My card ending in [redacted] was blocked yesterday at approximately 5:40 a.m. I received a message from Netspend on my phone informing me of the issue and prompting me to contact customer service. I called and first spoke to a representative with a strong accent, which made communication difficult. I requested to speak to someone else, and the next representative was easier to understand. They explained that my card was blocked and asked me a few questions, including about a $40 pending transaction of which I was unaware. The representative recommended ordering a replacement card and transferring the remaining funds from the blocked card onto it. I decided to purchase a temporary card, but upon trying to transfer the funds, I was informed the temporary card had restrictions. Subsequent interactions with Netspend customer service were frustrating due to difficulties with security questions and unhelpful responses. Despite explaining the situation and urgency, resolving the issue of transferring $[redacted] to my new temporary card ending in [redacted] proved challenging.

I am writing to report an unauthorized transaction on my account. The transaction took place on June 24 at 9:42 pm for $1.25 and then again on the following night at 9:10 pm for $49.95. I was unaware of these charges until my card was declined during my own transaction. Upon contacting customer service, I learned about the unauthorized transactions and was advised to dispute them by emailing netspend at [redacted] However, my emails failed to deliver as the address appeared invalid. I am Sidney L. Hall and I am reaching out regarding my recent communication with NetSpend. I reported my card as lost or stolen, blocked it, and requested a replacement. The new card was due to arrive by June 25th or 26th, [redacted], but has not reached me as expected. Due to this delay, I have faced challenges including having my phone disconnected and being evicted. I am currently without a phone and address the situation only via email. The address provided for the card delivery is 1 .N.W. 33rd. Terrace, Lauderhill, Florida [redacted]. I have been a Netspend Control MasterCard user for over 18 months. Recently, when I tried to log in, I received a message saying my account was blocked and to call a provided number. After waiting on hold for over an hour with no response, I was disconnected. Upon calling back, I faced a similar situation. I requested to close my account since the money is rightfully mine, but was informed it would take 10 days for a refund. It has now been over 3 months, and despite multiple attempts to contact them, I have not received any response or refund from Netspend/Control MasterCard. My Bank Account Number is [redacted], and my Control MasterCard Number is [redacted]. I have been calling since Monday, and it's now Friday. Even though the bank confirmed the credit, it hasn't reflected in my account yet. The banking laws in my state guarantee provisional credit, which should have been automatic, and I should have had the funds back by now. I am also seeking damages of $[redacted] for the inconvenience caused by not following the law. I contacted the bank for provisional credit myself, so I am at a loss as to why this issue is continuing. My credit card payment is now [redacted] days past due, affecting my credit score, and potentially hindering my ability to buy a house. This ongoing situation needs to be addressed promptly, or I will be forced to seek legal counsel.

My wallet was stolen, which had my NetSpend card inside. I need to report it as stolen. I prefer speaking with a person instead of using a computer, as I believe it will be more effective in solving my issue. It has been 10 days since this happened, and unfortunately, I haven't been able to resolve this matter yet. I am growing increasingly frustrated because my Social Security government check is directly deposited onto this card. Can someone assure me that I will receive a replacement card soon? Time is running out, and I need access to my funds.

I forgot my password for the Netspend direct deposit account, causing the system to lock me out for six hours. Even after entering my social security number and creating a new password, the system is not accepting my login credentials. I have attempted to access my Netspend Visa and Mastercard accounts linked to my Wells Fargo bank for three days now without success. I recently experienced issues with my card being canceled on July 9th due to an incorrect charge. After spending 4 hours on the phone with a supervisor, I was informed that my funds cannot be accessed until I receive a new card. I purchased a new card to transfer my funds, but when I called to have it activated, I did not receive the promised reimbursement. Subsequent attempts to activate new cards were unsuccessful, as I was told I could not be verified as the account holder. Despite multiple attempts to reach a supervisor, I faced obstacles and delays in resolving the issues with my account. 25 days later, my account remains dysfunctional, and I am seeking compensation for the inconvenience and financial losses incurred.

Hello, I am reaching out again as I had previously contacted you regarding an issue with my NetSpend prepaid Visa card. I purchased the card at Walmart and loaded $[redacted] onto it. After downloading the app and following the activation steps, I encountered an error that locked my account. I have an ongoing issue with Netspend as they haven't sent me a replacement card yet. Today is August 3rd, and my Social Security check was directly deposited. For almost a month, I've received nothing but lies. Two weeks ago, a customer service representative claimed a new card was sent, but it wasn't. The following evening, another representative mentioned the card had been mailed and I should get it before the 3rd. However, I never received any notification about the deposit. Now they're asking irrelevant security questions before sending a new card. I'm frustrated as a 71-year-old Social Security recipient. I plan to contact the Federal Banking Commission, Better Business Bureau, corporate office, and my district's senator to address this unprofessional behavior. It's crucial for me to receive my funds promptly as a retired military individual on a fixed income. A refund or compensation for late fees seems appropriate at this point.

I am having difficulty locating one of my cards and have been attempting for three days to transfer the balance. The account is old, and I may have used a different email address or password, or I might not have registered it at all. I recently discovered that my account was terminated due to suspicious activity, which was alarming as I have been a customer for 8 years without any issues. Primarily, I receive direct deposits from the government into my Netspend account. In the past, Netspend has promptly resolved any refund issues when merchants canceled orders or items weren't received. I have always been the sole user of my account, keeping my information private. Despite my efforts to resolve the $98.00 outstanding balance quickly, I am perplexed about the account cancellation. During my calls to Netspend, I attempted to get clarity from three representatives but received no satisfactory explanation. Requests to speak with a supervisor were unsuccessful as I was placed on hold for extended periods with no response.

My boyfriend accidentally used my address for his card registration. He stays with me briefly every few months as he works on the road. Despite providing various documents, he's been unable to use his card due to the address issue for almost 2 days now. I'm frustrated because this has impacted our limited time together. I'm Stephanie D. I bought three prepaid cards worth $1,[redacted] in August [redacted]. Since I tried to activate them, I've been told they are under someone else's name, even though I had my ID scanned when purchasing and loading them. Despite sending NetSpend pictures of the cards, the receipt, my ID, social, and utility bill, they still won't refund me. Prior to that, I had another long wait with Jeanne, ID #[redacted]. My issue was disputing a charge due to the troubles with Matt Lloyd's online sales lessons now entangled in a court case. I wish to recover $[redacted] as I couldn't complete the course, and my coach stopped responding. Strangely, I also just received a new card today after three months without any prior communication.
