Dear People Magazine,
My renewal is approaching, and upon receiving the latest issue featuring a cover story on Barack Obama, I felt offended. The choice to highlight an ex-president while neglecting coverage of President Trump, Melania, or their son Barron is disappointing. Many feel that Obama's actions were detrimental to the country, especially considering his alleged involvement in corruption against Trump during and after the [redacted] election. His continuous public presence, including the timing of his recent book release, is concerning. This biased editorial decision has led me to decide not to renew my subscription to People magazine. I prefer not to support publications that seem to endorse individuals with questionable ethics.
Sincerely,
Leona G.

The family attorney conveyed, "The overwhelming love and support we've received is beyond words. We can feel the embrace and prayers surrounding us, and we are deeply thankful."
It's true, the loss of the children is devastating, but the outpouring of support is greatly appreciated.

I have not received my People magazine this week. I attempted to report it over the phone and experienced a brief wait before being disconnected without resolution. I am requesting another paper copy of People magazine and a more efficient phone service or a simpler way to report missing issues. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide my account number since I do not have the issue at hand. My details are as follows: Maryl Becker, [redacted] NW 209th St., Ridgefield, WA [redacted]. Thank you.

I gifted a People magazine from August 17, [redacted] (Vol. 94 - No. 7) to my daughter-in-law because there was a touching article that resonated with her situation. The piece featured an Asian woman sharing her struggles with postpartum depression three months after giving birth while being pregnant again. Our daughter-in-law is also facing similar challenges and is due with their second baby in about three to four weeks. In the article, the woman mentioned a book she authored, and I am eager to find out the title, author's name to gift it to her for Christmas. Unfortunately, she misplaced the magazine, but I have kept the others and believe this specific issue contains the article. Any assistance in identifying the book and author would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. - Anneke

I have encountered issues receiving damaged copies of People magazine in my recent deliveries. Three out of the last six issues have arrived with ripped pages, missing covers, or being soaking wet, making them unreadable. The affected issues include those dated October 26th, November 30th, and December 7th. I kindly request replacements for these damaged copies and would appreciate any additional assistance or considerations you can provide, as this problem has occurred intermittently throughout my subscription period. Your cooperation in resolving this matter is greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
Jeff S.

Last Saturday, I picked up our weekly issue of People magazine dated December 14th. However, I was disappointed to find only the cover page with my mailing address on it. There were no internal pages of the magazine included. I have waited until today, December 9th, hoping to receive the missing bonus edition copy, but it has not arrived. I would appreciate it if you could send me the missing copy as I was intrigued by the lead-in descriptions on the cover and would like to read the complete story.
Respectfully,
Shirley B.

I have not received the last two editions of People Magazine. The first one features Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn, and the second one features Dr. Fauci. I recently discovered this issue online. I have been a loyal subscriber for many years, and I would like to receive these missing magazines. Last year, when I faced a similar issue, my subscription was extended. Please ensure that I receive these two issues promptly.

Hello, I'm reaching out because I recently received a copy of People magazine that I did not request or subscribe to. I would like to return it without opening the packaging, as there seems to be a statement inside. While People magazine is enjoyable, I am not interested in a subscription at this time and do not wish to incur any unexpected costs. Could you please advise on where I should return it to? Thank you.

I have not received my People Magazine for the past two weeks, which has been a recurring issue for the past four months or longer. I have been a subscriber for several years, and it used to reliably arrive on Fridays. Although I'm aware delays may be due to the pandemic, this ongoing problem is frustrating. I am considering canceling my subscription if the delivery continues to be irregular. My husband initially ordered it as a Christmas gift, and it automatically renews each year. I would appreciate it if you could investigate this matter. Thank you, Susanne D.

Hello, I received a renewal subscription offer in the mail a few weeks ago for $20, and being a long-time customer, I sent in a check (check number [redacted] dated 12/4/20) for that amount. However, I recently received an invoice from People magazine stating I owe $89.10 for renewal, despite already paying. My account number is [redacted]92. I do not want my delivery suspended as indicated in the invoice. I kindly request that you honor the $20 promotion I paid for or refund me. I hope to receive my magazine soon as my check has been cashed. Thank you.

I have not received my issue of People for two weeks now. My mail carrier, who is wonderful, has searched for it without success. I purchase the magazine to support my daughter's Girl Scouts troop at a discounted rate. I don't think it's right to have to pay $5.00 for a replacement when it doesn't show up, especially since this is the third issue that has gone missing. I would like these missing copies to be replaced or my subscription extended by 4 weeks. Thank you, Elizabeth H.

Hello, back in September [redacted], I completed a subscription form from People Magazine for $58. Despite this, I have not received any magazines yet. The payment was processed by my bank, but the magazines have not been delivered. I am requesting a refund for the undelivered subscription. Thank you for your assistance.

I have already raised my concerns but I would like to provide additional details. I am dissatisfied with the business practices of your company. It is your responsibility to address any issues I, as a customer, encounter. I have already canceled my subscription to People, thus considering this matter closed. The only outstanding matter is regarding an invoice I received. The invoice lacks dates explaining the payment and reasons for the requested amount. I noticed the mention of extending my subscription to [redacted] if I pay this invoice, but my People issues have featured this [redacted] date for a while. Therefore, the onus to resolve this issue falls on your end. Kindly contact me via email at [redacted] with an explanation and your proposed solution. Thank you, S. Stewart.

Hello, my spouse and I both receive monthly People Magazine subscriptions that we secretly ordered for each other. If not feasible, I'd like to update his address to our daughter, Rachel M., at [redacted] Overland Dr., Plano, TX [redacted]. The current subscription is under:

[redacted] MacGregor Dr.

Kindly email me at [redacted] once this is addressed. Thank you for your assistance.

We are suddenly receiving the February 15 issue of People magazine at our address, but we did not subscribe to it. The magazine is addressed to Mario Weiss, not us, at our Michigan home where we have lived for over 60 years. We do not want this magazine and request that you find out Mario Weiss's correct address and deliver the magazine there. Please discontinue sending it to us immediately. We have already contacted the Better Business Bureau about this issue. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.

I am currently subscribed to People Magazine but have been receiving the Spanish version instead of the English one. Contacting People's customer service at 1-[redacted], I explained the issue and was directed to call 1-[redacted] for assistance. Upon calling the second number, I encountered another representative who informed me that they could only cancel and reorder the subscription, not change the language preference. Despite my request to switch to the English version, I was told it couldn't be done. Feeling frustrated with the lack of assistance, I expressed my dissatisfaction with the customer service and have decided to discontinue my subscription with People Magazine. It would be beneficial for People Magazine to provide better training to their representatives and have English-speaking customer service available.

In January, an article was published about the incidents at Fort Hood involving the death of my son, regarding which I'd like to address some inaccuracies. My son was a passenger, not the driver, in a vehicle that wasn't his. I am seeking legal representation as Fort Hood failed to uphold proper procedures. The vehicle, unregistered for two years and equipped with bald tires, was driven by Anthony Peak without a valid license. Unit sergeants are responsible for vehicle inspections, a process clearly neglected here. I have reached out to my congressman for assistance, but Fort Hood's reluctance to delve deeper into the matter is concerning. A retraction is requested, clarifying my son's role in the accident. Moreover, it is my belief that Anthony wasn't the driver, but rather the sole survivor, who went uninvestigated by Texas State police. I urge for a thorough investigation into this deeply troubling situation. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Good afternoon,
I am a survivor of human trafficking and I am currently involved in one of the largest federal lawsuits in America against multiple prominent hotels that allowed this to happen to me on their properties. Additionally, they were complicit and engaged in my torment.
I resided in a luxurious tropical area in southwest Florida meant for the ultra-wealthy and influential individuals. Despite this, I am now dedicated to unveiling the dark underworld that many aren't aware of.
I am reaching out today to express my gratitude to PEOPLE MAGAZINE for providing the inspiration for me to come forward and seek justice. Around [redacted] or [redacted], I came across a story in your magazine about a girl who was kidnapped or ran away and was pushed into human trafficking at hotels, being advertised on the Backpage website. This story closely mirrored my own experience.
Following the intervention of the SWAT team at the hotel, my captors were arrested, and I vowed to work towards preventing another girl from enduring such a horrific ordeal. Through reading your magazine, I discovered that I could pursue a civil lawsuit against the hotels, and I have been committed to this cause ever since. Thank you for maintaining diversity in your magazine.
Feel free to reach out to me.

I did not subscribe to People. I have received two issues and a bill for $54.00. I previously received mail trying to get me to subscribe to People. Both times, I sent it back with a note saying I would never subscribe to a biased magazine until they put a picture of our first lady on the cover. You never did put Melania Trump on the cover. I do not want your magazine. I did not sign up for it, and I don't want it sent to me or be charged for it.

I received my first issue of People Magazine on February 24th. However, I did not get the one for the week of March 1st. After calling customer service, I was informed that due to Covid, there could be delays and that the March 1st issue might arrive on March 8th or 9th. When it did not arrive, I called again on March 11th and was given a similar explanation, with an estimated arrival date of the 15th or 16th.
The issue here is the repeated misinformation provided, especially when other friends with subscriptions have not experienced delays. I have purchased the missing issues at the store but am puzzled by the disparity in delivery times. I believe honesty is key in such situations. I would like to request an extension of my subscription for the two weeks of missed delivery and ensure regular weekly delivery going forward as per my payment terms.
Thank you,
P. Brink
