of sensitive topics in their content on their players' well-being. I am requesting a refund for the two unplayed DLCs, "Morrowind" and "Tamriel Unlimited Gold Edition," amounting to approximately $20.01 after deducting the cost of the base game and the "Summerset" DLC. Despite the no-refund policy based on playtime, I have not engaged with the content of the two disputed DLCs and can provide account verification of this claim.

I was trying to create a Steam account. I entered my email and received the confirmation email. Unfortunately, I accidentally closed the account creation page and now I can't access it again. The email I used is [redacted] I really need to get back to the account creation page to complete setting up my account.

My account has been hacked. The email and password were changed, and my authenticator was disabled. The account name is *mrounds01* surrounded by stars with lines through the letters. When searching, it shows *Treebender*, one of my first Steam friends. It's at level 21 with CSGO as the most played game ([redacted]+ hours) and TF2 as the second ([redacted]+ hours). On 12/16/18, I purchased a $10 - $[redacted] Steam gift card, adding $10 to it, used for CSGO keys and cases with code WNLPM-8QP6Q-PIHJA. I need my account back urgently as the hacker is sending phishing links. The previous password was *Win.rar001*. I've raised a ticket but worry about losing my items. Please assist promptly. I've been on Steam for 6 years and losing it would be devastating. The account balance is about $1.72, and my first game purchases were Gmod, Scribblenaughts, and Ogres Must Die. The last badge was the [redacted] voting awards, with the most recent sale being a CSGO Danger Zone case.

I bought Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition 1 and 2 on sale via Steam a year ago, but they are not appearing in my purchased list and won't load for me. I also added some Sims games from CDs to my Steam account, and those are missing from my games list as well. All the data seems to have disappeared, except for Gang Beasts that I recently bought. I'm not worried about the Sims games, but I really want to be able to play the two Baldur's Gate games I bought.
