I created an American PayPal account for Apple Store purchases while in the USA, necessitating an American prepaid Visa and phone number. After moving to Canada and closing my US bank accounts, I am unable to verify my PayPal account as I no longer have access to the old number or card. Despite being told by a supervisor to create a new account for fund transfer, no action has been taken in 4 months. Support has been unhelpful with no recorded notes on the issue or access to a supervisor. Seeking capable assistance with this unresolved matter.

I have been unable to access my account for a year and a half now. My card has been lost or stolen, and I do not know the card number. I no longer have access to the phone numbers associated with my account, and my security answers have been changed, preventing me from logging in or resetting my password. I am interested in obtaining a new card but need to resolve this issue first to log in, which currently seems impossible. The same issue is occurring with my PayPal prepaid account, causing significant frustration. Alternatively, I may consider closing both accounts and obtaining a prepaid card from Visa.

I have an open case, PP-D-[redacted]3, opened on April 19, [redacted], regarding an item purchased on eBay and paid for through PayPal. Here is the correspondence with the seller on eBay for your reference: Original Message from seller, gilroy2012: "Thank you for your message, we are sorry to know that. The shipment may be a little delayed on the way due to some unexpected situation, hope you can kindly understand this. Can you please kindly wait another week? Thanks." My Response: "What you do is a SCAM. I know about this from other people who described it. You sent me a piece of plastic of 10 cents which I do not know what it is, and posted my order as delivered. You included a note that you are out of stock and I should wait longer and be patient. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE POSTED MY ORDER AS DELIVERED WHEN IT WAS NOT DELIVERED. Refund my account ASAP as I opened a case with PayPal and I will inform eBay and other buyers of what you did also. REFUND MY ACCOUNT IMMEDIATELY!" Seller's Response: "The item you received is a gift we give you first, it is a compensation for the item delay, hope you understand this. The item you ordered is on the way, usually, it takes 4 weeks to arrive, hope you can be patient to wait for it, thanks." I paid $39.91 with PayPal on April 3, [redacted], and the estimated delivery date was between April 22nd and May 1st. Tracking number: ES[redacted]409NG[redacted]1B0A.

I am unable to access the funds I received from eBay because my account is limited. I have requested on three different occasions to switch my business account to a personal one as I initially signed up for the wrong account type. Unfortunately, my money is currently on hold with no resolution in sight. Dealing with PayPal has been extremely frustrating as I have had to endure long wait times of 3-5 hours only to speak with unhelpful representatives who cannot provide a solution, leaving me stuck with the same problem repeatedly. I urgently need assistance to rectify this issue as I am tired of waiting for access to my rightful funds.

PayPal has put restrictions on my account citing a vague system flag that they refuse to clarify. Despite four frustrating phone calls with long wait times, they have not resolved the issue or given me a reason for the limitation. I am fed up and baffled by their unhelpful responses. I am now seeking to close my account and transfer funds to my debit account. It seems they are unable to switch my account type from business to personal. Any assistance is appreciated.

I encountered difficulty processing a payment last week on PayPal due to security concerns. I spoke with Godfrey from their customer service, who suggested linking another account or debit card, which I didn't have. As a result, I resorted to sending a money order. However, PayPal tried to withdraw payment twice, resulting in a red exclamation and requests for an alternate method. This led to two overdraft fees of $35 each from my bank, Family Trust. My PayPal account has been restricted. I was requested to provide verification information around a month ago, and I promptly submitted it about two weeks ago. Although PayPal assured a review within 2-3 days, my documents haven't been evaluated yet. I got an email declaring my account as restricted due to the lack of information. The issue persists as I've already submitted all necessary details awaiting review. The current status is that my account remains restricted until all details are deemed acceptable by PayPal.

On April 1st, I placed an order for 1 cat tree through a company using PayPal for payment. The transaction number is 0HV959830J860222L. While ordering the product priced at $39 each, the system mistakenly processed 2 items instead of 1. I tried to backtrack my steps to cancel the unintentional order but couldn't locate an option to do so. I reached out to PayPal for help and was advised to visit the resolution center and file my issue. However, I haven't received the product to return, nor have I received a refund of $79.98. I've followed the necessary steps to escalate my concern, but each time I attempt to submit my case, I encounter an error in the system, prompting me to start over. This ongoing issue is frustrating, and I am in need of effective customer support.

Hello, I encountered some issues while setting up my account. Initially, I created one using my Australian visa card in New Zealand, but I couldn't send money in Australian dollars. I then tried setting up a new account with all my Australian details, but I made several mistakes along the way. Despite my attempts, I cannot recall completing the account creation on paypal.com with my Australian details. I used an Australian mobile number during setup, which I don't have access to in New Zealand. Could you please cancel any login attempts from your end to allow me to retry setting up the account? I suspect I have been a victim of a scam involving two $[redacted] charges. After receiving an email about airline ticket purchases using my PayPal account, I was instructed to process and immediately re-credit these charges to confirm my bank account. Despite contacting Chase bank and being initially reassured the charges would be reversed, they remain pending. It is evident that the transactions sent to the PayPal account via Chase Quick Pay were fraudulent. I am eager to have these charges refunded promptly.

I placed an order with Personal Creations on 4/24 around 4:30 AM for a child's First Communion locket with order #[redacted]65. During checkout, I selected PayPal for payment, but was informed of a payment decline. I provided my MasterCard ending in [redacted] as requested. Although I wasn't redirected to your site, I received a confirmation email from you that the order was processed. I have also reached out to them via email regarding this issue. Hello PayPal, I made a purchase using a gift card through PayPal as a guest for $43. The merchant I bought the product from issued a refund, but the funds have not appeared on my Vanilla Visa gift card. After contacting the gift card company, they advised me to seek a refund through PayPal. The merchant informed me that my funds were returned to my card, but I have not received them. My gift card number is 4[redacted] 6[redacted], the name associated with the card is Gabriel Cordova, the expiration date is 02/24, and the CVC is [redacted]. I received a notice from PayPal regarding a limitation on my account due to recent activity involving large sums of money. To address this, I provided the necessary documentation including my driver's license, business details, latest bank statement, and an explanation of my transactions. I am experiencing an issue with PayPal where my debit card connected to the account is being charged for purchases despite having a sufficient PayPal balance. The system should be using the funds in my PayPal account first before charging my card, as indicated in the policy. However, this is not happening and it is causing frustration. I have made multiple transactions, but my balance remains untouched. I was instructed by a supervisor to verify my account once more to receive my money promptly. After following the instructions provided, PayPal took $30 and put a hold on my funds. Following a 45-minute wait on the phone, I requested to speak with a supervisor but was abruptly disconnected. Upon calling back, the automated system informed me that you were closed. I spent a total of 4.5 hours attempting to access my funds for a job scheduled for tomorrow. This experience with PayPal has been extremely unprofessional, leaving me feeling cornered. I have never encountered such unprofessional conduct from a company before. Now, I have seven individuals depending on payment in the morning while PayPal withholds my funds due to misleading activities, causing me significant frustration as it risks my job.

I noticed an unauthorized charge of £[redacted].00 to a music store in Seven Oaks, England on my account. I immediately contacted my bank to stop the payment and reported it as fraudulent. Despite this, PayPal sent me aggressive emails claiming I owed them money for a purchase I never made, as I have never been to England. I received three debt collection letters, but after contacting them, they assured me they would resolve the issue with PayPal. Even though PayPal acknowledged the fraud in emails, I am unable to speak with anyone directly about the situation. I am deeply upset by the lack of assistance I have received. I have kept all documentation and contacted the police. Although PayPal mentioned refunding me, I don't need one since I never authorized any transactions. I feel unfairly targeted as a criminal rather than a victim in this case.

I recently spoke to a Paypal representative who informed me that my account was compromised and a credit line was opened by an unauthorized party. I took immediate action and closed my account. Unfortunately, the representative I spoke to was unhelpful and impolite, stating that I would be accountable for the fraudulent charges unless I used Google Wallet. It is concerning that I only discovered this breach when I called about another issue. The fact that someone with a different email address accessed my account raises serious security concerns. Additionally, I feel unjustly pressured to use Google Wallet to resolve this when I should have been contacted through my registered email or phone number. PayPal has restricted access to my account due to my online business selling LEGAL antique/collector firearms. As a 50-state compliant Federal Firearms dealer with over 35 years of experience, this action has caused issues with receiving payments and accessing funds. I have heard of cases where it takes [redacted]+ days to resolve similar situations. The lack of customer service and perceived fraudulent activity have led me to advise against using PayPal. Consumer reports and ratings on the FTC website portray a negative image of the company.

Good morning, I purchased a remote TV control from the company Tom Gadget on 29/3/18 for $33.98. Upon receiving it, we discovered it was a generic brand instead of the Sony we thought we had bought. Despite trying to make it work with the help of three individuals, it remains dysfunctional. I've reached out to the company multiple times via email about this faulty item but have yet to receive a refund or resolution. I'm becoming frustrated with the lack of response. I simply want to return the item and get a refund, but I'm unsure how to proceed. I've noticed similar products are available for half the price at local electronic stores, but my main concern is resolving this issue with Tom Gadget.
