Last week, in San Jose, CA, there was a listing for a [redacted] Saturn Aura by a seller named Jenny. The ad stated the car had a Clean Title, Current Registration, and no issues for $2,[redacted]. Unfortunately, upon further inspection, it was revealed that the vehicle had a Salvaged and Total Loss status, along with $[redacted] in fees, and it would not pass smog due to tampering with the Check Engine Light. This information was not disclosed by the seller, who continues to post cars for sale on OfferUp. I am concerned for my safety as driving this vehicle could have been dangerous. Can any action be taken to identify the seller and hold them accountable?

I had scheduled to meet with a user on August 4th for handmade custom shelves and a blanket ladder. The seller, Bri, seemed trustworthy with 18 5-star reviews. After paying $[redacted] for 3 shelves and the ladder, promised in 5 days, weeks have passed with no contact despite my follow-up messages. We met her husband at a QT, where I paid in cash. The rustic shelves and ladder were for my room renovation. Disappointed by the lack of response, seeking a refund and understanding of the situation. Willing to provide more details for resolution. My account was completely cleared. All my transactions from the last three years have disappeared. I attempted to list a new item, but I couldn't. After contacting support, I was advised to uninstall and then reinstall the app to restore everything. However, none of my previous listings were recovered. My hard work to maintain a perfect customer satisfaction record with a 5-star rating is now lost. I don't want to rebuild my reputation from scratch. I need help to restore my account to show my established customer satisfaction with a 5-star rating and an original joining date in [redacted]. Yesterday, I attempted to purchase cleats from a seller named Said using my credit card, but the transaction was denied. This turned out to be fortunate, as I realized I didn't need the cleats as much as I thought. I tried to resend the transaction after it was declined, but it had not gone through. I then found a different pair of cleats that fit me better from another seller. To my surprise, this morning I noticed that the initial transaction with Said had gone through a day later when I attempted to resend it. I would like OfferUp to cancel this transaction promptly, as it was charged to my credit card, making it challenging to reverse the funds like a refund. I am experiencing an urgent issue with making a purchase on OfferUp. The problem has persisted since yesterday afternoon, with my card being charged $1.00 around 8 times for the same purchase from seller Michael Moots. Each time I make an offer, it gets accepted by the seller, but then an error occurs, and the offer cannot be finalized, leading to cancellation. Despite sufficient funds, the purchase cannot go through. This has been ongoing for 2 days, and I urgently need to complete the purchase and understand the reasons for this issue. I contacted OfferUp on August 28th to report an issue with a missing shipping label. I provided the tracking information which was confirmed by OfferUp, yet it has been over a week since the buyer received the item and I have not received payment. I have received conflicting messages from OfferUp, first stating the item was shipped, then that the buyer received it, followed by messages about my payment being deposited and then successfully canceled. I am frustrated with the delays and excuses as I am owed $[redacted] for the product I sold and shipped. Despite the buyer's satisfaction, I have not been paid and feel ignored by OfferUp. I have thoroughly documented the entire transaction and just want a resolution without further emails or messages, simply my owed funds.

Yesterday, I sold a 6-piece wall art set to Gloria P. for $15. During the sale, she inquired about more items. I showed her a large metal and diamond wall art piece, which she only paid $12 for, promising the rest later. She messaged me today expressing interest in more items, but suddenly disappeared. I suspect she blocked me and won't pay the remaining $3. This situation is disheartening as I trusted her and even gave her a discount. I am now hesitant to sell further. I experienced a frustrating issue with a cancelled transaction where the buyer received the item, but I did not receive payment. After a month-long exchange of emails with customer service, they mentioned being unable to redo the transaction or payment due to the buyer's declined payment method. It is confusing why the transaction was allowed to proceed without a valid payment method. Despite the buyer holding onto the money and the product being worth $[redacted], I am unable to get a refund. Now, they want to return the item following a message from Offer Up. Due to sanitation reasons, I am refusing to accept the return and insist on being rightfully compensated for the sale. The lack of resolution is disheartening as the whole purpose of using this platform was to streamline the process, yet it seems to have led to more issues than anticipated.

Hello, I hope all is well. I encountered a small issue while I was out of town with poor service. An individual named Elias purchased my SyncUP T-Mobile drive for $24. After accepting the sale, I faced difficulty reaching Elias to explain my situation. I plan to ship the item on Monday, but I noticed the label provided indicates a ship date of 9/13/18 with a 3-day delivery estimate. Can I use the same label, or do I need a new one? Hello, my name is Ken. I fell victim to a scam by a seller on OfferUp. I bought an item and it arrived at the post office damaged. The seller, Richard Phan, requested payment through his personal email account, [redacted], which I did with $[redacted].03 via PayPal. Upon realizing the scam, I visited PayPal's headquarters in San Jose, CA. They informed me that Richard Phan had manipulated me into sending money to his personal email. The transaction ID is [redacted]1ph106953S. I'm new to this and was not aware. I seek a refund for the full amount as I received broken items and feel taken advantage of due to my disability. This experience has left me feeling disappointed and I hope to get my money back and prevent this seller from exploiting others in the future.

I purchased a king-size bed frame from a seller on OfferUp. They indicated the bed was in good condition without mentioning any damages. After bringing it home, I tried to assemble the bed and discovered missing and broken items necessary for assembly. I contacted the seller, but they were unhelpful and refused to assist, which I find very unprofessional. It's disappointing when people sell items online without disclosing the full condition. I have a customer, K, who has been back and forth about purchasing cowboy boots from me for about two weeks. Despite expressing interest, she was unable to meet up after claiming to have a flat tire. Even when I offered to drop it off or meet her, she was not available. Eventually, she bought the item online, but now wants to return it. I find her indecisiveness and inconvenience frustrating. I prefer not to continue dealing with her. I believe that genuine interest prompts people to make an effort to secure the item. In this case, I feel like my kindness has been taken advantage of. I would like this matter addressed accordingly.

I recently purchased an iPhone and the transaction went smoothly with the seller. Afterwards, he reached out to me about a Laptop and an Apple Watch for sale. After expressing my interest, he showed me the items and offered them for a total of $[redacted], $[redacted] for the Laptop and $[redacted] for the Apple Watch. When he only brought the Laptop upon delivery, I requested a refund for the watch or the actual product. Despite assurances to return with the watch, he never did and cut off contact by changing his number. I have his address and license plate information, along with our message history. My goal is to receive either the Apple Watch promised or a refund of $[redacted]. I appreciate any assistance you can offer.

I have been attempting to contact OfferUp multiple times over the past few months to address a technical issue involving server connection. Despite reaching out at least three times, I have not received any response to the email address I provided. When trying to message other customers about their posted products, I encounter an error message (Error Code: G0XO1VX8) consistently. This issue also affects my ability to connect with OfferUp through their help page links. Connecting with other posters/customers is crucial for me, and the urgency of the matter is growing. Regrettably, I have not received a response from OfferUp today despite highlighting the time sensitivity. It feels like my requests have been ignored for months without a simple email acknowledgment. I have attempted to resolve the problem by updating and reinstalling the app with no success. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

My posts have not been appearing for about a week now, despite having a ***% feedback rating. Contacting OfferUp multiple times has been unsuccessful, only receiving automated responses. My wife is experiencing the same issue with her account, with no responses either. Frustrated, I'm considering using a different platform since the income from selling items is essential. Several friends with similar problems switched to Letgo and encountered no issues. I am perplexed by the lack of support and communication from OfferUp regarding this issue. If I made an error, I would like to know and rectify it promptly.

Transaction ID [redacted]. I provided my bank information, then later on the same day, September 23, [redacted], the bank advised adding [redacted] in front of the account number [redacted] to set up a 13-digit account for direct deposit. Upon checking OfferUp's help section, I tried to modify this in my account settings under the $ section but couldn't find the option as the $ symbol did not appear. Despite reaching out to OfferUp support four times, I received a message at 8:00 pm on September 26, [redacted], stating that my funds were deposited. However, the site indicates that funds are only issued 1 to 3 days after delivery, and the item is still on transit to the customer causing confusion. I purchased a sectional couch from Jessica in Modesto, California. Initially, she seemed like a trustworthy seller with good feedback. However, upon delivery, I discovered that the long couch was broken, with missing support. When I contacted Jessica, she promised a refund, but now she is unresponsive and has sold the item to someone else, preventing me from leaving a negative review. The couch also had rips and cigarette burns despite her denial. I am deeply disappointed in this transaction and aim to have her removed as a seller on OfferUp due to her dishonest practices.

I have been attempting to reach a potential buyer who only speaks Spanish. When I tried to input my information in Spanish, I received an error message indicating a possible violation of code that prevented me from selling or contacting anyone. The system keeps showing red exclamation points and doesn't send the messages. I'm confused about what's happening and would like to resolve this issue to communicate with the buyer effectively.

I purchased a mattress from Brian, who advertised it as [redacted]% new in his posts. However, upon opening the plastic wrapping, I discovered several stains and pilling on the mattress. I immediately tried contacting Brian via call and text, but received no response. I then attempted to reach out through OfferUp, but still did not hear back from him.
