The show "13 Reasons Why" is deeply troubling and should not be promoted by Netflix. Both Season 1 and Season 2 have raised serious concerns. Graphic scenes without proper warnings only add to the distress. The show fails to offer constructive alternatives to suicide, as highlighted by Jaclyn Grimm in USA Today. The way it portrays suicide is harmful and can lead to dangerous repercussions. After viewing just a short portion of the series, I struggled with my own mental health. "13 Reasons Why" handles teen suicide in a damaging manner and has even been linked to real-life imitations. The increase in suicide rates following the release of the first season is alarming. The glamorization of suicide in the media is incredibly troubling and brings about negative consequences. For those experiencing mental health challenges, the show's depiction falls short. To truly support individuals dealing with these issues, it's imperative for Netflix to discontinue this show.

Concerns about Obama Mega Deal - I wish to share my concerns about the recent multimillion dollar deal signed by the Obamas. They lack experience or knowledge in entertainment, which raises questions about the use of funds that could support quality content creation by industry professionals. Additionally, a significant portion of the country, including myself, does not favor the Obamas and their political views. Will similar opportunities be extended to the Bush family? This investment may not attract many new members and might backfire. Focusing on quality entertainment rather than political affiliations could yield better results.
Best regards,
Pat Hora

I would like to express my dissatisfaction with the declining quality of content on the platform. It appears that there are more B movies and subpar original shows replacing the good ones. The addition of foreign soap operas and mediocre Netflix originals, with only a few exceptions, is disappointing. The inclusion of Michelle Wolf, whom I personally find grating, adds to the frustration. There seems to be a noticeable bias in the selection process. It feels like a significant amount of money is being spent to entertain a small portion of the audience. Contemplating switching to Amazon Prime where I might find content more suited to my preferences. The lackluster offerings in the last couple of months have led me to this decision. Many of my friends have already canceled their subscriptions due to the lack of compelling content available.

I enjoy watching Netflix frequently and have noticed a trend in the past year or two where a lot of the movies I come across require reading subtitles at the bottom of the screen even though my settings are in English. Many of the films available on Netflix are now in foreign languages like Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese. As an American woman in my 60s who only speaks English, it becomes frustrating when I think I've found a movie to watch, only to realize it's not in English and I have to read subtitles. This seems to be the case for many movies and I hope this issue can be resolved. It is disappointing to have to read subtitles for a movie that I expect to be in English, especially considering I am paying for the service.

I decided to cancel my Netflix account due to my dissatisfaction with their hiring of Barack and Michelle Obama for roles in film production, despite their lack of experience. It appears that Ted Sarandos, the Creative Content Chief at Netflix, was involved in significant financial support for President Obama's campaign in [redacted]. Additionally, Sarandos's wife, Nicole Avant, was appointed as the ambassador to The Bahamas during the Obama administration, with her father, Clarence Avant, contributing to Obama's campaigns as well. This pattern raises concerns about political contributions influencing job opportunities. The perpetuation of the #goodoldboysclub reinforces the disparity between the wealthy and the struggling. I believe this behavior reflects poorly on Netflix and the Obamas, leading to my decision to cancel my account.

I tried the free trial of Netflix without subscribing. Initially, I was only asked for my account details and told that charges would apply only if I continued using the service. However, I stopped using the app before the trial ended. I am upset that money was deducted without my consent during the trial. This amount is crucial for me, and I request a refund to avoid any financial hardship. I had a negative experience with the service and regret using it. Please refund my money promptly. I hope Netflix addresses this issue fairly and resolves it satisfactorily.

My account was compromised, with the email address changed, and unauthorized usage on my Netflix account for over a year. I trusted Netflix to safeguard my account and information, expecting compensation if such a breach occurred. However, Netflix claims they have no record of the connected email address. Despite providing evidence, including emails confirming the association of the email with my account, Netflix refuses to acknowledge the system failure. They insist I authorized the payments due to my card being linked since [redacted]. Yet, I dispute this as I never authorized usage from Ecuador, a country I have no ties to. I possess ample proof to verify the linked email, supported by emails from Netflix notifying me of email changes. I seek Netflix's cooperation in reimbursing me for the unauthorized usage. Thank you, Annie.

Since Netflix withdrew their funding for "Shadowhunters," the loyal and vocal fanbase of the show has been campaigning hard to secure a fourth season. Let's support them in their efforts to save "Shadowhunters." It is disheartening to see well-written, acclaimed shows like "Sense8" and "The Get Down" get canceled, but the cancellation of "Shadowhunters" is particularly unjust. As the most popular show on Freeform, it has sparked social activism and possesses a wealth of source material with its six books. In comparison, "13 Reasons Why," with its one book source, has had a controversial impact. Let's make the right choice and save "Shadowhunters."

I am disappointed with the selection of movies on Netflix and Prime. The movies offered are outdated and can often be found on other platforms. It feels like we are being asked to pay for movies multiple times. I believe this may lead to a loss of subscribers. Additionally, most series seem to be from foreign countries, and I would like to see more content with American accents. Please improve the selection to justify the monthly subscription fee. My email is for junk mail only, so please do not send me promotional emails. I hope Netflix and Prime make changes before it impacts their employees.

Please reconsider the decision about "Shadowhunters." Many people, including myself, find this show incredibly important for various reasons. The positive impact it has had on viewers cannot be overstated. The outpouring of support on social media speaks volumes about the show's influence. Giving it one or two more seasons would mean a lot to fans. By saving "Shadowhunters," you could potentially attract more viewers and enhance your reputation. The show offers a unique blend of drama, magic, and LGBTQ representation that sets it apart from other teen shows. Its ability to bring happiness and solace to those struggling with mental health makes it invaluable. Please think about the profound effect saving "Shadowhunters" could have.

I recently discovered a recurring charge on my US Bank credit card for Netflix that has been going on for the past six months. I have never signed up for Netflix and only noticed the charge now when I checked my bank statement online. Upon visiting Netflix.com, I found a saved username and password that I do not recognize. As the sole user of my computer, I can confirm that I have never accessed this account. I would like to have this account canceled and request a refund as I am on a fixed income and do not subscribe to unnecessary services. Thank you. - J. Warren

Freeform's decision to withhold the rights to Shadowhunters from Netflix resulted in a funding cut from the streaming service. Many fans are pleading for a reconsideration due to the show's significant representation of underrepresented communities. Notably, Shadowhunters showcases a positive mlm relationship between a gay man and a bisexual Asian man, portraying them as strong and empowered individuals. The series also features people of color in leading roles and represents characters across the LGBT+ spectrum. It is clear that the show holds great importance for many viewers within these communities, who are hopeful for its continuation.

I used to have a Netflix subscription mainly for my son's favorite shows. However, recently, those particular shows like "Scooby Doo Mystery Incorporated," "Justice League," "Justice League Unlimited," and "Young Justice" were removed. I am really disappointed and would like to see them back on Netflix because they are popular and relatively inexpensive for the platform. It would mean a lot to my son and me if these shows could be added back. I hope to hear a response regarding this matter.

Hello,
My name is Iris C. Permuy, and I work as a professional subtitler translating from English and French to Spanish. I recently searched for the TV show "Parts Unknown" by Anthony Bourdain on your US platform. Unfortunately, it is not available on the Spanish platform. I am interested in knowing if there are any plans to make this content accessible for Spanish audiences in the future, especially given the current interest in Anthony Bourdain's shows. If there is a possibility, I would like to offer my services as a subtitler. I have experience in travel and gastronomy and have previously worked with you through various translation agencies on projects like The Muppets, Pablo Escobar el Patrón del Mal, and Rita. I can provide my resume and direct you to my website www.traducarte.com for more information. I understand this is a bit of a reach, but I am passionate about Anthony Bourdain, cooking, traveling, and translating. Thank you for considering my request.
Best regards,
Iris C. Permuy

Why did Netflix decide to hire the Obamas? They have not shown any effort to benefit the American people or specifically the African American community. It raises concerns about their ability to contribute to Netflix, potentially prioritizing profit over meaningful content. There are doubts about their motives and capabilities, with fears of promoting failed globalist ideas. The ability to persuade and deceive, as demonstrated during his presidency, remains a point of contention. Despite the promise of change, the lack of substantial progress is evident through his regulatory decisions. Personal affiliations with controversial figures like Sharpton and others are also scrutinized, raising questions about prejudice. This decision to hire him is met with skepticism and a call for a replacement who aligns with American values and principles.

Since [redacted], we have noticed unauthorized charges by Netflix on my husband's business checking account as well as multiple iTunes accounts. We are unsure how to stop the checking account charge and would like it to cease immediately as the account has been inactive for years. What information does Netflix require to halt this transaction promptly? Additionally, is there a possibility to receive a refund or provide evidence to Netflix that the account has not been utilized?

I have been a longtime user of Netflix. In the past, I could trust that any "Netflix Original" content would be good. However, lately, there seems to be a rush to release content quickly rather than focusing on quality. This has resulted in a vast amount of content making it difficult to choose what to watch. I was disappointed when a movie my kids loved, "Martian Child," was added and then removed within three months. With the growing amount of content, it's frustrating that certain movies are being removed. The browsing experience has become challenging, especially in finding Disney or family movies under the "kids" section. Despite the increasing costs, I feel like I'm not getting more quality content to watch. I am expressing my concerns here because I believe in the concept of Netflix but see room for improvement. It might be beneficial to introduce fresh perspectives and ideas to enhance the overall user experience.

Hello! I wanted to express my gratitude for the incredible sense8 finale and premier. Although I missed out on attending the premier due to it getting full just as I was about to enter, I still want to thank you all for the experience.
Being a member of the I Am We Campaign alongside Margaret Hernandez, I can't thank you enough for creating a show that truly resonates with us. Even though I couldn't be there, I want to convey my appreciation for the finale and the entire series. It means a lot to me.
Also, I've been a loyal Netflix member since [redacted] and your original series have truly made a difference in my entertainment choices. I've completely transitioned from cable to streaming your amazing content. Thank you for everything!

Yesterday morning, Netflix was running smoothly. But, yesterday afternoon, I encountered an issue where the screen would show the red swirling circle briefly and then turn completely blank when I tried to access Netflix. No error messages or options were displayed, just a blank screen. Pressing the Netflix button resulted in the red swirl appearing briefly, then back to blank. I have already tried basic troubleshooting steps, such as restarting the router and TV, but the problem persists. Other devices can connect to the network, and services like YouTube work fine on the same TV. The issue seems isolated to Netflix and continues today. Any advice on how to resolve this problem would be appreciated. Thank you.
