I recently received a one-week ban that I believe was unjust. I was in a group chat with friends and innocently shared a picture of another friend. Someone reported it as a joke, leading to a warning from PlayStation. The content was harmless, not violating any guidelines. Subsequently, a friend reported a message where I jokingly said "cock gay gay," which was meant as humor between us. Despite no harmful intent in either incident, I received a ban due to these reports.

I am seeking assistance regarding the block on my IP address and Playstation account. The account in question is [redacted] Recently, I purchased a PS4 Pro with a FIFA20 bundle and later acquired a CD for the Crew game. While playing online, particularly in the football ultimate team, I suddenly found myself blocked from accessing online features. Despite confirming my internet connection is stable, I encountered issues specifically with PSN services. Subsequently, all attempts at creating a new account have been met with failure as I am unable to log into the PlayStation website. Each time I try to sign in or create a new user, I receive an error message stating "connection to the server timed out." Strangely, I can access the site from a different location using a different device, indicating the issue may be specific to my setup. Around a week ago, I noticed achievements for Grand Theft Auto 5 on my account although I do not own the game. This made me realize someone else was using my account. The person even added a friend named Xenihum to my friends list. I've been repeatedly getting logged out of my PlayStation and it's frustrating knowing someone is accessing my account without consent. I took action by resetting my password and deactivating my account from all PlayStation devices. Now, my account is only active on my own PlayStation and fortunately, the issue seems to have stopped. I hope there is a way to address this as it feels like a form of theft. I would appreciate any support to prevent this individual or their friend from doing the same to others. I am experiencing a problem when trying to download new games on my PS4 system. While I can play games like Fortnite or Black Ops that are already downloaded, when I try to download a new game like Borderlands 3 or the most recent Call of Duty release, the process does not work properly. The download appears to finish according to notifications, but when I open the game, it restarts the download. Additionally, after restarting or powering off my PS4, I notice that the digital games I purchased are not available in the store. This issue first occurred with Borderlands 3, and now it is happening with new releases like the latest Call of Duty game. Despite having sufficient storage space ([redacted]+ GBs) and no notifications of insufficient space, the problem persists with both digital and disc-based games like GTA and other Call of Duty titles. I am considering getting a new system. Is it possible to receive a refund for the new Modern Warfare game to my PS Store wallet to avoid repurchasing it? I tried to log into my PSN account and was shocked to find out it was banned due to alleged terms of service violations. The issue arose when I was unable to download Final Fantasy X from the store after having saved data from the disc version. Despite contacting my bank for a refund, Sony banned my account without any explanation. I value the saved data from hours of gameplay and would appreciate assistance in retrieving it, even if the account remains banned.

Yesterday, I encountered an issue while trying to upload a capture from ShareFactory on my PS4 to YouTube. After watching a YouTube video, I learned it was a bug and logging out of PSN and restarting the PS4 should resolve it. However, upon signing out, I faced difficulty signing back in due to the two-step verification process needing a code from a phone number I no longer have access to. Even though Sony's PlayStation website suggests using a backup code, I couldn't sign in to PSN without the two-step verification. This has left me unable to access patches, digital games, the online store, and video sharing, rendering my console almost unusable. Despite attempts to contact PSN support, the service was closed, leaving me worried about playing my PlayStation Pro online. In summary, the 2-step verification requires a password and a code sent to an old phone number, leaving me locked out without a feasible solution.

A few years ago, my old account "rob48423" was hacked when I was younger, and I was clueless about how to recover it. Recently, I found out what steps to take and attempted to seek support from Sony. Unfortunately, they refused to assist me, claiming my account "rob48424" had been "banned," despite me not using it at that time. I tried explaining how my account was stolen and misused, resulting in the ban, but the support team was unhelpful and quickly ended the conversation. I invested a significant amount of money in that account for DLCs, games, and other items. I've exhausted various methods to reclaim my account, but it remains unavailable. I'm at a loss for what else to try.

I am experiencing a rather complex issue. I have forgotten my password and wish to change it. The options to reset the password require either answering a security question or providing a birth date. I initiated the download of Call of Duty Modern Warfare at 10:43 PM on 10/24/19. It indicated it would need about 10 hours. I allowed it to download until approximately 12:45 AM. Upon waking up and turning on the PS4, it displayed an additional 28 hours for completion. Leaving it to download during my workday, I returned to find 12 hours remaining. Leaving it on, I noticed at 8:30 PM that the PS4 had turned off. Upon restarting, a system error prompted an update; however, upon closing the error message, the system froze. Following a failed attempt to power it off, the system made a strange noise and shut down. After restarting, Call of Duty was still downloading with 6 hours left, but then an "Unable to download" message appeared. Attempting to resume crashed the PS4, leading it to continuously power on and off. Frustrated by these issues, I seek resolution through either repairing the console or receiving a refund considering my investment in the PlayStation and games, along with the added frustration of the console issues.

Hello, I am having an issue with a pre-ordered game I bought a month ago from the PS Store before its release: Call of Duty Modern Warfare. When I attempt to play it, I encounter corrupted data while trying to download the game. I have followed all the steps provided by PlayStation support, such as deleting and re-downloading the game, but it consistently freezes and stops downloading, displaying an error message stating the data is corrupted (CE-[redacted]-9). Despite initializing my PS4, accessing safe mode numerous times, and rebuilding the database, the issue persists. It has now been changed to Faek-Taxi with the name John-Doe. I believe that USGC_Kitty is the person who hacked my account and gave it away. I am experiencing a problem with my PS4 console. I am unable to navigate the "Safe Mode" menu properly as my cursor is restricted to option 7, Initialize PS4/Reinstall System Software. Despite attempting to update using a USB drive with the file, the system keeps rejecting it. I have verified the file, reinstalled it multiple times, and ensured no duplicate files on the drive. I previously updated the console via an internet connection in "Safe Mode" which is now malfunctioning. I intended to reset the system to factory settings and select a new hard drive without losing data. However, my console is stuck in a cycle of demanding, failing, and restarting, forcing me to cut power using a surge protector due to the inability to shut down normally. This issue began when the console shut off unexpectedly while I was playing a game, prompting me to check for dust near the power button which inadvertently shut down the console.

I purchased the $[redacted] version of NHL 20 along with pre-ordering it. The experience has been disappointing due to the problematic servers, making it hard to play. It feels like a waste of money. In contrast, FIFA 20 is engaging and fun without any network issues. I'm considering a refund for NHL 20. This is the first time I've encountered such problems with a game, despite being a fan of the NHL series since [redacted]. It's frustrating as a dedicated PlayStation and EA fan. I've been experiencing difficulty accessing my PSN account for the last two days. Although my internet connection is working, I keep getting a failure message when attempting to connect to the PSN. Initially, I suspected my router might be blocking Sony's server IP due to a recent DDOS attack I experienced. I've reset both my router and PS4, and even reached out to my ISP, but they found no issues on their end. Interestingly, my sister can log into my account from her PS4, but I specifically can't on mine. Strangely, I can only log in using my phone data, not when connected to WiFi. It's worth mentioning that several of my friends are encountering the same problem, which began at the same time as my issue. My login attempts result in the error code NP-[redacted]-6.
