I filed a claim on March 22, before the $[redacted] extended benefits for unemployment were implemented. I have a job lined up for June, but had secured a position starting on 3/21 to bridge the gap until then. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, the employer for the 3/21 job could no longer hire me due to a decline in business. I am unsure about my eligibility for the extra $[redacted] in unemployment benefits. Despite my belief that I should be eligible, I am struggling to reach a representative over the phone due to the high call volume.

I submitted my unemployment claim on March 22, before the additional $[redacted] in unemployment benefits were available. I have a job lined up to start in June at a Day Camp, as I do annually. The camp plans to open in June, but this may change depending on the Pandemic situation. I also had a job offer starting on March 21, but due to a significant decrease in business caused by the pandemic, the employer could no longer hire me. I believe I qualify for the extra $[redacted] in extended unemployment benefits and would like to know the steps I need to take to receive it.

Hello. I'm Chelsea Knurek. I applied for unemployment on March 15th. On March 25th, I received confirmation that my claim was filed, and I can start certifying my benefits by April 1st. However, when I tried to file today, it says, “my claim is not payable at this time.” I don't have any pending appointments, so I'm wondering if there's anything further I need to do. My claim number is [redacted]0. Thank you, Chelsea K.

I am hoping to discuss my account with a representative. I was on unemployment for a few weeks and continue to be unemployed due to the COVID-19 situation. Unfortunately, my benefits have expired at the same time the stay-at-home order was put in place. My bills are still due on time and are not flexible given the circumstances. I would appreciate a conversation to explore options for an extension or additional benefits to assist me during this crisis. Please return my call. Thank you.

I recently filed a claim for benefits and mistakenly claimed for three weeks instead of just the last week ending on 4/4/20. I filed in March and now need to correct this error. I would appreciate speaking with someone to rectify the situation.

I'm having issues claiming my weekly benefits for unemployment due to COVID-19. I applied for benefits for the week of 3/29-4/04/[redacted] and received a response stating my claim is not payable. I tried contacting the Reemployment Call Center twice with no luck and am unsure why my claim is being denied. I need assistance before filing for next week. I have tried calling all available numbers, but how can I speak to a representative for help? Thank you.

I have outstanding unemployment debts from [redacted] and [redacted] that have been affecting my income tax returns. Despite disputing the balance, I couldn't hire a lawyer due to financial constraints. I suspect errors in the books are the cause, as my income barely reached $[redacted] a week. I've been steadily employed for four years now, but the situation remains unresolved. I need to reach a representative to address this issue, but have been unable to since April 1 when I filed my claim. My callback date is set for April 11, and I'm hopeful to receive my Bank of America card with some funds. A previous conversation hinted at waiving $[redacted] in fines and interest, leaving a balance of $[redacted]. However, the State insists I should be receiving assistance instead of accruing more debt. I'm eager to have this matter resolved. Thank you, Sandra Atack.

I am currently attempting to claim my unemployment benefits for the weeks ending 03/21 and 03/28. Unfortunately, the website seems to be experiencing technical issues, leaving me unable to access the necessary resources. Despite my consistent efforts over the past week, I have not been successful in reaching the department of unemployment insurance. This situation is particularly challenging as I am without work due to COVID-19, and I have urgent financial obligations to fulfill. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

I have emailed about my claim before, but no one has responded. I haven't been able to reach anyone by phone, and I've been waiting for weeks. If you are reading this, please explain why my claim is still pending. I have asthma and cannot work, so my employer will support my claim, but there has been no progress on my end or theirs. A response to acknowledge my emails would be appreciated.

Hello, I am in need of assistance. I applied for unemployment more than three weeks ago. The status has shown as filed since then, and my case indicates "Next Payable Week: 03/21/[redacted]." Despite attempting to claim benefits every day within the specified timeframe, I receive an error message at the end stating "your certification cannot be processed." I have diligently tried to reach the service center by phone every day, calling every 30 minutes during their operating hours, but I have been unable to connect. Additionally, I sent an email on April 1st and another on April 8th seeking help, but have not received any response. I would greatly appreciate any assistance as I am currently facing financial difficulties due to delayed benefits. Thank you for your help.

My name is Carminia Suarez and I filed my claim on March 21, [redacted]. My Claimant ID is [redacted]17. Unfortunately, I made a few errors when I filed my claim, which may be why I haven’t received an update. This is my first time doing this, and I mistakenly entered the wrong information for my gross income. I inputted the amount I received after taxes, which was $[redacted].20, instead of my gross amount of $[redacted].00 for the period of March 15, [redacted], to March 21, [redacted]. Due to COVID-19, our boss instructed us to file for unemployment on that day. When I checked my claim, it mentioned calling for authentication, but I have been unable to get through due to the busy phone lines caused by the pandemic.

I submitted a claim on 03/22/[redacted] due to the closure of my workplace because of COVID-19. My claim was pending for weeks until I was finally able to certify for benefits. I have claimed for three weeks, but have not received any payment. Despite having set up direct deposit, every time I certify, I receive an email stating the claim is not payable. I have been unsuccessful in reaching out for help. I desperately need assistance as I am falling behind on bills and rent. My benefits are ready, but there seems to be a simple issue preventing me from receiving them. I urge someone to address this promptly so I can receive my much-needed payment.

I submitted my unemployment claim on March 29th and had to provide additional details on Monday, March 30th. They informed me via email that I would receive a letter by mail if approved for benefits. On Friday, April 3rd, I received an email stating funds would be deposited in 2 days, which they did. The paper mail arrived on Saturday, April 4th, instructing me to file my claim on Wednesday, April 8th. While filling it out, I was unsure about some questions regarding seeking work as my job is closed due to COVID-19. I also made mistakes on whether I had worked in the past 2 weeks. After several attempts to correct these errors, I received an email mentioning a review of my claim but did not receive any funds this week. I've been calling since last Wednesday without any response. I submitted my claim again today at 1 p.m. to avoid further errors. Thank you, Jennifer D.

I have not received an unemployment payment in three weeks. I have followed the specified call times but have not been successful in reaching anyone. I recently completed my schooling before the CV19 pandemic and had to file a new claim, as instructed in a letter received yesterday. When I called today, I was told I need to speak to an agent regarding this claim. Despite multiple attempts over the past three weeks, I have not been able to get through. I have also sent two emails through the website's 'contact us' option. I am in a difficult financial situation and any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. - L.E.

I created an account a couple of weeks ago and attempted to log in. After entering my information, I received an error message stating that the password was entered incorrectly. I proceeded to reset the password and answered the security questions, which are typically the same for all my accounts. Despite this, I received another message stating the security answers were wrong. I have attempted various methods to log in, including trying saved passwords and using the initial password I set up with, but to no avail. After multiple unsuccessful login attempts, I have been locked out for the past three weeks. I have submitted the form multiple times but have not received any responses. I am seeking assistance on resolving this ongoing issue. Thank you.

Hello, I filed for unemployment due to COVID-19. I work as a waitress, and my job had to close down. My claim transitioned from processing to filed on March 22nd. However, my entire claim shows zero dollars – indicating there are no benefits owed to me. Despite attempting to call for weeks, I haven't been able to reach anyone. The automated system confirms there are no benefits due to me, and I suspect I may have made an error when initially applying. I am unable to figure out how to amend the claim. I have been without work for a month now and have not received any assistance. As a single mom with two kids, I am facing difficulties. I am hoping to connect with someone who can assist me. My entire claim reflects zero dollars, with no benefits or payments assigned. Thank you.

Hello, I was laid off due to COVID-19 from my job as a waitress at a restaurant. My claim status changed to filed on March 22, [redacted], but when I check, it shows 0 dollars owed to me. Despite entering my information, including my Social Security number and four-digit pin, the account still shows 0 dollars owed with no payments received. I am new to filing for unemployment and concerned I filled out the application incorrectly. I did not receive a confirmation email or any mail about my claim, and it seems like there are no funds allocated to me. Having worked at the same job for nearly three years, it's frustrating. When I attempt to file during my scheduled time, I'm prompted to call the office, leaving me in a challenging situation as a single mom of two without income for a month. I am hopeful to find assistance here. Thank you.

Hello, I recently submitted an unemployment claim and have received all the necessary confirmation numbers. I completed my benefits claim online at the specified date and time. However, when checking the status, the message indicates that the payment is not payable at this time. Despite having all the relevant confirmation information, I have not received any payments. When originally applying, I provided my direct deposit details. Although I received a Bank of America card in the mail, I chose not to activate it, preferring direct deposit. I am concerned that the delay in receiving my benefits may be due to incorrect direct deposit information. The funds are available and were claimed correctly. I would appreciate any assistance. Thank you, E. T.

In February, I was dismissed from my position and applied for unemployment benefits. Despite being denied and not appealing, I secured a new job shortly after but was laid off due to COVID-19. Attempting to file a new claim, I encountered an issue stating my current claim could not be processed due to an existing open claim, though I am not receiving any benefits from it. I need to rectify this to file for unemployment with my most recent job. The lack of updates on resolving this matter has caused financial strain. Your guidance on how to address this obstacle promptly would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your assistance.
