To the concerned party, On October 12, [redacted], a payment was received via PayPal from the email address for services rendered by our transport company in the UK. The initial payment of £[redacted] was for shipping goods from Oldham to an address near Birmingham. Subsequently, in late June [redacted], the same individual, Jay Trice, contacted us once more for services to move goods from Birmingham to an auction house in Yorkshire. Another payment was processed through PayPal for this job. However, 21 days later, PayPal informed us that the transaction was deemed fraudulent, and they intend to charge us £12 and return the funds to the original account. Despite our attempts to reach out, PayPal has been uncooperative. Jay Trice has acknowledged the error but has not taken any steps to rectify this situation. We kindly request the payment of £[redacted] to be made to our PayPal account or an explanation for the refusal to do so. Thank you.

Hello, I am looking to close my PayPal account for Nova Jewellery as the business is now closed. Unfortunately, I am unable to change the primary email address ([redacted]) in the account settings as that email has been discontinued with the website closure, making it impossible to receive any emails sent to that address. I have other active PayPal accounts, rendering the Nova account unnecessary. When attempting to update my personal details, I encountered difficulty entering my U.K. address and postcode due to system issues with accepting U.K. postcodes. Could you please reach out to me with instructions on how I can proceed to close the account in question? Thank you, J. Bohan

I have made three attempts to pay for Legoland Windsor tickets, twice myself and once for my husband, resulting in a total of £65 pending in our joint bank account. We are urgently requesting the cancellation of all three payment attempts. Please confirm via email that none of the three monthly payments will be processed due to the website error on Legoland's end. Despite trying on September 26 and twice today, there has been no confirmation email from Legoland. I am eager to receive prompt resolution on this matter to avoid unauthorized charges. Thank you. Sincerely, L. Robins.

I'm having trouble creating a PayPal account with my email [redacted] as it says there is already an account linked to it. I don't remember ever setting one up before. The phone numbers associated with the account are not mine; one is incorrect, and the other is an old landline I haven't had for 14 years. The security question answers are not accepted either. I worry that someone may have tried to use my details to create an account before. I only have access to the email [redacted] and would like to proceed with this. Could you please contact me at [redacted] or email me? Thank you.

I am having trouble setting up a Paypal account because it says there's already an account with my Email. I am unable to reset the password as the security questions are not accepting my answers. I don't have an alternative Email to use. I attempted to call the number provided by Gethuman.com several times, but the call only rings once then disconnects. I am not experiencing any phone issues. The link you provided directed me to FaceTime, but it would not function, showing an error "This account has no readable addresses." Another link to call Paypal resulted in a message stating "This number is unavailable." I am increasingly frustrated with these obstacles and unsure how to proceed.

Hello, I bought an item on Ebay that I returned on the 23rd of September. I initiated a dispute with Paypal, but the seller, stuffshop99, asked me to cancel it to process the refund. I followed their instructions, cancelling the dispute over two weeks ago, as confirmed by Paypal. However, stuffshop99 now claims they cannot issue the refund because the dispute is open on Ebay. I've contacted Ebay multiple times, including today, October 11th, but they still show the dispute as open. I'm stuck between Ebay and Paypal with no resolution in sight. I hope someone here can offer some help. Thank you, Mrs. S Shepherd

I recently bought a Xiaomi mobile phone from "Tobys Deals UK" using PayPal. They assured me of a 2-year warranty as long as I retain the invoice emails, which I have. When the phone malfunctioned, Xiaomi UK stated that since the phone was imported, the warranty did not extend to them but was still valid through the seller. Unfortunately, "Tobys Deals UK" is now closed, reportedly reopening under different names. I acquired the phone brand new in January last year, and after a recent Xiaomi OS update, it started overheating, then shut down and has not functioned since. I am uncertain about how to proceed but have been advised to contact PayPal for assistance due to the business transaction payment method. Any guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hello, I used PayPal to buy a Xiaomi mobile phone from "Tobys Deals UK" and was informed it came with a 2-year warranty if I keep the invoice emails (which I have). Recently, I had an issue with the phone. When attempting to reach out to "Xiaomi UK," I was informed that since the phone was imported, the warranty was not with them but with the company that sold it to me. Tobys Deals UK is no longer operating, and I found out they had closed and reopened under different names. I purchased the phone new in January last year, and it was working well until a recent Xiaomi OS update. Following the update, the phone shut down, displayed an overheating message, froze, and hasn't turned on since. I'm unsure of any further steps, but I was told PayPal might be able to assist since it was a business transaction. I've exhausted my options, so any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you, Steve R.

Hello, I am concerned about a potential fraud situation involving my Paypal account. Recently, I received an email notifying me of a suspicious transaction for a GBP [redacted] Amazon E-Gift Card. I have taken immediate steps to secure my account by blocking the linked credit card, informing my bank, changing my password and Customer Service PIN, and attempting to update my phone number. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties in contacting Paypal due to the toll numbers provided and the restrictions on changing my phone number to a current French one. Despite my efforts to reach out to Paypal, I have not received a response to my concerns. I have requested Paypal to clarify the transaction status, provide a fraud helpline number accessible from France, and assist me in updating my phone number on the account. Thank you for your assistance. Martyn Nicholls

I received £60 from my friend, Utkarsh Shrestha. This was not a business transaction; it was a personal payment. However, PayPal has put the funds on hold. Since there were no products or services involved, there is no need for delivery. I require the money urgently and see no justification for PayPal withholding it. Please release the funds promptly.

This morning, I realized that my account was compromised by a hacker. The initial agents I contacted provided assistance, but I was subsequently transferred to the fraud department. The individual I spoke with displayed impatience and became verbally abusive when I hesitated to confirm a push notification claiming to be from PayPal requesting a payment of around $[redacted]. Furthermore, he discouraged me from placing a block on my debit cards.

I tried using "Pay in 3" to make a payment to Dunelm. I set it up on PayPal, and although the pre-authorisation shows on my bank account, the order was not placed. I attempted to do it again today, and the same issue occurred with no order being placed. I currently have two pre-authorised payments on my account for over £[redacted] each, and the money is unavailable. I am unable to cancel the order with Dunelm since it was never placed.

I purchased two heaters for $[redacted].89, but was surprised when my order was upgraded without my consent to include 'upgrade covers' for an additional $18.32, bringing the total to $[redacted].62. Furthermore, I discovered extra delivery charges were added. Despite attempting to cancel, the payment had already been processed. Following this, I received a concerning message from PayPal about a suspicious payment request for UK £[redacted].99 from Mailin C. PayPal reassured me this was a scam. The items I ordered arrived on Saturday, but I am disappointed with their quality and accuracy compared to the product description. I am seeking a refund and would like to return the items.

I opened a dispute with PayPal regarding an undelivered shed I purchased with my credit card. Despite choosing unauthorised transaction due to the non-delivery, PayPal denied the claim, stating it was authorised. The shed was ordered on August 11th, and it has not arrived. I communicated with the vendor via Facebook Messenger, but they stopped responding. The PayPal transaction number is TX[redacted][redacted] for £77.98, with the credit card reference PAYPAL *SZELVYR [redacted]1 GB. The vendor claimed to be from Huddersfield but seems to be from China. I am requesting PayPal to refund me, pursue a chargeback for non-delivery, and challenge the vendor's assertion of an authorised transaction given the fraudulent circumstances.

Hello, I received a refund of £[redacted].00 and £[redacted].90 from Travel Republic via my PayPal account. The refunds show as positive amounts in my account. I spoke to Travel Republic and my bank, Lloyd's, who informed me that the refunds were sent to the last 4 digits of my old debit card from [redacted] and [redacted] as it updates every three years. I have contacted Lloyd's, and they advised me to reach out to you to have the funds resent to me. This issue has been ongoing since December 20th, [redacted]. My contact number is [redacted]6. I have been trying to resolve this via email with no success. Your assistance in retrieving my refund would be greatly appreciated. Hello, my account was limited due to a credit card lacking sufficient information. The cards on my account were deleted by my bank due to a scam. I added a new card last night, but PayPal still requests details from my old card, causing issues when verifying with my bank. Removing these outdated cards could resolve the matter, as they are no longer valid. I have tried various methods to unlock my account but have been unsuccessful. I am unable to access assistance through Facebook or the chat service, and the resolution center has not been helpful. It is becoming frustrating dealing with this situation. Laura.

My computer crashed showing a warning about a Trojan horse virus instructing me to call the number provided. I contacted them, questioning if they were from Microsoft, and they confirmed. They quoted £[redacted].00 to fix the issue, so I proceeded with the payment, expecting a callback when the work was completed. After a restless night, I researched online and discovered it was a scam. The payment was made under the name Lumen Innovation with invoice number WC-LU[redacted]48. The transaction ID is 9PR86123DS565463G and is still pending. I would like to know if it's possible to cancel this transaction. Thank you. G.King

Hello, I kindly request to close my account promptly due to attempted unauthorized access. Sadly, my nephew in Maryland, USA, faced a similar situation with his Facebook getting hacked, resulting in the hacker contacting me for money transfers via PayPal. For safety measures, I believe it's best to close my account to prevent any misuse. The account is under the name of SBA. I have updated my email address since opening the account and will provide the new one. Thank you, Mrs. A. Stocks

I bought an iPad Air from eBay for £91.99 on April 5, [redacted]. The item arrived with a 6-inch scratch and a 3-inch crack despite the description mentioning only slight scratches. I returned it on the same day, April 8 (Saturday), as I was going away for a long weekend due to the bank holiday. I contacted the seller for the return address but only received a response on Monday. I used the address from the seller's page to send it back, however, the seller later informed me that it was incorrect. After not hearing back for a few days, I followed up with the seller who claimed the post office might destroy the item because they lacked a subscription service. I returned the item via EVRi Parcel Shop paying approximately £6.99 for postage with Ref No P[redacted]. Can I please request a refund?

PayPal debited £99.03 from my Lloyds account without any apparent reason. Despite Lloyds Bank's fraud department confirming the accuracy of the transaction, I am unaware of the purpose or authorization for this payment deduction. I intend to dispute the validity of this deduction and question PayPal's authority to deduct this amount without prior notification.
