I trusted Offerup to deliver what they promised. I decided to try the 3-day trial, but on the third day, I couldn't find a way to cancel as it seemed like a trial rather than a subscription. Additionally, I was supposed to receive a cancellation reminder email, which I never got. This experience feels deceitful, and I am seeking a full refund. I did not anticipate being misled by this app and I will warn others on all my social platforms to prevent anyone else from being in this situation!

I reached out to the seller regarding a [redacted] Honda Accord he listed for sale. The mileage on the vehicle specified Itasca, and it turns out, the seller misled me. He rushed me to fill out most of the pink slip, which I now realize was to conceal the fact that the odometer reading was over [redacted],[redacted] miles, not the [redacted],[redacted] we agreed upon. Moreover, he pretended to be the owner of the car, but the title I received had a different individual's name on it. This shady behavior raises concerns that the vehicle might be stolen. I'm unable to access the ratings and reviews section to share my experience and warn others. The seller used two different names during our interaction, adding to the suspicious nature of the transaction. I am uncertain how to proceed and seek assistance with leaving a review to inform potential buyers of this seller's deceptive practices.

I am frustrated by the lack of customer service from OfferUp and eBay. A year ago, I purchased concert tickets on OfferUp, only for the event to be canceled later. Despite my attempts to contact the seller for a refund, they have not responded, as indicated by the "seen" status of my messages. I suspect I paid for the tickets in cash, and Ticketmaster might have also refunded the seller for the canceled tour. I aim to contact OfferUp to obtain proof of my purchase, which I will then use to reach out to Ticketmaster to secure my refund or explore alternative options.

I posted an item on OfferUp and accepted an offer from a buyer. Unfortunately, Staples was closed for Labor Day when I tried to ship the item. The following day, I managed to print a shipping label and took the package to Staples, receiving a receipt and tracking number. Even though USPS picked up the package the next day, OfferUp canceled the order. The product is already in transit, but the payment has been canceled, resulting in a loss of $[redacted]. Now, the tracking number is showing as invalid, despite the item being shipped.

I recently encountered an issue trying to reply to a seller on a thread. A sudden request for phone verification popped up, although I had just messaged the seller a moment ago without this. Upon entering my phone number, an error message informed me that it was associated with too many accounts. I discovered I had another account linked to the same number, which I promptly deleted. I then uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but the problem persisted. Even after logging back in, I still couldn't message the seller without verifying my phone number. I believe I have been scammed. I bought an item from OfferUp on September 16th, which was supposed to be for my son's birthday, but it arrived today, a month late. The item I received is incorrect. I paid $56.99 for it. The seller has deactivated their account, making it impossible to contact them. I am frustrated with OfferUp as I am struggling to resolve this issue. However, a prompt suddenly appeared asking me to "verify" my phone number. After entering my number, I received a message stating that my number is linked to multiple user accounts, which seems impossible as I am the sole user. This issue caused me to miss out on a sale. I recently tried out the 3-day free trial on my OfferUp account. It's a helpful tool for selling items, but it's not the right fit for me. I attempted to cancel the subscription, but I was still charged a $21.99 fee (I may have been charged $22.99, but I'm unsure). I used to use OfferUp, and it was better before, but now it has changed. One thing that bothers me is how they pressure you to buy into getting better views. It feels like they are manipulating users by making it seem like if you follow their directives, your products will sell better. I rely on selling items to make ends meet as I am unable to work due to my age. Recently, I got a new cellphone, and now I can't download the app anymore. It's frustrating how they control and manipulate users. It's especially difficult when you're already struggling. I just lost my place to live and at 62 years old, it's hard. I am frustrated with the way they try to get you to pay for better views when you first post an article. I haven't even finished posting, and they're already bombarding you with questions about purchasing their services. It's ridiculous; they always have some excuse and treat us like we're naive. I will reach out to anyone who will listen. I recently changed my cellphone, and now they claim the app can't be downloaded on the new phone. These falsehoods are making it difficult for me to make ends meet. I am struggling financially and recently lost my home, and now they are hindering my ability to earn a few dollars.

I am frustrated with OfferUp as they are coming up with excuses. If they had checked properly, they would have noticed that all the issues they mentioned had been resolved before they even brought them up. It seems like they are stalling to keep my money. I have reported them to Interpol and I plan to contact the Australian government and authorities in Africa. I will take legal action if my money is not returned by the agreed-upon time of 11:00.
