I have received three emails notifying me that my flight has been canceled and advising me to reschedule through my travel agent. However, each time I contact my agent, they inform me that the flight is still scheduled and no changes are necessary. I recently booked a flight for two on Qatar Airways' website and provided my privilege club number. Unfortunately, the email linked to my privilege club account, which I set up years ago, is no longer in use, and I cannot recall any details about it. I attempted to update my email on the website but encountered issues. When I contacted customer service twice, they informed me that my name and date of birth did not match, and they were unhelpful in resolving my issue. I am reaching out regarding a disappointing experience I had during my recent trip from Pune to New York via Delhi with Vistara. The ground staff in Pune misinformed me that my checked baggage would be delivered directly to New York. Upon arrival in New York, my baggage was nowhere to be found. The experience was extremely disappointing, and as a result, I have decided that I will not be choosing Qatar Airways for my future travels, nor will my family and friends. The situation with Hope, who refused to let me board with my backpack containing suya and gala, which I had brought for my wife, left me feeling frustrated and upset. I had to discard the items before she allowed me to proceed and nearly missed my flight. The way this was handled has left a lasting negative impression on me. I am traveling from Kolkata, India to Toronto via Doha and Chicago on January 1st, [redacted]. Our flights are QR [redacted] from Kolkata to Doha, QR [redacted] from Doha to Chicago, and AC8914 from Chicago to Toronto. Our booking reference is [redacted]1.
I had two checked bags, and Qatar Airways charged us [redacted] INR in Kolkata for an extra piece of baggage. The Qatar Airways agent in Kolkata explained that Qatar Airways doesn't charge for the 2nd checked bag, but Air Canada does, which is why the charge was applied. Air Canada mentioned that the maximum charge for an extra 2nd bag on an international flight is [redacted] Canadian dollars. I am confused and upset about the high fee for the 2nd bag on this long international journey. Kindly clarify what happened, and I am hopeful for a refund for this additional expense.

I had a flight booked with Qatar Airways from Mumbai to Auckland for 16th Feb [redacted] at 6:10 pm. Unfortunately, the airline changed my itinerary to a flight departing at 4:35 am on 17th Feb [redacted], with a 14.5-hour layover in Doha. I have requested a new itinerary with a reasonable layover time or total travel time, closer to my original plan. Despite contacting the local reservations office multiple times, the service has been unsatisfactory, with calls being disconnected and denied supervisor access. I was told the change was due to a cancelled flight, but the same flight is still bookable on their website.
I am not open to a refund as I have already made arrangements. Changing the itinerary now would be extremely inconvenient due to increased flight fares and existing commitments. I offered flexibility to travel on a different date or transit through Australia, even suggesting specific flights available through the Qatar app, but the executives were uncooperative.

I filed a complaint on October 24th and again on December 2nd. According to DOT rules, a response should be received within 60 days but I have not heard anything. Despite making multiple complaints and escalations, there has been no response from Qatar Airways. I have escalated the matter to the DOT due to the lack of responsiveness.
Upon arrival at Houston Airport, there was no Qatar Airways flight attendant at the gate, resulting in a delayed flight with no updates provided to passengers. This was our family's first international trip with 2 young children. The delay caused us to miss our layover in Doha, requiring rebooking on the next available flight. We experienced difficulties communicating with family and arranging transportation due to the unexpected delay. Subsequently, we were denied entry at Al Mourjan and faced challenges with charging devices, leading to additional stress and expenses. The multiple gate changes further added to our exhaustion and frustration.
I am requesting compensation for the nearly 10-hour delay and the inconvenience caused to our family.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I have received on my travels with Qatar Airways.
On my first international flight with your airline in December [redacted], I was told by phone customer service that I could bring three bags, but at the airport, I was only allowed to bring two, causing stress as a student traveling internationally for the first time.
I have experienced issues with vegetarian meal requests on flights in February [redacted], May [redacted], and most recently today. Despite reserving an Asian vegetarian meal in advance for today's flight, it was not available, and the substitute offered was unsatisfactory. Crew members have also repeatedly offered eggs despite my dietary restrictions.
Attempts to seek help via Twitter and the website's help section have not been fruitful.
I expect a resolution to these recurring problems as they have inconvenienced me greatly. I urge you to address these issues promptly for the benefit of all passengers.

Currently in Buenos Aires, we experienced a 5-hour flight delay from Doha to Sao Paulo, resulting in a missed connection to Buenos Aires, which was then delayed by 22 hours. We managed to board an Ethiopian Airlines flight to Buenos Aires only to discover our luggage did not arrive with us. The uncertainty of the luggage's whereabouts - whether it's still with Qatar Airways, Latam Airlines, or Ethiopian Airlines - has left us stranded at EZE airport without a clear timeline of when we can expect to receive our belongings. The lack of communication and assistance regarding our missing baggage has been frustrating.

My name is Mary Angelin G. and I have a booking reference under 6RHKFR. I am a customer traveling round trip from Malaysia to Cape Town, departing on January 6th and returning on January 17th, with a transit flight in Doha each way. Due to a foot injury, I require wheelchair assistance.
I have paid for extra legroom seats for my round trip with Qatar Airways. However, on my flight from Doha to Cape Town on January 6th, I did not receive the extra legroom I paid for. I was assigned seat 11H, causing me discomfort during the 10-hour flight. I have heard great things about Qatar Airways and this is my first experience flying with you.
For my return flight on January 17th from Cape Town to Doha, I have also paid for extra legroom in seat 17H. I hope to avoid a repeat of the seating issue from my previous flight.
I kindly request reimbursement for the January 6th payment for the unfulfilled extra legroom seat and a proper seat assignment for my flight on January 17th. I would appreciate a prompt resolution to this matter as I am currently in South Africa. Attached are the payment proofs for both trips.
