Hello, I am reaching out for assistance. In the early hours of Sunday morning, someone changed my email and password on my POF account. I realized this when I received two alert emails from POF. When I tried to log in, my password was not accepted. Strangely, I am still receiving notifications from POF to my email, but I cannot reset my password. I have only communicated with POF through the alert emails. Their response was generic, and I am unsure what to do next. This situation feels violating, and I would appreciate any help. I had an account with your company and intended to upgrade it. I understood the cost to be $74.99 a year or $9.99 a month. However, after you deducted $9.99 from my debit card, I noticed that over $79 was taken out. This was unexpected and frustrating for me. I had hoped for clarity on the amount deducted. I have reached out via email once before and did not receive a response. This is my second email and I kindly request a prompt reply and a partial refund. Ideally, I believe receiving half of the overcharged amount back is reasonable, but I feel entitled to getting back all except $9.99. I look forward to your prompt response. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Alexis Nash. My username is sweet n sour21. Last night, I was logged into my account, but now I am logged out and unable to log back in. I am certain that my login information is correct. This issue has occurred before, and I hope to resolve it without creating a new account. I have attempted to reset my password by requesting an email, but I am not receiving the emails. When my account is viewed on a friend's POF, my profile information is intact except for missing pictures and a different profile picture of another girl, which I did not change. Hello, I found joining Plenty of Fish easy, but cancelling seems challenging. I haven't been on the site for six months, and they are about to charge my account for another year, which I don't want. My username is LisaK50, but I can't remember my password, and my old email doesn't work anymore. There is a user named Greg Voss who is active on various dating sites and chat apps. He is known to use multiple email addresses and fake accounts, targeting women between the ages of 18-25. Despite claiming to be 39 with children, he manipulates women into sending him pictures and engages in sexting. He uses burner numbers to communicate with them and often lies about his identity. His real name is Gregory Voss, and he works at Big Number One Motor Sports in Homewood, Alabama, and lives in Adamsville, Alabama. I am currently using your dating platform and need to report a user named Arjun, who goes by the username BraveNewWorld20192. He resides in Naperville, Illinois, and has been using racial slurs, specifically calling me a derogatory term. Our communication moved to the app Kik, where he expressed a preference for older Black women, which I respect, but the use of such language is unacceptable. After noticing his activity on another site, he became defensive when I mentioned it. I want to highlight his age discrepancy as well; he claims to be 49 but is actually 39 years old.

I have been a loyal POF customer for some time now, and my account is paid up until the end of the year. Recently, their system was affected by a virus which led to my phone being bombarded with messages from a single "interested" individual over [redacted] times. Despite attempting to adjust my notification settings, the issue persisted until I had to delete my profile entirely to stop the messages. Now, in order to continue using the service, I am being asked to create a new profile and pay again. I am willing to recreate my profile information, but as I have already paid through [redacted], I believe I should either receive a credit or have the remainder of my subscription transferred to a new profile without extra charges. I've attempted numerous times to log in to my original account, username babygorl694022, but I keep getting an error. Frustrated, I created a new account with the username babygirl694023, only to encounter the same issue - "invalid username or password" - despite entering the correct credentials. The situation is exasperating, and I urge you to address this promptly. If not resolved, I will be compelled to leave a negative review on your site and alert others about the lack of issue resolution. I hope this matter can be fixed soon so I can access my account. Otherwise, I will have to warn others to avoid your site due to unresolved problems.

My phone was compromised by your website. I removed my account and uninstalled the application. After creating a new profile, it malfunctioned again within a week. Despite making multiple new profiles, I faced the same issue each time. Recently, I created a new profile on my work computer successfully. However, upon logging in from my phone, adding pictures, and closing the app, I could not access my account later. The system claims my login details are incorrect when I know they are not. I am worried because my pictures are trapped in the account, and I am unable to retrieve them. How can I delete my pictures and deactivate the profile if I can't sign in? I want my profile and images removed.

My account was compromised and used by someone posing as a woman when I am a man. The situation led to some humorous misunderstandings. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my account or create a new one. I would appreciate help regaining control of my account due to concerns about the hacker having access to my information. It might be best to reset the account completely. I am Robert Han, known as user Hanzo412. Messages were sent without my knowledge, and I have tried to delete my profile without success. Additionally, I encountered issues receiving emails from POF to reset my password and faced difficulty deleting a specific conversation that seemed connected to the problem.

I attempted to retrieve my password on Plenty of Fish and was directed to a representative for assistance. They requested $3.99 to help with the process. After providing payment information for $[redacted] via Apple Cash, the money was taken out of my account to a suspicious number. Apple confirmed it was a scam. I am seeking a refund from Plenty of Fish and caution others about this issue. I had to delete my account due to the fraudulent experience involving their representative for password retrieval.

I have been using this site for three years. I've only managed to date one person during this time. Whenever I log in, I keep seeing the same man repeating in my matches. Despite my attempts to bring this to your attention before, I continue to receive the same matches. Even after adjusting my age preferences, I still encounter the same issue. Men listed in their 30s are found in their fifties and sixties categories, suggesting an error on the platform. It seems like the same men get displayed across different age groups, limiting variety. Many of these individuals seem to be interested in casual encounters, which isn't what I'm looking for. It's frustrating to see the same profiles repeatedly, some of whom have been on the site as long as I have. I hope you can address this issue promptly. Thank you for your assistance. - DC221

I have been scammed of almost $2,[redacted] by so-called lottery scammers who claimed it was for courier fees. They now demand an additional $[redacted] after instructing me to buy a Google gift card, which I did. I am a 72-year-old widow surviving on Social Security. They tricked me by falsely claiming I won a POF lottery. I am lost and unsure what steps to take. Please reach out to me via email or text at [redacted] urgently as they are making threats. I am experiencing difficulties accessing my POF accounts due to issues with resetting the password. Despite trying multiple times to reset it, I am not receiving the reset emails. I have been a loyal member of POF for many years without any issues. However, recently, I have been unable to log in despite using my usual credentials. I have tried using both my User Name and email address to no avail. When attempting to reset my password by clicking on "Forgot Password" and entering my email address, I never receive the reset email. I have verified that the email address I used is correct and even added POF to my Contact list, but the issue persists. Although I receive notifications for new messages, I am unable to access my inbox. This situation is frustrating as I am certain I am entering the correct login information. I have used various dating sites before, but this one seems to have a peculiar policy I have not encountered on other platforms. I value associating with people of diverse ages, nationalities, religions, and sexual orientations to lead a healthy life. However, I find this site to be discriminatory, especially regarding age restrictions. Despite being directed to the site through marketing, I feel restricted in selecting the age groups I wish to interact with. I contacted POF and was unaware it was a third-party customer service. John from customer service at [redacted] claimed he could help me become a secure member by purchasing eBay gift cards due to payment issues. Initially asked for a $50 eBay card, then requested 2 more cards totaling $[redacted]. Later, advised to buy an additional $[redacted] in cards as the server was down. Following day, a request for $[redacted] more for a refund was made, which I couldn't afford. Upon speaking to Samer Patel and later Justin Hyman, was told to spend $50 and $[redacted] more for a $[redacted] refund, which I found distressing and unaffordable. Planning to escalate the issue to CEO Markus Frind for a refund request of $[redacted] spent. Bogus company representatives asking for additional money for refunds.

On September 18th and 19th, I attempted to sign in to POF without any success. This issue is new to me, and despite multiple tries and clicking on 'Forgot Password' to reset my password via email, I never received the email from POF. I have followed all the steps in the 'Help' section, reached out to POF Customer Service, but still have not received a satisfactory response even a day later. I am feeling frustrated and upset as I am unable to access my account through no fault of my own. It seems like POF is not making any effort to assist me or even acknowledge the issue. I am unsure how to resolve this situation, and without being able to log in, I am unable to use the site further. This experience with their service has been disappointing, and I am at a loss.

I've been unable to log in to POF since September 18, [redacted]. Dealing with POF Customer Service has been a nightmare. They insist that there is no issue because my account shows logins, but I am clearly unable to access it. This situation is extremely frustrating as I've never encountered this problem before. Despite following all suggested steps in the 'Help' section, nothing resolves the login issue. Feeling upset and stuck in a loop with unhelpful responses, I am in dire need of a solution to access my account.
