I made an order on Cyber Monday with Order [redacted], but mistakenly entered the wrong email. I have been trying to contact you since 10:30 a.m. this morning. My doorbell is not ringing, and I have attempted to access the ring system, but various errors keep appearing. I am unable to view my devices, the dashboard, or my history. Additionally, the doorbell is not alerting me when someone walks by. I am in the process of installing a new Ring wired doorbell. I contacted tech support and encountered difficulty as I tried using three different email addresses: 1. [redacted] (unused but receiving emails from the company) I managed to set up the wired doorbell successfully over the weekend using my Gmail account. Subsequently, I tried to add my wife's account (Yahoo), which became primary due to our Amazon connection. Troubles arose when attempting to use the Gen 1 Ring chime from [redacted] - it was found but wouldn't sync. Is it still compatible with the system? I'm in the process of setting up my Ring Doorbell Pro that I got for Christmas. The manual instructions indicate connecting the Pro Power kit to the "Front" & "Transformer" terminals on the chime. However, my chime wires are linked to the F & R terminals, and the T terminal is not used. Unlike the illustrated chime with screw terminal connections, mine has spring-type connections for the wires. Should I trim the Pro Power kit wires to fit? Additionally, I'm unsure if the Pro Power kit needs a continuous 16-24Vac power source. Since my chime is part of the doorbell circuit, power is only active when the button is pushed. Could you clarify the purpose of the Pro Power kit? I have images for reference, but I'm unable to email them to support or upload them here. Hence, I hope my explanation suffices.

I am experiencing issues with the Ring customer service recovery process. Despite being a long-time subscriber, when I needed help due to my two-factor authentication issues, the representative requested the serial code from my camera, which was inconvenient and impractical. When I explained I couldn't provide it due to the camera's condition, the rep asked for a utility bill, which seemed excessive. Ultimately, I decided to cancel my account, and although the rep was willing to assist with that, the stringent verification process for accessing my account was frustrating. As a loyal customer, I find this treatment disappointing and will be lodging complaints with relevant authorities.

However, things took a turn when she requested the serial code from my camera, which would involve disassembling it. When I explained this wasn't feasible, she then asked for a utility bill. Feeling exasperated, I decided to cancel my account, which the rep promptly handled. The inconsistency in identity verification baffled me – how could they validate me for cancellation but not for account access? After this ordeal, I feel disheartened by the customer service I received. I plan to file complaints with various agencies for this unsettling experience. My request is simple; I seek a full refund for the month I paid, as only a partial reimbursement was provided.

I purchased a Schlage Encode Smart WiFi Deadbolt back in December. Despite receiving emails about delays, the last update was on 2/4/22. However, when tracking the package, the number provided is not found. It is now 5/6/22, and the deadbolt has still not arrived. I also ordered a Ring Doorbell at the same time which arrived without any issues. I need a refund for the deadbolt as it was intended as a Christmas gift for my mother six months ago. When attempting to contact customer service, the automated system asks for an account number which I do not have due to not receiving the item. I request assistance in getting a refund from Ring.

As a landlord, I recently discovered that my tenants are installing Ring Doorbell devices that record audio, which is illegal in California. I did not consent to being recorded. Ring stores this video/audio on the Cloud, which raises privacy concerns if no crime has been committed. I suggest creating a program where tenants only have access to recordings for 24 hours, without keeping copies of non-criminal activity. Tenants should provide landlords with a certificate confirming erasure after 24 hours for permission to install Ring. An option without audio recording should be available. For serious crimes, police access to Ring info should require a reported crime, not a fishing expedition, with audio retained for one month. Implementing these protections could improve Ring sales. Providing device certificates with unique IDs to landlords and enabling them to request information about tenant devices would be beneficial. All Ring devices should display a clear identity number for inquiries about audio recording and deletion policies.

I want to provide some feedback regarding my experience upgrading Ring doorbells after moving homes. Despite ordering Ring Doorbell 2s from Amazon and Argos, they arrived without the replacement battery feature that my sister and I needed. Even after replacements were sent, the issue persisted, causing us inconvenience. The naming system for Ring doorbells (doorbell, doorbell 1, 2, gen 2, 3, and 4) led to confusion. We returned incorrect items, visited Argos twice, and are still without the desired doorbells and replacement batteries. The discrepancies between the advertised "special offers" and the actual products have left us frustrated and out of pocket. This has been a significant inconvenience as we were handling four Ring doorbells and replacement batteries.

I urgently need assistance. I recently moved into my home at the beginning of this month, November [redacted]. I am a petite single mother, weighing [redacted] pounds and standing at four feet ten inches. I have two daughters, H. who is 14 years old and L. who is 9 years old. I bought and own the house myself. However, legal paperwork to include my daughters' names on the ownership documents won't be ready until after Christmas. The problem at hand is that my ex-boyfriend, who is H.'s father, installed cameras on my house without permission. He placed them on the roof and door while watching the children while I was at work. He set up the cameras and system on his phone without my knowledge. All security devices, phones, and the house are under my name and fully paid for.

After a recent power outage, we had to reset all our devices. Unfortunately, our Ring doorbell stopped functioning properly once we reconnected it to the Wi-Fi. We are experiencing issues with receiving notifications, the camera not activating, and the live view feature not working. Our Wi-Fi router is located near the front door, with only a few devices connected to it. Strangely, this problem has occurred only in the last 2-3 weeks after working flawlessly for 7 months. It's frustrating to be paying for a service that is not operating correctly.

I received a Ring Floodlight Cam Wired Pro as a Christmas gift from my son. I am just now installing it due to the weather. The unit is installed, receiving power, the light is blinking, and it is ready for setup. After multiple unsuccessful attempts and several calls to Ring Support in the past four days, the light is still blinking but the camera is not operational. Despite using my Android phone and tablet to connect, I can't seem to connect to my router. My DSL router is only about 12 feet away through an exterior wall from the camera. I tried setting it up near the router inside as well as outside on a ladder next to the camera without success. I have power cycled the camera, pressed the reset button, and even uninstalled/reinstalled the Ring app, but the issue persists. Unfortunately, I'm stuck in this loop with Ring Support and can't seem to get to a higher level of assistance. The indicator light on the camera has been blinking for 5 days now. What should my next steps be in resolving this?
