Good morning, I am Linda (Rachel) J., the author of the preview book "MYSTERY BABYLON - Past, Present and Future" that I sent to the New York Times about a year ago (thinking it was around latter spring or early summer [redacted]). This was my first submission to the NY Times, and I now realize I may not have followed the correct procedure, which is why I am reaching out for guidance. I am unsure if I was supposed to take further action after submitting my book. I was hoping for some acknowledgment of receipt and feedback, whether positive or constructive criticism. I am curious if the NY Times only considers authors with a significant publishing history and established literary reputation. Could you provide me with detailed insight on these matters? Thank you for your attention to these queries. Best regards, Linda (Rachel) J.
Please report on the issues in Afghanistan truthfully without bias. It's crucial not to conceal any information for political reasons. Honesty is essential as America faces challenges with the situation at the Southern border and recent events in Afghanistan. It's important for everyone to be informed to protect their families. The credibility of mainstream media is at stake, and it's time to prioritize honesty and transparency in reporting. The Taliban's reliability and China's interest in Afghanistan are concerning, and misinformation only adds to the confusion. It's time for a change, so let's focus on being truthful and doing what's best for the country.
I am a subscriber to the Daily Briefing. I originally signed up for the $4 a month for a year deal. After that ended, I noticed a $17 charge on my credit card from the NYT on Nov.12. Additionally, on Dec 3, there was a $4 charge on my PayPal account. While on the initial offer, I could easily read all stories by clicking on links. However, after the $17 charge, it became more challenging as I had to log in every time. Strangely enough, the log in process disappeared after the $4 charge. I am confused as to why it becomes more complicated as the charges increase.
Since March first, our building management updated the delivery policies to allow for individual subscribers to receive their NY Times copies at their apartment doors. Despite multiple confirmations from the building manager and my three calls, the delivery is still not occurring as requested. The label specifies "deliver to apartment door." I kindly request that the delivery staff be advised to ensure our papers are placed at the correct location.
To all world television channels, human rights organizations, and global women protection groups, my name is Ardit Laska. There is a secret game of cruelty being played against humanity behind closed doors, causing outbreaks, pandemics, earthquakes, and wars. My plea is for justice, truth, and accountability. I need your assistance to uncover the real story that started in Greece, the birthplace of democracy. Due to manipulated email accounts, I can be reached at [redacted]/67 [redacted] in Albania. Together, we must bring light to the injustices and bring those responsible to account. Ardit Laska, Tirana, Albania.
I have a subscription to The Times, which includes Spelling Bee and other word games. I used to play Spelling Bee on both my iPad and iPhone without any issues. However, recently I've been having trouble accessing it on my iPhone. Even after entering my correct password, I keep getting redirected to subscription services. I can still play on my iPad without any problems. How can I fix this issue and regain access on my phone?
I am 13 years old and find it unbelievable that they're allowing construction on Canal Roya, one of the few untouched places in Spain. I value nature more than tourism and hope to visit Canal Royal for many years to come. It's crucial to protect the environment and preserve its beauty for today and future generations. Governments should listen to experts and public opinion when making decisions that impact nature. Ignoring these voices will lead to a loss of natural habitats, wildlife, and ultimately the serene beauty of places like Canal Roya. We must prioritize conservation over profit if we want our children to experience the same natural wonders we enjoy today. Let's advocate for the protection of our environment and ensure that future generations can also appreciate the beauty of our world.
My friend, who resides in an assisted living facility, has been experiencing irregularities in her NY Times subscription delivery since last April. There are instances when she does not receive the daily paper at all. Despite contacting the "Report a Delivery Issue" number, the problem persists. While they offered a refund for the missed issue, no resolution was provided for the ongoing delivery problems. Inquiring about the other approximately 80 subscribers, she was informed they would need to call individually. Rather than receiving individual refunds for missed papers, she prefers to have consistent daily delivery to her door, as she had in the past, instead of bulk drops at the facility's lobby.
I'm having trouble accessing articles on my desktop as it says I've reached my free article limit, despite renewing my account subscription on 3/28/23 for a year. My account number is [redacted]99. I keep getting disconnected multiple times. I was advised to log in with just "akwebster" to simplify. While I can read emails from my cellphone with no issues, I can't download the app as my iPhone 8 is incompatible. The problem lies with accessing emails and articles on my desktop. Thank you. -Annette W.
I didn't see any coverage in The New York Times about the climate change march in New York City on Sunday, September 17. The lack of publicity before and during the march is concerning. I couldn't find any articles or information about this significant event related to climate change. The Times is usually my go-to for updates on important events, especially regarding climate change activism. It's disappointing that this march wasn't covered. Hopefully, they will provide more coverage on such crucial issues in the future. - Suzanne Shabasson
