I had my flight on Dec. 26, [redacted], with Southwest canceled due to a significant issue. I, along with many others, had to deal with the chaos caused by the company's computer system crash at JAX. The flight numbers that were canceled were Flt [redacted] from JAX to BWI and Flt [redacted] from BWI to MHT. I am seeking a full refund for the trip and additionally requesting Southwest to cover my one-way ticket from JAX to Philly to MHT. It is essential for Southwest to update their software to avoid such situations. As a dedicated passenger of Southwest for decades, I am looking forward to seeing how they address this challenging situation before considering flying with them again in the future.

I had one bag checked for my trip from St. Louis to Las Vegas, with a layover in Denver via Southwest Airlines flight numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. Unfortunately, both flights were cancelled, and now my checked bag is missing. The Confirmation Number for the flights is 2NPQ9C and the Claim tag for the baggage is [redacted]. Description of the bag: patterned cloth bag with light green flowers and polka dots on a navy blue background.

I'm looking to find out the amount I can be reimbursed for hotel, rental car, or food expenses. My flight scheduled for tomorrow, 12-28-22, has been canceled, and I won't be able to get another flight until at least 1-1-23. I was advised by customer service to contact customer relations, but I keep getting the same number, and after being on hold for 3 to 4 hours, I either get disconnected or encounter busy signals.

Hello,
Due to the recent severe storm affecting travel, we, like many passengers, experienced inconveniences. We urgently need to return home and have only managed to secure a booking for January 2, [redacted]. If we opt for alternative transportation like driving or taking the train, we seek clarification on Southwest Airlines covering expenses such as car rentals, accommodations, meals, fuel, and mileage. Can you provide guidance on the process and the timeframe for a response? We have pressing commitments and aim to depart promptly. Additionally, will we be eligible for refunds on our existing reservations with confirmation numbers 2PQARS and 2R5FZT? Your prompt assistance is greatly appreciated as we plan to depart on December 28, [redacted].
Thank you,
P.M.

I made a booking with Southwest Airlines for a flight from RDU to LAX with a layover in PHX on the 24th. Despite checking in on time, my flight was delayed for at least 4 hours, leading to the cancellation of my connecting flight. As a result, I missed my journey to LAX. I am curious to find out the amount of flight credit I am entitled to receive. Additionally, I had made a hotel reservation for the same date amounting to $82.28. Since I couldn't reach LAX, the hotel billed me for the overnight stay. I am wondering who will reimburse me for this hotel charge.

While at the Long Beach Airport in California on December 24, [redacted], my family and I encountered a delay with Flight [redacted] to Las Vegas. As a result, we made the decision to cancel our reservation and drive to avoid missing our connecting flight [redacted] to Midland, Texas. Despite requesting the return of our 6 bags, only 5 were received at baggage claim. After an extended wait, the missing luggage could not be located, with a possibility that it remained at the departure airport. Upon reaching Midland, a Southwest Baggage Service Office representative informed us that the missing luggage was likely still in Long Beach. Our primary concern is for the missing bag to be located promptly and delivered to the Midland airport.

I recently had a flight with Southwest on December 25th from LaGuardia to Kansas City with a layover in Nashville on flight numbers [redacted] and [redacted]. Unfortunately, my name was not called for boarding. After waiting for a few hours, I approached the service desk. The representative informed me that my flight was missed and proceeded to cancel it, promising an update on a new flight within 48 hours. However, I have not received any communication, and my luggage is missing. I am unsure who to contact about this issue and urgently need assistance. Please investigate this matter as reaching Kansas is crucial for me under these emergency circumstances.

I am looking to book a roundtrip flight from San Antonio (SAT) to Miami (MIA). I noticed that the price for the SAT to MIA leg is different from the MIA to SAT leg. I am wondering if I should add the two fares together or if the price shown for the MIA to SAT leg is the total price for the roundtrip ticket. Thank you. - Walter Rast

I need to cancel our flight from Denver to Cancun. Our original flight on Monday got canceled, and we got re-booked for Friday. We traveled to Cancun with another airline, so now we want to cancel our flight and get a refund. We have tried calling several times with no luck. Please confirm this cancellation. We still need the return flight from Cancun to San Francisco next Monday. Thank you.

Subject: Request to Cancel Entire Reservation and Refund
I am requesting the cancellation of all booked flights and a full refund for the ticket purchases made for the following flights: SLC to LAS on 12/26/22, LAS to LIH on 12/26/22, LIH to OAK on 1/2/23, and OAK to SLC on 1/2/23. I experienced significant inconvenience when my two grandsons were allowed to board in SLC without being informed that the flight to LIH was cancelled, resulting in them being stranded in Las Vegas. Despite the lack of notification and assistance from the gate agent, I had to arrange and pay for their return home. I was initially informed that my bookings were fully changeable and refundable, unlike the limited refund offered later. Kindly process a full refund for the entire ticket price and cancel all upcoming flights. This situation, not caused by weather, reflects a lack of proper planning on your end. Thank you, Rich Bennion.

We experienced the cancellation of 2 flights, the first on Monday, 12/26, and the second on Wednesday, 12/28, from SeaTac to Oakland International Airport. Despite trying to reach customer support for several hours after the second cancellation, we were unable to get through. Regrettably, our flight number and reservation are no longer visible in the Southwest app/system. As a result of these multiple cancellations, we are facing challenges such as lost wages for 4 days, increased dog-sitting expenses, daily airport parking fees, rental car expenses, fuel costs, and other related expenditures.

I'm curious about the travel rewards policies regarding the retention of reward points. Recently, my credit card account was closed, and I still have unredeemed reward points. Is it possible to transfer these points to a new credit card for continued point accrual? How long can I hold onto these points without an active credit card linked to my reward account?

I am new to overseeing credit card management for our company. The Chase Southwest card was canceled following a loss within our corporate team. I am seeking guidance on the process for recovering Southwest Airlines points for our business account. I would like to understand how we can utilize these points and whether we have the option to transfer them to a new card on the current rewards account. I am eager to make the best use of these points, if feasible.

I am in the process of submitting online charges for my recent flights from Raleigh to Chicago Midway, then Pittsburgh. Our Southwest Flight Confirmation number was 3B0ZCW on December 27th, which unfortunately got cancelled, leading us to rebook a flight with American Airlines on the 28th. I have all the necessary receipts available to send by mail.
Due to our age (77 and 81), we are finding it challenging to navigate the reimbursement process on the website. I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. My contact number is [redacted], Southwest member number [redacted]82, and my name is Edna M VanWert.

Dear Swal,
I am following up urgently on my previous requests regarding a cruise cancellation due to a flight delay to LaGuardia Airport on August 15th, [redacted]. The case numbers are [redacted]3 and [redacted]1. I am seeking a refund claim from Princess Cruise that is covered by AON Insurance Services (1-[redacted]). AON is requesting written verification from Swal regarding the circumstances of the flight delay/cancellation for our flights to LaGuardia on August 15th, [redacted]. Our flight confirmation was 2NY2X5, ticket numbers [redacted] for Robert Stanley Kernagis and [redacted] for Martha Jane Madden, flight number [redacted] departing from Phoenix at 5:20 am and scheduled to arrive in Dallas at 3 pm. Due to a mechanical issue, we had an emergency landing in Albuquerque, which resulted in us missing our connecting flight to New York for the cruise departure at 7 pm. AON is reviewing our claim, and I kindly request a response to their inquiry within the next 5 days as we have a Princess cruise booked that requires full payment by February 19th, [redacted]. Thank you for your immediate attention to this matter.
Sincerely,
Gary Reyes

I am aware of the no-show situation. My booking agent mistakenly issued 6 tickets for the same person, making it impossible for one individual to appear on 6 flights. No email confirmation was received, causing confusion. My case number is [redacted]1, and it is unreasonable to be charged for 6 no-shows totaling $[redacted]. Despite my previously positive experiences with your company, this oversight has tarnished your reputation. I kindly request a review of my case to rectify this issue promptly.

This was our second time flying with SWA, the first experience during the Christmas of [redacted] was a debacle. Today, we faced delays after purchasing priority boarding for both of our flights. Flight [redacted] in Baltimore sat on the tarmac for 30 minutes due to a gate change, followed by a problem with the jet bridge adding another 10 minutes. This caused us to miss our priority seating on flight [redacted], making it depart late by half an hour. Despite good weather, these issues left us wondering about the situation at SWA.
I believe SWA should prioritize our boarding on return flights and possibly offer drink coupons as a gesture. I am a frustrated customer. Deborah Pearce, SWA Customer #[redacted]2. Trip Confirmation: 38W5AY.

Hello, on April 1st, I booked a flight for my daughter J.F.G. The departure is from Havana, Cuba to Fort Lauderdale on April 21st at 8:55 am, returning on April 30th at 3:00 pm. My real estate agent in Miami also tried to help with no luck. I received an email from Southwest requesting to speak with me.

As an elderly traveler aged 80, I faced a distressing situation at BWI airport. After landing, I sat in a wheelchair at the end of the ramp for over an hour, waiting for assistance that never arrived despite calls made. Eventually, a kind stranger helped me. This experience was unlike any I've had in my numerous travels with Southwest. My flight was #[redacted] landing at 10:30 p.m. on April 11th. My confirmation number was 428M2C, and my name is Gertrude Affayroux. This incident was particularly challenging as I was flying to Maryland alone for a celebration of life for my husband of 62 years who recently passed on January 17th, [redacted].
