I recently purchased a new phone and attempted to log in to my Snapchat account, using my usual password. However, the system indicated my password was incorrect and prompted me to reset it. Unfortunately, I encountered an issue while trying to reset my password using my phone number, as it was not verified. Since I created a new iCloud account, I couldn't use the email recovery option, considering my previous email was associated with my Snapchat account. After visiting the Snapchat website, I successfully changed my password but faced a message stating I couldn't reuse old passwords. Despite creating a new password, I continuously received an error message when trying to log in through the app. Now, my phone number seems to be non-functional for creating a new account. I find this situation frustrating, especially after spending an hour attempting to resolve it.

Around 8 months ago, my original Snapchat account, melinamaradona, was hacked. I was locked out, and upon trying to log in, I found my password had been changed, and my phone number and email were no longer associated with the account. The hacker demanded $[redacted] via my boyfriend's Snapchat to return the account, but I declined and created a new one. I cherish the photos and videos in my memories, especially after the recent loss of my cousin. The only memories I have of him are on that account. I am not concerned about recovering the account itself, just desperately want those pictures and videos back. They are the only way I have to say goodbye to him. Your help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have updated my email to [redacted], but forgot to change my phone number on Snapchat. I am unable to access my emails, [redacted] and [redacted], to retrieve the verification codes as I lost my passwords. My old number was [redacted], and my new number is [redacted]. Please assist me in regaining access to my Snapchat account "MIA" as it contains precious videos and photos of my late Mother. These memories are extremely valuable to me, especially since my phone was damaged, resulting in the loss of all other passwords. Your help in recovering these memories would be greatly appreciated. My daughter has been using her phone number [redacted] to access various accounts, even though I have previously restricted her access due to media boundary violations at home. She isn't old enough to have this account, which she has been using since March without my knowledge until recently. I need her account suspended with this phone number until she reaches the appropriate age to use it. Despite my efforts to enforce rules and monitor her activity, she is bypassing our restrictions. Ali has also engaged in inappropriate behavior on her account, soliciting inappropriate images from others and impersonating her. This situation has deeply affected my daughter's mental well-being, leaving her feeling vulnerable and harassed. My Snapchat has frozen (my new account). To fix it, I deleted and reinstalled the app. However, upon entering my login information, I can't access my account (the reason I created a new one previously). I tried using my phone number for login, but it didn't work. I remember adding my phone number to my new account precisely for situations like this. I've only had the new account for less than 3 months and it's frustrating to lose all the photos, especially of my son, and contact with clients as I use Snapchat for business. I am feeling upset, angry, and confused after my phone was stolen yesterday. My phone holds all my photos, text messages, and especially my cherished Snapchat account, which I have used for over three years, building friendships and keeping precious memories. Despite getting a replacement phone, I can't access my Snapchat as it sends a verification code to the stolen device, which I no longer have. I am feeling overwhelmed as logging in requires a recovery code that I am unfamiliar with. I am eager to regain access to my Snapchat account and hoping that Snapchat can help by disabling the verification code step or providing a way to create a recovery code. I am experiencing issues with receiving notifications for messages on Snapchat. The chats seem to glitch, showing no new messages until I reopen the app, revealing messages were sent nearly an hour prior. I have confirmed my notification settings are on and tested switching between data and Wi-Fi networks with no change. After updating the app and restarting my phone, the problem persists. Even signing in on a different device produced the same outcome. This seems to be a common issue affecting others as well. I hope Snapchat can investigate and resolve this inconvenience soon. A few weeks ago, I changed my account password due to unauthorized access. Last night, while testing Bitmoji with a new account, I provided my phone number. When I tried to log back into my original Snapchat account "ryan_shogren," it said the password was wrong. I attempted to recover it with my phone number, but it didn't recognize it. The system claimed it wasn't the original number I used, although I've used it for account recovery before. My phone number is [redacted], the one I always use. I have previously reported my Snapchat account being hacked. I have evidence of the hacker trying to scam people using my profile and conversations with them. They are asking for my "myeyesonly" code ([redacted]) in exchange for my old password (Unknown21). Some individuals who fell for the scam have sent me unpleasant messages. I've lost all my photos from the past 4-5 years on Snapchat. The hacker is attempting to sell my private photos saved in "MyMemories." It's crucial to remove them from the platform. The hacker logged in from GA, but my usual location is MS. I am desperate to prove my ownership of the account and seek assistance. If the hacker shares my private media, it would be devastating. I urge for immediate help, even if it means deleting the account entirely.

Hello, I am experiencing difficulties with the pictures I capture using the Snapchat app. No matter if I take a picture horizontally or vertically, the icons on the screen (like the Text or Send icon) do not adjust their position when I rotate my phone 90 degrees. They remain static regardless of how I turn my phone. I have ensured that the portrait orientation lock is disabled in my iPhone settings. Other apps on my iPhone rotate correctly, but Snapchat does not. To clarify, I am not seeking to rotate the picture itself but rather the icons and filters. If I snap a photo in landscape mode, it appears that way. However, when I apply a filter or text, they stay in the vertical position, causing a misalignment with the picture. I need a bot to call me for the authentication code instead of sending it via text. I cannot send or receive SMS messages, but calls work. I was able to reset my password using a call. I have my recovery code, but I am not given the option to enter it after two-step verification. I am locked out of my account due to being unable to receive texts in The Netherlands with my Turkish carrier. I could receive calls, as verified by the password reset call. If I could get the authentication code via a call from a bot, I can regain access. I fear losing my streaks, some over [redacted], some even [redacted]. Moving back to Turkey to receive texts is not an option currently.

My cousin used my phone and added numerous unknown people on Snapchat through Quick Add. Now, I am unable to remove or block them, accept friend requests, or add new friends. The app keeps showing an error message when I try to remove them. My cousin, who is only eight years old, added over [redacted] strangers without my knowledge. I would like to clean up my account without creating a new one. Snapchat is not letting me remove these contacts, and I'm unsure how to resolve this issue given the situation with my young cousin.

One night while in bed, I noticed all my memories disappeared from Snapchat. Despite thinking it might be a glitch, the next morning they were still missing. I checked with friends, but they didn't experience the same issue. Even after turning on the option to save memories to the camera roll, nothing changed, and all my pictures and videos were gone. I tried contacting Snapchat, but they provided no solution. I find it unfair as nobody accessed my account, yet everything got deleted. My account, Taylor Gray, was hacked last night through a friend's compromised Snapchat. Initially, the hacker messaged me from my friend's account asking to post on my story, and I allowed it, assuming it was my friend. However, it turned out to be the hacker. Now, the hacker has control of my account and is contacting people through my account. I urgently need access back as I have important data on there. My account username is Taylor_indiaaa. Hello, I'm Annabel, and my Snapchat username is @annnuue. I've been Super BFFs with Marek, whose username is @razenator, for a long time. Suddenly, our Super BFF status disappeared, although he's the one I snap with the most every day. The person who replaced him hasn't received any personal snaps from me. Now, he's back to second position on my friends list. Can the current "Besties (yellow heart)" status be changed back to our old Super BFF status?
