My husband's luggage was not collected in Chicago; it traveled to Cairo instead. He flew with American Airlines, who stated that Royal Jordanian is in charge of retrieving the baggage. Hi, I'm Maria Hatoum. I had a round trip reservation from Chicago to Beirut departing on 10/21/[redacted] and returning on 11/4/[redacted] through CheapOair with Booking # [redacted]4. Yesterday, I received an email informing me that the flight from Beirut to Amman on 11/4 was canceled, and I've been asked to switch to a flight on 11/3 departing at 7:25 PM, arriving in Amman at 9:15 PM, then catching my flight back to Chicago on 11/4. This change leaves me with a 12-hour layover at the airport. I had a non-refundable hotel booking at the Gefinor Hotel in Beirut on 11/3, costing $[redacted].71, which I would like refunded. I kindly request assistance with arranging accommodation in Amman for the night of 11/3 due to the flight changes. Please reach me via email at [redacted] Thank you for your understanding and support. Sincerely, Maria Hatoum.

Hello, I'm Javier Pedraza Polo. I encountered some difficulties with the customer service at Royal Jordanian Airlines upon my arrival in New York City on October 13th. I had to approach a gentleman named Omar at the New York City offices for a claim and PIR number for my lost bag with Tag number [redacted]. After some back and forth, I managed to obtain the report with the help of JFK airport managers.
Unfortunately, when my bag was finally delivered to my Brooklyn home on October 19th, some of my clothes were damaged due to humidity. This resulted in having to purchase new clothes, shoes, underwear, and hygiene products during the week. I've filed a claim with PIR JFKRJ14242 for the damaged items and incurred expenses of $[redacted].43 USD for replacements. I am seeking a full refund for these expenses and the damaged clothes valued at approximately $[redacted]/[redacted] USD.
I would appreciate guidance on the process to obtain the refund for the damages and expenses incurred.
Best regards,
Javier Pedraza Polo

Hello, I’m Javier Pedraza Polo. I recently flew with Royal Jordanian Airlines on flights RJ261 and RJ343 from Tel Aviv to New York City on October 13th. Unfortunately, upon arrival in New York, I encountered issues with the customer service representative, Omar. I had to ask him multiple times for a claim and PIR number for my lost bag with Tag number [redacted]. After speaking with managers at JFK airport, I was able to obtain my report.
My bag was delivered to my home in Brooklyn, NY on October 19th, but it had damages such as wet and damaged clothes. I had to purchase new clothes, shoes, underwear, and other essentials during the week.
I am seeking a full refund for the damaged clothes and expenses totaling $[redacted].43 USD. I have already filed a claim with PIR JFKRJ14242 and would appreciate guidance on how to proceed to receive my refund.

Dear Royal Jordanian Airlines,
We booked a flight from Vienna to BKK with a stop in Amman. Our flight was scheduled for March 18 from BKK to Amman with a 5-hour layover, then continuing to Vienna on the same day. Unfortunately, you canceled the flight from Amman to Vienna on March 18 and rescheduled it for March 20, forcing us to stay in Amman for an additional two days. This change is unacceptable to us as we cannot stay in Amman for two extra days due to your flight cancellation. We are wondering if it's possible to revert the flight back to the original date of March 18 or if you can offer an alternative flight from Amman to Vienna on that day. Our reservation number is TC3A9N for Nina Kukuckova and Michal Vozar. We appreciate any assistance you can provide in this matter. Thank you for your understanding and prompt response.

Upon returning from a trip to Jordan and Israel via RJ from Cincinnati to Chicago to Amman, my husband and I encountered seating issues for which we had paid extra. We had booked and paid for upgrades, a total fare of $[redacted].30. Despite paying for seats with extra legroom, we found ourselves in row 6, not the row with the additional space. After voicing our concern to the flight attendant, we were offered separate seats, with one of us seated in row 5 next to a couple with an infant and the other further back. This was unacceptable as we had booked seats together. My husband suggested sitting in an open seat in Business Class, but this was not permitted. In the end, my husband sat in row 5, and I behind him to at least be close. Furthermore, the entertainment system at his seat was dysfunctional. We had anticipated a comfortable journey due to the extra legroom we had paid for. However, the seating arrangement and the staff's response left us dissatisfied. I am now requesting a partial refund for the inconvenience. Thank you for addressing this promptly.

I misplaced my checked luggage during my journey to Jeddah from London Heathrow on December 19, [redacted] (flight RJ [redacted] departing 16:05 London-Amman, transit RJ [redacted] departing 23:55 Amman-Jeddah). Despite arriving in Jeddah on Thursday morning, I have not received any updates on my bag up to today (Saturday). The Jeddah airport indicated that they have not received my bag and will only contact me once obtained, leaving me concerned. I urgently need my bag for my Umrah pilgrimage as it contains all my belongings, including clothing. I kindly request assistance in tracking my bag and arranging for its delivery to my hotel in Mecca. Please provide me with any updates as soon as possible as I have been without my belongings for three days now. The bag number is 0-[redacted]-RJ-[redacted], and it is a large solid four-wheeled red Delsy suitcase with a key lock.

Upon arrival at JFK NYC on April 21 from Ben Gurion Tel Aviv Israel with my daughter Jo Braverstein and her two daughters Mia and Lenny, we faced significant delays which caused us to reach the airport at 22:20 instead of the expected 16:20. Unfortunately, both strollers we used were damaged, alongside a cracked luggage. Despite speaking to Omar, who was filling in for the absent manager, and filing forms regarding the issues, I have not received any follow-up communication. I am seeking compensation for the extended flight duration and delays, as well as for the damaged strollers and luggage. I trust that Royal Jordanian will address these concerns promptly, and I hope to receive an upgrade on a future flight to restore my confidence in the airline.

Good morning,
A group of 8 passengers, including myself, will be flying from Tel Aviv to Amman on October 21 on Royal Jordan flight [redacted]. After a one-hour layover, we will then fly from Amman to Beirut on Middle East Airlines flight [redacted]. I would like to confirm whether we need to collect our bags in Amman. If not, what should we do since our luggage will have identification tags from Tel Aviv? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I am very disappointed by the security breach that occurred when my luggage was held by your company for 3 months. Five of my items have been stolen, and this is unacceptable. I demand an explanation for this terrible behavior and will be sharing my negative experience on social media. It is crucial that airlines ensure the safety of passengers' belongings, and this incident has left me feeling betrayed and outraged. I urge you to take immediate action to address this issue and prevent it from happening to others in the future. My trust in your airline has been shattered, and I will not be using your services again if such misconduct continues.

My luggage was lost for three months, and when it was eventually found in Jordan, several items, including a new diamond and sapphire necklace from my jewelry bag, were missing. How can an airline have individuals stealing from passengers? I have not received an apology or any acknowledgment of this issue. I will not be using this airline again and have shared my experience on social media. This situation needs attention, and I am far from satisfied with the outcome. My name is Laurie Shawler, and my phone number is [redacted]. I await a response on how this will be resolved. It is disappointing how my luggage was lost and the theft that occurred.

Dear all,
I would like to address an issue with my recent flight booking. My name is Miriam Taylor, and I had purchased two seats with extra legroom for my flight from AMM to JFK on May 22nd, [redacted]. Unfortunately, the flight was cancelled, and despite contacting the airline, I was informed that the tickets are non-reimbursable. This seems unreasonable as I did not make any changes to my reservation. I am seeking reimbursement for the additional seat cost for the return flight. Your attention to this matter is greatly appreciated.
Thank you,

On 4th March [redacted], I took flight RJ [redacted] from Amman to Erbil, Iraq at 7:05 pm. Unfortunately, after checking in my bag in Amman containing a computer, a projector, clothing, and a hard drive, it did not arrive in Erbil. The luggage tag number is RJ830039, and the claim number given by the baggage claim personnel in Erbil is EBLRJ14936. I have made numerous attempts to contact the airline via email through World Tracer and Facebook Messenger, but have not received any response. As I am soon returning to America from Iraq due to travel restrictions, I urgently need my missing bag, which is a black duffel bag without wheels with green tape on one end. It has been missing for 13 weeks and contains items valued at over $[redacted] essential for my job. Despite my efforts, I have had almost no communication from the airline. My contact numbers are [redacted][redacted] (Iraq) and +1 [redacted] (US). I appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter promptly.

My friend, R.A., was traveling today to visit her sick mother in Jordan. R.A. is a disabled woman who uses a wheelchair. Unfortunately, her flight was overbooked, and she was denied boarding without being provided an alternative. It seems the airline plans to refund her, but this is not suitable given her circumstances. She urgently needs to reach Jordan to proceed to Palestine. As per the airline's policy available on their website, R.A. should have been offered an alternative flight within 48 hours. It's crucial for her to secure an alternative flight before the 12th.

Hello, I am Ruth Zeidan. I arrived in Chicago from Beirut via Amman last night. Unfortunately, only one of my bags arrived with me. When no more bags appeared on the carousel, I approached the help desk, but the agent had already left, leaving me unable to file a claim. After being advised by airport personnel to return home to Wisconsin, I am reaching out for assistance. My booking number was 4J5H68, on flights RJ263 and RJ408, with missing bag number [redacted]. In all my years of travel, this is the first time I've encountered such an issue. I kindly request your help in locating my missing bag or providing compensation for the irreplaceable items it contained.

I need to reschedule my booking JZEWJF from Cairo to Montreal, Canada for 16 Dec [redacted] and return on 10 Jan [redacted] due to new COVID-19 rules for travelers coming from Egypt. I would like to change my flight to a later date or switch it to Orlando, USA, or another city in the USA. I attempted to modify my booking online, but the prices were exorbitant and didn't acknowledge this force majeure situation. All airlines typically waive penalties and permit free changes during such unforeseen circumstances.

I have a concern regarding my upcoming flight with Royal Jordanian Airlines. I am traveling from Canada, Montreal (YUL) to Egypt, Cairo (CAI) with a 90-minute layover in Amman, Jordan (AMM). I am fully vaccinated with 3 doses of Moderna, including the booster dose. Do I still need a PCR test for my transit in Queen Alia Airport in Jordan, or will my vaccination suffice? Due to my flight on Monday, getting a PCR test within the 72-hour window before landing in Amman will be challenging. Can you please advise me on what to do in this situation? Additionally, I am interested in changing my departure date from March 28th to March 24th for flights RJ268 and RJ505. Thank you.

Dear Madam/Sir,
I am Mr. Ibrahim I Yousif, and I was flying with Royal Jordanian from Amman to London on April 1st, [redacted]. While waiting in the fast track queue, the gate attendant allowed eight passengers to go ahead of me. When it was finally my turn, he questioned me about wearing a mask, although others in line were not. After glancing at my passport and seeing my birthplace, Baghdad, he singled me out for a random check. I was the only one chosen, and when I questioned him and his colleagues, they supported his decision. This incident was upsetting and impacted my travel day. I hope that proper action is taken to address this rude behavior.
Sincerely,
Ibrahim I Yousif

Hello,
I wanted to bring up a concern regarding my recent travel experience. My booking reference is QA55CP. Upon arriving in Lebanon through Dammam on the 18th with a scheduled arrival of 02:45 on the 19th, my flight was rescheduled to arrive in the Middle East on the 19th at 11:00. I was meant to fly from Beirut to Dammam via Amman on the 22nd at 21:00.
Although the flight from Beirut to Amman was on time, the flight from Amman to Dammam has been rescheduled twice. The latest reschedule was at 17:35, with the arrival in Dammam now set for the 23rd at 19:35.
This poses an issue for me as I have night duty and should be on duty by 18:30. I am in urgent need of a solution to reschedule my flight with another airline to ensure I can reach my work on time.
I have tried calling the call center for over 10 minutes in Jordan, but it's constantly busy and no one has picked up. I am hoping to avoid a repeat of this experience as punctuality is crucial for me in my work commitments.
Thank you.
