I am trying to understand why I was charged on November 2, 5, and 8 while using my monthly pass. I regularly take the bus from McCowan and Steeles to work at Woodbine and Steeles and back home. This has been my routine for many years without issues when using the TTC monthly pass. However, since switching to Presto, I am being charged even when not using the YRT service. I am hoping for a refund for the charges incurred without using the service.

I canceled my Presto card, thinking it was stolen, but later found it. Unfortunately, I can't use it anymore. I purchased a new card to transfer the $36 balance, but it's already activated. I was misinformed during the purchase process. Now I have a canceled card with $36 and an activated one with only $1, causing me to waste an extra $6 in fees for the new card. I need either a way to transfer the $36 to the $1 card or a $7 reimbursement for the wasted funds. The system should be updated to prevent others from facing the same issue. I am unable to get assistance from the automated help desk and require a swift resolution since I need the card for work tomorrow. It's unclear why a card needs to be deactivated to receive a fund transfer. Clarification on this process is essential to avoid similar problems in the future. I hope we can resolve this promptly.
