Hello, my name is Lori Cheslak, and I am employed at Mauch Chunk Trust Co in Jim Thorpe, PA, [redacted]. I am reaching out regarding an MCT customer who issued a check with PNC named as the BOFD. The ABA number [redacted]53 is indicated on our incoming cash letter report. The check is payable to MMS Mortgage. It has come to my attention that similar checks from this customer with the same payee are typically cashed at JPMC. I have been in touch with PNC and was directed to the Mail Team department. Unfortunately, the fax number provided was incorrect. If you could provide me with a correct phone number or fax number, I would greatly appreciate it. You can reach me at [redacted] extension [redacted] or via email at [redacted] I am looking forward to your response. Thank you.

Hello. I recently opened a student account at PNC Bank to pay for my Amazon Prime membership. I usually pay with Chase Bank. I encountered some issues with monthly fees that were charged while I was away at school in California. After discussing this with Mrs. Martin at the Lake Worth branch, they were kind enough to refund the fees. I am a student and provided the necessary documents when opening the account. However, I am having trouble with the monthly $7.00 fee. I have visited the bank multiple times, most recently last week, without much success. I would appreciate it if the issue with the fees could be resolved so I can continue using the account smoothly for my online purchases. Thank you for your understanding.

I had a PNC SmartAccess account for over a year and believed I would be switched to a regular bank account after 3 to 6 months. I recently found an apartment that considers my income due to my disability. They require a Performance Checking statement which PNC mentioned I couldn't obtain with my SmartAccess account. I urgently need to translate my transaction history and deposits into a Performance Checking statement as it affects getting the apartment and keeping custody of my son. I'm reaching out for assistance in this critical matter. Thank you for your help in advance.

I had a mortgage with National City, which is now with PNC. The house had a fire, and Michigan Treasury notified me about an insurance policy with National City. PNC has no interest in the policy after ten years. I need to send a document to PNC to confirm if they want to collect on the insurance policy. The policy is with Auto Owners insurance, but the PNC representative couldn't locate details. Any help is appreciated. Thank you, Jennifer Wisemzn.

After experiencing identity theft resulting in maxed-out credit cards, PNC has now offered me a payoff deal through a letter. Although hesitant about its authenticity, I am interested. However, the offered amount is still high given my financial situation. I am considering proposing installment payments for the reduced amount. I prefer written communication over phone calls for legal purposes. Any advice on how to proceed? Thank you.

I recently had to dispute a charge on my account that was already paid, causing a problem for me. Despite my efforts to stop the payment, the request was denied by PNC. I faced issues with a new health insurance policy that was incorrectly sold to me, leading me to involve PNC to resolve the matter. While I usually do not encounter problems with disputing charges, PNC insisted on keeping the charge, resulting in a loss of approximately $[redacted]. Later, I noticed the disputed amount was refunded to my account, but when seeking help at the branch, the staff seemed indifferent. I am now unsure about PNC's ability to handle future disputes effectively.

Dear Team, Although I am not inclined to share my account details at this point, I am writing to inform you that I am a client of the bank residing in Argentina. In November, as usual, I submitted the exemption tax form to avoid paying taxes, however, my mail was returned as the address is no longer valid. Given the current travel restrictions, I am unable to resend the letter. Please advise on the best course of action, or if it is preferable to communicate through this platform. Today, I contacted the bank via my cellphone, but the call was cut short due to running out of credit swiftly. Thank you in advance for your assistance. Sincerely, Dr. Lila A. M.

I was contacted by Justin Verlander who asked me to assist with a project to provide coronavirus supplies for charity. He requested I withdraw my available cash to purchase bitcoin for distribution. I have all receipts and the bitcoin wallet ID. I am unsure if this warrants involving the authorities. Kindly refund any transferred balances and verify if any payments were returned. Justin mentioned he would resolve any issues with a check. I have his personal email and saved all conversations. I am considering canceling my debit and credit cards temporarily. Please handle any balance transfers appropriately. I'd appreciate a call tomorrow for updates. This might be a misunderstanding, and Justin might clear it with a check. Regardless, I request my account to be frozen until further notice. Cancel my debit card and be prepared to involve authorities if necessary. Stop any unauthorized balance transfers promptly.

I needed to reach out via email as I wanted to share my experience with PNC. Initially, when I opened my account, there were branches in both the town I work in and the town I live in, which are an hour apart. Unfortunately, both branches have closed recently. If this had been the case when I first chose a bank, I may not have selected PNC. Although I have been satisfied with the service, I am disappointed by these closures. I am considering closing my account within the next year, settling my loan and credit card with PNC, and transitioning to a different bank that continues to serve the small town community. While I don't expect this feedback to prompt any changes, I feel it's important to express my disappointment and explain my potential decision to no longer be a customer soon.

I contacted PNC Bank to add my two adult children to our checking and savings accounts. I was advised to visit my branch's drive-thru due to the lobby closure. Even though the standard joint account limit is three, I required a fourth joint account. After a 55-minute wait in line at the drive-thru, the manager, Tim Langston, promised to contact me once the necessary paperwork was prepared. Tim followed up the same day but has not called back as promised on June 8, [redacted]. Despite leaving three messages, I have not received further communication. I am frustrated with the lack of customer service. I simply want my adult children added to our accounts without unnecessary delays or stress. Your assistance in promptly resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your help. D.D. West Hazleton, PA Branch

I am concerned about the negative one hundred dollar charge on my account. I have not used this account in approximately five years. I no longer have the original card, have not received a new one, and do not remember my account details or checks. When I withdrew all remaining funds years ago, I believed the account was closed. I am unwilling to pay the negative balance as I have not been active on this account for many years. I would like this issue resolved promptly to avoid legal action. Please address this matter, close my account, and rectify the situation. Thank you.

Hello, my name is Emily Hascher. I have encountered an issue with LA Fitness in Noblesville, Indiana, where I was erroneously charged twice for personal training sessions totaling $[redacted]. The gym closed on March 17, [redacted], and I had not attended any personal training sessions since March 16, [redacted]. These unexpected charges resulted in an overdraft of my account, incurring $72 in overdraft fees. Despite numerous attempts to contact LA Fitness about the refund, the issue remains unresolved. I made multiple calls on various dates in June, and was given assurances that the refund would be processed promptly. However, to date, the refund has not been issued, causing significant financial inconvenience. I urgently request that my account be credited the $[redacted] for the erroneous charges. Additionally, I seek the removal of my payment cards from the LA Fitness system. This situation has caused me undue stress and financial strain, impacting my ability to meet other financial obligations. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely, Emily Hascher

I need a signature on my car title from PNC, the previous loan holder. The account is fully paid off, and I only require the bank's acknowledgment so I can sell the car. However, I was informed that I have to request a release paper through mail for a $23 fee. This process seems unreasonable given the profits made from the loan. Waiting up to 2 weeks is very inconvenient as I cannot sell the car in the meantime. Even though the loan was closed 5 years ago, verifying the payoff status should be a quick computer check and signing the title. This policy is disappointing, especially after 30 years with the bank and moving my 401K funds over recently. The lack of efficiency is dissatisfying, and I believe other customers share this sentiment.

I recently received an email from someone named Rik Nebeker who found my resume online and offered me $[redacted] a week to be his personal assistant. He mentioned being self-employed and in need of help with bills and errands. However, I am hesitant to share my bank details (PNC) with a stranger. Can someone access my account with just my name? I am considering providing a different bank name. If he truly needs assistance with bill payments, I suggested he should send a check instead of accessing my account. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation before?

I recently visited the PNC branch on 40th St. in Philly and encountered a frustrating situation. There was a lack of clear communication regarding customer capacity, leading to a long wait in hot weather conditions. Despite the bank being at full capacity, some individuals were allowed to enter, causing further delays for those waiting in line. The limited number of tellers and the absence of deposit/withdrawal slips available only added to the inefficiency. After a 40-minute wait for a simple transaction, I raised concerns with a manager about the lack of adherence to CDC guidelines, the need for sanitation of counters and ATM machines, and the overall customer experience. The manager's brief response was unsatisfactory, leaving me feeling disappointed with PNC's customer service and considering closing my account due to recurring issues. In light of these challenges, I urge PNC to implement fairer practices, such as ensuring all windows are open during busy periods and improving efficiency to prioritize customer satisfaction. It is essential for the bank to address these issues promptly to retain customer loyalty.

I need assistance with PNC sending a replacement debit VISA card that didn't arrive. The card expired on June 30, and auto-payments for July have failed. My name is Roger S.J. Sattler, and I share an address with Helene O'Connor in Arlington, VA. We are both 78 years old and retired. I work as a volunteer in Peru and rely on the PNC debit VISA for my monthly Social Security deposits. Helene usually sends me replacement cards but this one hasn't arrived despite sending her money for FedEx shipping. This is urgent as I need access to cash. Please send the replacement card to Helene's address for immediate forwarding. Thank you.

I recently visited a PNC ATM in a hurry to deposit money for my bills. I attempted to deposit $[redacted], but the machine took $10 first and then went out of service, causing me to lose the rest of my deposit. Upon reinserting my card, I realized that the transaction did not go through.

In early spring, I discovered PNC has been charging me $25.00 per month for my checking account. I have tried calling but only got an automatic response, visited a closed branch due to Covid-19, and attempted to resolve online but my information was not recognized. As this isn't my primary account, I want to close it as I've incurred significant service charges. I currently have over $2,[redacted].00 in the account. Could someone guide me on how to transfer my funds to another bank? - Margaret S. J.
