I recently received an email informing me of a ban on my PS4 account. This is surprising, as my account was hacked back in March [redacted]. I've since transitioned to PC, but due to my PC breaking, I returned to my PS4. I've been hit with a 30-day ban for allegedly sending malicious texts/images, a charge I deny as I haven't used my account since last year. Yesterday, I powered on my PlayStation 5 only to encounter an error message informing me of a permanent suspension due to a supposed breach of terms and conditions. I am confused as I have not engaged in any improper behavior and have maintained these accounts for years without any violations. Kindly assist me in having my accounts reinstated as I believe this suspension is unwarranted. The error code displayed is ws-[redacted]-4.

A few months back, I sold my PS4 and took all necessary steps to ensure my accounts were removed from the system. Upon checking my bank account today, July 9th, at 5:24 pm, I noticed a $26.74 charge from PlayStation. Since I no longer have the PS4 or access to my account, I would appreciate a refund as I am currently tight on funds and saving up for a new truck.

Good evening, I'm Leopoldo U. My PlayStation 3 has been suspended with the message: "Access to the Sony Entertainment System has been temporarily blocked or suspended (8002A227)." I didn't receive any email notification about this. I'm confused about why this happened as I've had my console for 5 to 6 years without any prior issues. While my older son was visiting, he used my PlayStation account without my knowledge and got into an argument with another user who reported him. As a result, I have been banned for a week, which is causing distress to my 3-year-old son, who relies on the PlayStation for his shows due to his autism. I have been a loyal member of PlayStation for 8 years and have never encountered any issues before. It would be greatly appreciated if my suspension could be appealed, as I did not personally engage in any wrongdoing.

I recently updated my phone number and now I can't access my account because the two-step verification code is being sent to my old number. I can log in fine with my password and email, but the issue arises in the second step. I've tried reaching out to chat support, but they redirect me to customer support since I'm in Central California, United States. I've been attempting to resolve this for over a month now without success. There doesn't seem to be a clear way on the support page to update my phone number or disable two-step verification. This frustrating experience might lead me to reconsider being a loyal customer. As a disabled veteran, I've never encountered such poor customer service. While playing the game Rust on a European server as a USA player, I encountered a challenging situation when my base was raided. The individuals who raided my base made inappropriate racial remarks about Americans in the in-game chat. After losing my belongings and the ability to communicate with them, I reacted emotionally by sending voice messages in response. Consequently, I believe I was reported, banned, and unfairly treated compared to the player who made offensive comments without repercussions. The lack of monitoring in the PlayStation chat system allowed such behavior to persist unchecked. I am troubled by the imbalance in enforcing the Terms of Service within the game community. The impact of the ban has restricted my access to various internet applications, including services like Netflix and Hulu, for which I hold subscriptions. I am considering taking legal action due to the financial losses incurred and the ongoing PlayStation subscription. I seek resolution to this issue or will escalate my concerns further.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my Playstation 4 three days ago (08/07/[redacted]) when I attempted to play. I selected my user profile and discovered that I was logged out, prompting me to input my PSN account details again. Upon entering my email and password, a message appeared indicating that the password was incorrect. Despite being certain of the accuracy of my password, the error persisted. Subsequently, I confirmed an email from Sony informing me of a recent password change on my account, a change I did not authorize. Suspecting unauthorized access, I endeavored to reset my password through Sony's website. However, despite their assurance of an email to assist with the reset, I never received it. As a result, my account remains inaccessible, leaving me uncertain of the next steps to regain access. I am seeking guidance on resolving this security breach promptly. I am having trouble with my PS4 as it keeps saying my password is wrong when I log in. Despite resetting it daily, the issue persists. The password reset emails are not coming through to my inbox, and the online assistant bot only redirects me to a phone number for help. My issue arose a month ago when Sony notified me that the email associated with my PSN account was changed without my knowledge, preventing me from accessing my account. Despite attempting to contact Sony, I could only reach the UK support due to difficulties dialing the US number from my foreign country. The UK team explained they couldn't assist with my American region account and suggested I contact the US team, which I couldn't do without the necessary area code. Considering Live chat support as an alternative, I discovered it was closed. As a result, I am seeking assistance to connect with a Live chat Agent as advised by the UK team. This morning, I received an email stating I was banned from the platform. However, I believe this is a mistake. During my dad's birthday party yesterday, my little cousin visited and played on the PS4 without permission. I was not present, and I did not condone his actions. I have invested over $[redacted] in this account and had a Plus subscription for more than three years. I assure you that I have not violated any terms of service, and I request that my account be reinstated. I will take measures to prevent unauthorized access to my console in the future. After moving my PS4 console, it began ejecting game discs. Although the ejecting issue resolved after a few days of being off, I now encounter login errors on my PSN account. Despite having internet access, it indicates login/password issues or that I can't log in as another player. I recently sold my previous PS4 but reset it before doing so. I suspect my PSN account might still be linked to it. This problem suddenly emerged right before my move, even as I was using my account on the console. I'm concerned about losing all the progress and games saved on my account. Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Sony, I recently received a permanent ban without any valid reason. I wasn't even playing the game when the ban occurred; I was simply in a party with friends who falsely reported me. Despite my numerous emails and phone calls seeking clarification, I have received no satisfactory response after over 30 attempts. This unjust ban has kept me away from my beloved PlayStation for 7 months now. While I admit to a previous ban that was rightfully deserved, this recent ban for innocently listening to music in a solo party is extremely unfair. Customers like myself who have invested time and money into this platform should at least receive a proper explanation for such actions. It seems that customer concerns are not being addressed adequately, leaving many feeling unsupported. I sincerely hope Sony addresses these issues promptly.

I am unsure why a chargeback occurred and frustrated with being directed to a support bot. I prefer speaking with a human to address this issue. Just recently, I repaid $23.99, even though I shouldn't have been responsible as my account was compromised. Despite assurances of a refund for the unauthorized purchase, I ended up reimbursing the amount. Now, another chargeback is affecting me, without any clear details provided. The lack of transparency is aggravating. I no longer wish to maintain my PlayStation account. Communication regarding chargebacks should be clearer to avoid unexpected repayments. The current support system and handling of operations are dissatisfactory. I urge better communication and accountability from the support team.

My PS4 account got hacked, resulting in unauthorized charges on my credit card. I immediately contacted my credit card company upon receiving a fraud alert, confirming the unauthorized charges and cancelling the card. However, Play Station suspended my account due to chargebacks. Despite explaining the situation and submitting a form, I am now being asked to pay to reactivate my account. The frustration mounts as even the PlayStation support advises contacting the credit card company, which I have already done. The customer support number I found mentions it can't assist with suspended accounts, leaving me at a loss as I struggle to find an alternative contact number.

For the past few days, I've been increasingly frustrated with my attempts to reset my PSN account password. Despite paying my annual subscription, I can't play online due to this issue. I'm disappointed with the lack of live assistance available to address this problem promptly. My account keeps getting signed out without my doing so, and I haven't received the confirmation email to reset my password as I've done before. I've also tried unsuccessfully to create a new account. I urgently need help to regain access to my account details. If this matter isn't resolved swiftly, I will consider canceling my PlayStation subscription due to the inadequate customer support. I am having trouble removing the family manager status from my account, preventing me from purchasing PS Plus due to age restrictions on payment methods. Despite being 21 and capable of managing my own account, I mistakenly entered the wrong birth year and cannot correct it. I attempted to charge PS Plus to the family manager's account, but there were insufficient funds. I have another account with the correct birth year that I wish to make the family manager, but I am unsure how to proceed. I have searched extensively online for solutions to remove the family manager status with no success. Contacting Sony by phone has been unfruitful due to busy lines.
