Dear Customer Service, I am writing regarding a recent flight booking experience I had with your company. Last week, I purchased a flight with the Flexi and Flexi Plus coverage options due to uncertainty about my travel plans. While in Spain to visit my ill father, I needed to postpone my flight last minute. I encountered issues when I tried to utilize the Flexi Plus coverage as advertised on your website. Despite claiming "no questions asked," I was questioned and asked to provide my father's death certificate, which was not appropriate as my father was still alive but gravely ill. Upon arriving at the airport, I faced unnecessary delays as a British passport holder, which occurred again on my return flight to the UK. The treatment I received was disheartening, as I believe I was subjected to unjust scrutiny. Despite receiving a call confirming my father's passing and needing to change my travel plans, I was met with insensitivity. I am deeply disappointed by the lack of compassion and understanding from your company. The experience has been distressing, especially during a time of personal loss. I urge you to reconsider your policies and the way you handle sensitive situations. I am sharing my story on social media to shed light on the inadequate treatment I received. The flight I was meant to take was FR [redacted] on 29/01/[redacted] from Valencia Manises to London Stansted, which I ultimately did not board. Thank you for addressing my concerns promptly. Sincerely, [Initials]

Upon arriving at the airport check-in counter at 2:48 pm for my 5 pm flight, I had not received the check-in details from my third-party provider. The Ryanair staff informed me about the two-hour check-in policy and charged me £55 per person, which I found out later was avoidable with self-check-in on my phone, as I still had 12 minutes left. I feel the £[redacted] charge was unnecessary, and I would like to request a refund. This incident has left me disappointed with my first experience flying with Ryanair. I can provide the payment receipt, flight details, and any other information needed for a review.

Hello, I am looking to modify my flight from Manchester to Barcelona scheduled for Friday, February 25th from 06:20 to 09:40. The flight number is FR [redacted] with a reservation number of B73VQS. I would like to change it to March 10th on the same flight number FR [redacted]. I am aware of the Zero Change Fee policy that requires changes to be made at least 7 days before the original departure date. However, I have been trying to make this change since yesterday and have encountered a 45 euro charge. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide on this matter. Best regards, Babak Habibnia

I made a flight booking for a festival in Portugal last year. Due to covid, the trip got postponed to [redacted]. I had to change the dates with Ryanair, but the website crashed, resulting in incorrect dates and over £[redacted] in charges. Unfortunately, being 7 months pregnant and due in April [redacted], I can't go anymore. Dealing with my father's recent passing in January has left me feeling depressed and stressed, impacting my health. I need a refund of over £[redacted] for funeral expenses and my baby. The festival is still happening, and I believe the tickets could be resold, allowing me to get a full refund.

I had a booking issue with Ryanair where my flight was scheduled for a month later than I originally booked. Despite having an email confirmation for the intended date of February 19th, when I arrived at the gate, I was informed that my flight was actually for March 19th. This mistake led me to incur an additional cost of $[redacted] for rebooking my flight and accommodation. Despite presenting evidence of my original booking date, I struggled to reach Ryanair for assistance as all the phone numbers I tried seemed to be out of service.

I was browsing flights from Manchester to Carcassonne on the Ryanair website. Although I did not proceed to confirm the flights or enter any card details, I unexpectedly received a confirmation email showing a payment made. I had actually booked my return flights through MyTrip.com. I am reaching out to request a refund for the unauthorized charge on my Mastercard ending in [redacted] for the amount of [redacted].49 GBP. I do not keep any card details saved on websites, so I am puzzled by how this transaction occurred. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Clare M.

I was at Lisbon airport with my cabin bag, which the lady saw but did not mention any charges. However, just before my flight, I was informed that I couldn't bring the cabin bag and was charged double. I'm extremely disappointed with the service and frustrated about the extra charges due to the lack of information provided by the airport staff. My family and I felt ignored and mistreated, possibly discriminated against, as the staff spoke in a different language and laughed rudely after our interaction. I felt embarrassed by the tone of the conversation. When I asked for the staff member's name, Gasper (badge number: 190UT22), she refused to provide it, saying I had no right to know. I am upset that I was not informed of the charges beforehand and I demand a refund for the double charge resulting from the inadequate and disrespectful service from the staff.

Hello, I would like to report an unfortunate incident that happened yesterday on the 18:25 Ryanair flight from Rome to Bucharest. My wife, Dr. Corina-Florica M. and my daughter, A., were on board. I had to take a different flight to Germany the same day as I am a German citizen. Because I trusted Ryanair's reputation, I didn't worry about their journey. This was our first experience with the airline, and the tickets were purchased through a Romanian agency. The issue arose when my family wasn't properly informed about Ryanair's "priority luggage" policy upon boarding. Despite being willing to pay an additional fee after a polite explanation, they were shocked by the rude and aggressive behavior of your female employee, who callously suggested they fly with WizzAir next time if they were unhappy. This incident has left me concerned for future travel and I would appreciate an explanation to determine if I should continue flying with Ryanair. Best regards, Ing. Marian M.

Dear Ryanair, I recently traveled to Newcastle airport with my current driving license and a UK photo citizenship card as my passport application is pending. Despite information from airport officials stating a passport isn't needed for travel between the UK and Ireland, Ryanair staff did not allow me to board. I seek clarification regarding this matter as the incident caused me significant distress and disruption. The refusal to travel has affected my professional commitments as I missed presenting an academic paper at University College Cork, incurring registration fees of £[redacted] and spending £22.50 on taxi fares. I request reimbursement for these expenses. Sincerely, Dr. S. Quaid

I purchased a Ryanair ticket from Birmingham to Malta with a return flight through Mytrip on January 31, [redacted]. Unfortunately, I was charged for two tickets for the same flight. The first order, LGZUUC, with booking number FHDH7B for the return F61EVI, and the second order LGZTXJ, with booking number W8UN8P for the return J5NC7V, both for flights FR3901 departing on February 6, [redacted], to Malta and returning on March 2, [redacted], to Birmingham, UK. I was charged for both transactions on the same day from my bank account, LGZUUC at 14:46 and LGZTX at 15:03. Despite speaking with both Mytrip and Ryanair advisors, the matter remains unresolved. I used the LGZUUC ticket and would like a refund for the LGZTX ticket. I am willing to provide any additional information needed. Regards, M. Petrova.

Hello, I am wondering about the entry requirements for traveling to France from Helsinki, Finland. I am booked on flight FR9337 on March 11th. I am curious about the proof of complete vaccination. I have received 2 doses of the Pfizer vaccine on August 11th. My EU Digital COVID Certificate is still valid globally, but I have heard that France has specific rules regarding the validity of the certificate. Can I travel to France with just my certificate without needing a PCR test? Thank you.

I encountered an error on the app while trying to book my flight, preventing me from completing the process. I would like to speak with a representative in person to make the booking. I am aware that there should be no booking fee charged due to the web error. You can reach me at my email [redacted] or my phone numbers: 00 33 [redacted] or 33 [redacted]. I am interested in reserving a round-trip flight from Bergerac, France to London Stansted on July 13, [redacted], departing at 15:00. For the return journey, I would like to depart from London Stansted on July 27 at 11:50 back to Bergerac, France. I will have one 20 kg suitcase for check-in and a small handbag as carry-on luggage for both flights. I prefer to have a seat at the rear of the plane for both legs of the journey. Your help with this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Marjorie Durham.

Since November [redacted], I have been trying to get help regarding my missing ticket and unauthorized bank charges. Despite multiple calls, complaints, and providing bank screenshots, I have received zero assistance. Typing this complaint for the tenth time is incredibly frustrating, and I urgently need someone who can pay attention to resolve this issue with a simple bank transfer check. I have been a loyal Raynair customer for the past 2 years without any previous problems. I understand the challenges posed by the pandemic, but like other customers, I expect and deserve proper service. I hope to receive prompt assistance and not just another automated email, as I am reaching my limit with this bureaucratic process.

Good morning, I made a reservation for 3 round-trip tickets from Manchester to Tenerife through Opodo. The initial flights were supposed to be FR4332 departing on 24/6/22 at 14:35 and returning on FR1248 departing on 15/7/22 at 12:05. The Opodo booking reference is [redacted]. I need to change the travel dates to departing Manchester on 9/7 and returning from Tenerife on 29/7 due to my son's extended GCSE dates. It is important to keep the same flight times, as my husband has a heart condition and needs minimal disruption. I tried to modify the booking online, but the 10-digit Opodo reference does not match the 6-digit reference you provided. Despite spending 40 minutes on hold with Opodo, I was unable to get through, and I had to end the call. I have already paid the extra fee for flight changes and am aware that there may be additional costs. I would greatly appreciate it if you could assist me in amending our booking. Thank you in advance, Michelle S.

Good morning, I accidentally booked a hand luggage for the departure flight instead of the return flight under the reservation of Rita Tanti for a priority bag of 10kgs. The reservation number is RFGF3K. I would like to cancel this booking and rebook it for the return flight if possible. Thank you for your assistance. Sincerely, Natasha Spiteri Busuttil

I submitted refund forms for a travel voucher, but have not received any response or refund yet. I emailed Ryanair customer service three times. One person asked for more information, which I promptly provided, but the other two emails did not receive any replies. The voucher has expired, and I still have not received a refund from Ryanair. Please advise on how to reach someone who can help me with this issue.
