I recently updated my flight via telephone with a customer service representative. I was informed that I would receive an $8 voucher along with my confirmation email due to the lower price of the new flight. However, upon receiving the email, it stated "--$8 voucher applied", and the ticket price was $16 higher than anticipated! The unintended double negative resulted in a $16 increase in my flight cost! I kindly request a refund of $16 and a flight credit for the time spent dealing with this issue over the phone.

I and my daughter had a flight from Philadelphia to Orlando, and then Orlando to New Orleans on March 2. The flight was overbooked, so we were accommodated in a hotel and rescheduled for the next day. However, my booking was mistakenly canceled, and now we are back home. Unfortunately, my daughter's luggage was checked in and is supposedly in New Orleans. When trying to file a claim, the computer does not recognize our confirmation number and names. Our confirmation number is QEI46S, and my daughter's name is Ashley Mcgarvey.

I need assistance with filing a claim for my damaged luggage after a recent flight to Las Vegas on 23 February [redacted] with flight number #5132N. Upon arrival, I discovered a significant 6-inch cut in my new luggage, which was in perfect condition before the trip. Following the advice of a Spirit Airlines baggage clerk, I attempted to scan the barcode, take a photo of the damage, and file a claim, but with no success. Can someone guide me on the correct process to file my claim? My contact details: email - [redacted], phone - [redacted]. Thank you for your help. - M. D.

I bought four tickets through Spirit for my wife and relatives for a trip to Las Vegas with the "Boost-IT Standard" package. This package included one checked bag and seat selection for both the departure and return flights. However, when we tried to check in for our return flight at the Las Vegas airport, the Spirit kiosks were not functioning correctly. Despite attempting online check-in on our phones, we couldn't get it to work. When we tried to board, we were asked to pay $89 per passenger for our checked bags, even though we had already paid for them. After struggling with multiple kiosks and seeking assistance from a Spirit employee, my wife still had to pay. I am requesting a refund of all baggage fees, amounting to $[redacted], to be doubled to $[redacted] due to the inconvenience caused. Additionally, I am seeking a refund for the seat selection cost of $[redacted] and a refund for the original baggage fees of $[redacted], doubled to $[redacted]. Therefore, the total refund I am seeking is $[redacted].00.

I have a reservation on Feb 14th for a flight on Mar 28th. I tried to add a bag and zone 2 seating on the website, got charged, and paid, but then couldn't find my flight after joining Free Spirit with ID #[redacted]. The flight is DVIBkZ, Flight #[redacted] at 11 am from Las Vegas to Denver DIA for Holly Garrett and John Hale. I can't sign in to the main Spirit website with my email and password. I've been waiting in the chat box for over an hour, still at #20 in the queue. I've also attempted to call customer service, but they're having issues. Can someone please assist me?

Upon arriving for my flight, I found it overbooked and received a voucher to take another one on Frontier Airlines the next day. Misinformed about the departure time, I missed the flight and requested a change to another airline for a timely arrival. Unable to switch, I stayed with Frontier, only to discover my flight was canceled, getting refunded for the tickets but not the carry-on fees. The entire trip from Philadelphia to New Orleans was ruined. Despite paying for tickets, seat reservations, lodging, and extra fees, I now seek a refund, having meticulously saved all documentation and endured endless back-and-forth with customer service.

On November 29, Spirit Airlines lost my baggage. I filed a claim on December [redacted] ([redacted]) but have only received automatic responses through the contact us portal. Recently, I received a reply stating that Spirit refuses to compensate me for the inconvenience of losing my suitcase and belongings. This feels unjust. Despite knowing my rights, Spirit's lack of responsibility is disappointing. I believed Spirit to be a reliable airline, but this experience says otherwise. I have all the emails, documentation, and claim codes from the process.

I traveled to Jamaica from BWI on March 11, [redacted], with SPIRIT AIRLINE. Unfortunately, upon arriving in Jamaica, my baggage was missing. I completed all required forms for lost luggage. My bag was only returned to me the night before my return flight on March 15th, after spending a lot of money on essential items during my trip. Regrettably, the handle of my suitcase was also damaged. I am looking to be compensated for all the expenses and inconveniences this situation caused during my vacation.

I am Alexandra Kotov. I traveled from Costa Rica to Orlando on March 9, connecting to Long Island with Frontier Airlines. My booking confirmation is JWV5SR. Unfortunately, at Orlando airport, my luggage was mistakenly transferred to Spirit Airlines instead of Frontier flight F9 [redacted]. I reported the lost baggage to Frontier Service at Trenton (TTN), and Spirit Baggage Service confirmed they have it on March 11. Frontier mentioned it's our responsibility to transfer luggage between Spirit and Frontier in Orlando, which is challenging as we are in Long Island, NY. I have called the Spirit Orlando Baggage Office at [redacted] numerous times but have not received any callbacks. Please assist in rerouting our luggage to Frontier desk. You can reach me at [redacted].

Baggage Claim #LAXNK[redacted]5 I filed this claim when I finally managed to upload the pictures of my damaged suitcase on your website after struggling for hours in LA. Despite submitting all requested information, I keep receiving emails saying my claim is closed. I have not received any compensation for the damage to my suitcase, the stolen bourbon, the new suitcase I had to buy, or the stress this caused on my vacation. The zipper of my suitcase was broken, and I had to purchase a large box to bring my belongings back. I also incurred additional expenses on gas. I felt helpless with no support from Spirit personnel, even when I went back to the airport seeking assistance. Why has my case been closed when no resolution has been provided? I need proper compensation for my losses, not automated emails asking me to verify my claim number repeatedly.

I requested wheelchairs for my husband and myself, which was noted on our boarding passes. However, we encountered issues when a bus driver provided only one wheelchair and had to call for an additional one for my husband, causing a delay. We sought assistance at the airport terminal but found nobody at the Spirit Airlines check-in counter. Concerned about missing our flight, my husband improvised by using my wheelchair as a makeshift walker. Subsequently, we underwent a security search that was prolonged due to my back brace. This resulted in us missing our flight as they departed early. Despite speaking to a supervisor who arranged an alternate flight for us to Miami the next morning, we were stranded in the airport due to prior parking arrangements. The supervisor provided us with another wheelchair and directed us to wait at the food court. On our way back to the gate, a dispute arose with an airport staff member regarding wheelchair usage, leading to verbal abuse. We have documentation and wish to submit a formal complaint regarding this incident.

I experienced a flight delay to Houston on February 25th due to bad weather in Las Vegas. As a result, I missed my connecting flight with your airline and had to find an alternative carrier to make my cruise connection the next day. To claim on my trip interruption insurance, they require confirmation of the delay. Could you please email me a confirmation regarding the flight delay? You can reach me at [redacted] My name is Hal Wardle, and the flight in question was NK1716 on 02/25/[redacted], with the confirmation number KM54GK. I appreciate your assistance with this matter.

I experienced an issue with my luggage not being tagged during my flight to Boston on March 25th. Despite filing a claim with Spirit Airlines under CAS [redacted]-L3F8V7, I was informed that the information was incorrect. I have visited the airline's office twice since my return to Boston with no success. I refiled a claim as instructed on March 27, [redacted]. I need to file a claim for the valuable Nebulizer machine in my suitcase which I require for asthma attacks. Compensation for the lost items would also be appreciated. Thank you for your prompt assistance in resolving this matter. Thank you. Helena R.

Hello! On June 12th of last year, I had one of the saddest experiences of my life. My father-in-law passed away in PR suddenly, and that day, on 06/12/22, we traveled for his funeral. Additionally, my eldest son was graduating from university, and I had to be there. When we boarded the flight in New Orleans, there were weather issues causing a delay in our flight. As a result, we missed the plane in Orlando that was heading to PR. (IT WAS NOT OUR FAULT BUT DUE TO THE BAD WEATHER THAT PREVENTED US FROM LEAVING). When we arrived at the Orlando airport, the plane heading to PR had left because we were late to Orlando. The airport was full of people who had been waiting for a flight to their destination since the day before (Saturday) due to the bad weather. They informed us that there were flights available for Tuesday (it was Sunday, June 12th), meaning two days of waiting for a flight. We asked if they could provide a hotel, but they said since it was not due to mechanical issues, they could not. I started crying, my blood pressure rose, and I became very nervous and anxious. I requested to speak with a supervisor, but he was so rude and lacked EMPATHY towards anyone. He mentioned that it was not his problem what happened while he and another employee were mocking me because I was crying and having an anxiety attack. We had to buy 4 tickets with the money we had to use in PR ($1,[redacted]) to be able to arrive on the island the next day with a different airline. I had a $[redacted] voucher that I lost because I was not aware that it had been given to us, and it expired. Can you provide us with another voucher or at least refund the money we spent to buy other tickets for our vacation? We had planned this vacation, and after my father-in-law's sudden passing, they were already scheduled. Due to buying the tickets for $1,[redacted], we couldn't rent a car and couldn't enjoy our vacation. Please, review my case! Thank you.

I had to come to Florida urgently due to my brother's deteriorating health. My wife had already flown down to assist with his care, but unfortunately, his condition worsened quickly, and he passed away within a week. I rushed to Florida by purchasing a last-minute "flex" ticket on Spirit Airlines at an additional cost of $65. This was supposed to allow me to make changes to my reservation if needed. However, now that I need to adjust my flight to handle the tasks related to my late brother's apartment, Spirit is indicating that there will be a change fee for my supposedly flexible ticket. This doesn't seem fair, given the circumstances. Can anyone provide assistance with this issue, as I believe I shouldn't have to pay an extra fee for a ticket I specifically bought to have the flexibility to change? - KL

Hello Spirit team, I have a flight booked from Charlotte to Cancun departing at 1:30 PM EST using flight [redacted]. This flight usually departs from Charlotte to MCO at 1:30, but there is a delay until around 2:30, causing us to arrive at MCO after 3:30. My connecting flight from MCO is scheduled for 3:50. If flight [redacted] is delayed, I will miss my flight to Cancun. My family is eagerly awaiting this spring break trip, and it would be disappointing if we miss our flight and have to stay in Orlando, making our Cancun plans useless and ruining our vacation. I kindly request your assistance. If it's possible to change our flight from 1:30 to 11:30 from Charlotte without any additional fees, it would be greatly appreciated. I chose Spirit for this trip based on its good reputation for service and customer satisfaction. I hope you understand the importance of family time during vacations and can assist us with this situation.

I encountered prior flight issues with rude flight attendants who made me feel profiled. I requested a seat change but was initially denied, only to witness someone else being moved to the exact spot I requested moments later. This experience was unlike my previous positive encounters with Spirit Airlines since [redacted]. Despite investing a significant amount in my ticket, the flight was also significantly delayed, causing me to miss a crucial job interview. The behavior I encountered does not reflect the company's purported commitment to " We SOAR by serving each other and our Guests, one journey at a time."

Dear Sir or Madam, I have received three emails from you regarding a flight rescheduling. I am supposed to approve this by clicking on the "Review Changes" button. However, it is not possible as I keep getting an "Access denied - you don't have permission to access" message each time. Even your website, HELP, and click here to chat do not work. My confirmation code is IL4NJN. How can I reach you or be granted access? Sincerely, Sabrina H.

I dropped off my luggage at MCO airport in Orlando, FL for my April 17th flight to Charlotte, NC. Unfortunately, I missed the flight due to security delays. After being rescheduled for a flight the next day, I was told my luggage was already on its way to Charlotte. However, upon arrival in Charlotte, a Spirit agent informed me that my luggage had never left Orlando. I am currently in Charlotte and urgently need to locate my luggage and arrange for its prompt delivery.

I have a flight scheduled in just a few hours at 6 a.m. EST, and I would appreciate your assistance in updating my status promptly. I recently applied for a status match with your airline and am excited about the benefits it offers. I believe my frequent travels to a city well-covered by Spirit would make me a valuable addition to your loyalty program. Despite some unexpected delays, I finally completed my application recently. However, I am concerned that I might miss out on the perks of my new status for my upcoming flight. I am aware that processing a status match application takes time, but I hope you can expedite my request so I can enjoy my new status before my flight. If you need any additional information or documents from me, please let me know. I am willing to help in any way possible to facilitate this process. Thank you for your attention, and I anticipate your prompt response. Best regards,
