I have been using Snapchat for several months. Recently, I accidentally cleared data and got logged out, forgetting my password as well. Unfortunately, the number I used for verification has been stolen. I now have a new phone number and sim card. Is there a way for Snapchat to verify my identity through location? I recently had issues with my Snapchat account. I noticed strange logouts even after changing my password multiple times. Feeling uneasy, I deactivated my account three days ago. To ensure security, I asked friends to monitor the account for 30 days. However, today someone accessed the account, changing the name to Russian text. I understand that changing Snapchat usernames for security reasons may not be possible, but I am hoping to request a change for mine. My current username is ‘omg5050’ which, at my current stage of life, is embarrassing to share. I created this account when I was younger, unaware of the implications it would have later on. If it is possible to change my username, it would greatly facilitate my daily interactions. I acknowledge that this may appear trivial compared to larger global issues, but this change would truly mean a lot to me. Creating a new account would result in losing my snap-score, streaks, and require re-adding everyone. Therefore, if changing my username is feasible, kindly reach out to me for the new username I have in mind.

Since October 29th, every time I try to open Snapchat, it immediately closes. Despite managing to send streaks after repeatedly reopening the app, I have had no luck. I've reached out to Snapchat through email six times, but it seems like they are not reading my messages or simply do not care. I have provided a lot of feedback as well. I've already tried clearing the cache, restarting my phone, updating the app, and temporarily uninstalling it. I can't permanently uninstall it because I have [redacted] unbacked snaps that I don't want to lose. I have numerous streaks over [redacted] days, but I can't access the app, leaving me unable to contact my friends or view people's stories. This situation has left me extremely stressed and frustrated.

I've been attempting to contact someone to send me a reset link for my Snapchat account that was hacked. The account under the username finenddbambi was compromised, and the hacker used the IP address (73.[redacted].79.47) to log in at 5:27:08 am EST. Unfortunately, they changed the password and the recovery email to [redacted], which is incorrect. I received a message from GetHuman regarding my account recovery on Snapchat. Although the original email and phone number associated with my account are correct, someone hacked into my account and changed the details. The correct and original email for my account "finenddbambi" is [redacted], and the correct phone number is [redacted]. When I attempted to reset my password through the link provided by Snapchat, I received an error stating that the link was no longer valid. I kindly request Snapchat to send me a new password reset link to my correct original email address listed above in order to regain access to my account.
