Good morning, my name is Fereri S. I recently lost my job and am currently homeless. I applied for New Jersey unemployment benefits, and after being approved, I received the prepaid card, which I activated over two months ago. Despite claiming my benefits for months, I have yet to receive any money. My situation has become desperate, as my clothes are at risk of being thrown out due to lack of funds. I am in urgent need of assistance. I owe nearly $[redacted] to the storage unit, and my deadline is approaching on the 5th of December. My social security number is [redacted]01, and my claimant ID is [redacted].

I have been attempting to claim my benefits for several months now. After completing the ID verification process, I patiently waited for two months with no updates. When I finally managed to speak with a representative on the phone, they were extremely impolite and instructed me to forward the ID verification email to a non-existent email address. This has left me feeling frustrated and financially strained, as I have not received accurate or complete information. As the holiday season approaches, I find myself without any funds. As a diligent individual, I am disappointed by the lack of support within this system. I kindly ask for the correct information or for the funds from my claim to be released promptly so that I may attend to my financial obligations. Thank you in advance for your assistance.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you can provide. I applied for unemployment on 10/30 and have received the GEN-14-A and BC-3C forms. Despite certifying on five separate occasions, I have not received any payments, resulting in a whole month without income. My Claimant ID is [redacted]92, and my name is Robin D. I have been checking daily, but it still shows as "FILED" with no money sent. This issue is consuming my time every day, which I could be using to search for employment. Your help would mean a lot to me.

I recently received a Determination of Benefits (BC-3C) and a Monetary Determination (Gen-14 A) specifying my weekly payment rate for a set number of weeks. I promptly started certifying but have yet to receive any funds or updates. It's been 7 weeks without work, and I was shocked to hear from a state legislator that my claim has been denied. This is perplexing as the BC-3C clearly outlined the amount I should receive. It's now three weeks before Christmas and I'm left without a job or income. According to the information on the unemployment website, if the BC-3C indicates an amount, you should expect to receive that sum. Discovering otherwise through a third party is disheartening.

I filed an unemployment claim in May [redacted], but it had an error and has not been resolved. My status shows as 0, and I've been trying to get help, but I'm struggling as I'm not great with computers. At 77 years old, I've been working through Covid and need assistance with my claim as it's still open from the last time I was denied benefits. I've had trouble getting through on the phone as it's always busy. Please reach out to me for help. Thank you, Josephine F. [redacted]

I am struggling to access my account and reset my password to claim my benefits. I also require assistance with claiming my pandemic benefits from [redacted]. Despite multiple attempts, I never received any follow-up. I am in need of guidance from a NJ Unemployment representative to help me navigate through my concerns effectively.

I applied for unemployment a few months ago. My claim got approved, and they provided me with an amount. However, whenever I attempt to certify for payment, it shows as unpayable at this time. I have verified my ID and have been relying on my savings since then. It's been challenging to reach a real person to resolve this issue, and I am using all my available credit just to manage day by day. Every time I try to certify, it automatically denies me without any explanation. The New Jersey unemployment center is also difficult to contact; I try calling 10 times a day, and it prompts me to call again the next day.

I am Logan H., and I filed a claim on January 29, [redacted]. I have only received an email stating the process may take up to three weeks. Despite being patient, this delay is unreasonable. I have been unemployed for five weeks and have not received any benefits. Every morning, I call the office, but it consistently states that all agents are busy. Today, I finally got a callback, but the call disconnected after a 15-minute wait. I need assistance to expedite the validation of my claim.

I applied for unemployment on 02/20/[redacted]. I received confirmation that my claim was filed and my weekly benefit rate is $[redacted] for 26 weeks. Despite filing my weekly claims regularly, each time I attempt to file, I am informed that my claim is not payable. My attempts to reach a representative by phone have been unsuccessful, and now I am owed $1,[redacted] in benefits. This situation has become urgent as I am depleting my finances and need to cover my mortgage and bills.

For the past few weeks, I have been submitting my benefits over the phone successfully. However, I'm encountering an issue when trying to claim online - it keeps showing an error when I input my pin. Today, while using the phone option, the automated voice instructions are cutting off mid-sentence. This is making it difficult to understand what is being asked. After struggling through, I'm unsure if my claim went through. Upon attempting a second time, the voice prompt directed me to speak with an agent, but they are busy today and suggested trying again tomorrow.

I am a union worker who recently filed a claim for unemployment benefits while I was out of work. I had no issues when I claimed benefits for weeks where I did not work. However, I encountered a problem when I worked for a few days and then was out of work the following week. Despite following their guidance of filing for the weeks accordingly, I have not received payment for the past two weeks. As a local construction worker in New Jersey, I rely on these benefits during slower months of work. It's frustrating that they have not paid me yet, and I believe they are hoping I will forget about it. This situation is unfair to me as a union member. Thank you for your assistance. - DAN

I am currently waiting for a determination of my eligibility, which seems unfair to me. I mistakenly selected "fired" instead of "laid off" on my claim form. After receiving the adjudication questionnaire, I clarified that I was actually laid off due to the company downsizing. I am now unsure about what steps to take next since I am currently unemployed. Many of my friends who also worked at the company were in the same situation as me, as we were all affected by the lay off. We were unaware that we needed to specify "laid off" when our second shift was let go at the company. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could provide assistance to us.

Hello, I have not yet received my Unemployment Benefit Claim payment for last week. I received an email mentioning that a payment of $[redacted].00 has been processed and sent to my DIRECT DEPOSIT account, but after two business days, the funds have still not appeared in my account. This payment was not affected by any major or Federal holidays, which sometimes delays processing by an extra day or two. I rely on this payment to settle payments for services recently provided by others. I recently received a new debit card due to fraudulent activity on my previous one. I am unsure if this may have impacted the processing of my latest benefit payment. I would appreciate guidance on this matter and a quick resolution. For contact, please email me at [redacted] or call me at ([redacted])-[redacted]. Thank you, E.M.

Last July, I applied and was approved for NJ Partial Unemployment. Initially, I successfully claimed for one week, but encountered issues with subsequent weekly claims. Despite my efforts to contact the state for assistance, I was unable to resolve the problem. During this time, I faced health challenges and personal setbacks, such as relocating due to housing market changes, with my 8-year-old son. Financially, I have fallen behind, and timely unemployment benefits could have alleviated some struggles. I acknowledge my responsibility in not pursuing a resolution more diligently. However, my severe anxiety and panic attacks complicate everyday tasks like making phone calls. I am hopeful there may still be a chance to receive the pending funds.

I applied for unemployment benefits after my company, Kmart, closed in Long Branch, NJ in February [redacted]. I received benefits for a few months but in January [redacted], I was asked to repay the benefits along with a penalty, totaling $[redacted].75. I have sent three certified mails with all the supporting documents to explain my situation. This year, my Federal, State, and Housing credit were affected. In May [redacted], I sent another certified mail with all the necessary paperwork. Recently, I received a response letter from the Department of Labor stating that my case has been resolved. I am unsure of what this entails and would like to speak with someone in person. How can I schedule an appointment at the unemployment office?

Hello, I'm Malcolm Martin seeking assistance with an unemployment matter. I was receiving benefits during the pandemic until I began working for Amazon. After being terminated for failing to provide proof of my covid exposure, I submitted documentation of my girlfriend's covid diagnosis. Now, unemployment is asking for repayment, but I believe I complied correctly. I hope to find a resolution to this issue. Thank you.

I need to speak with someone regarding the email below. I received confirmation that my claim for weekly Unemployment Insurance benefits, under Confirmation #[redacted][redacted], has been received. However, it states that my claim is not payable at this time. It mentions pending appointments or awaiting a determination due to an appeal. If you are unsure why your claim is not payable, please reach out to your nearest Reemployment Call Center for further assistance.

I am seeking assistance from a representative from the NJ Department of Labor regarding my job situation. I was an assistant principal whose position was eliminated, but due to my tenure as a teacher in the district, I can return to a teaching role with a reduced salary, including 10 days of per diem work each summer. I am unsure how to claim this as I cannot create an online account or get in touch with a live representative to address this matter. Thank you.

I am experiencing difficulty claiming my unemployment insurance. When I try to speak to a representative over the phone, the system does not allow me to connect with someone. Filling out the online form leads me to an error message stating that my claim cannot be processed. My unemployment benefits supposedly began on June 25, but I have not received any assistance. I am stuck in a frustrating situation dealing with the New Jersey Department of Labor's website and phone lines.
