I am experiencing difficulty in claiming my unemployment insurance. When I try to contact a representative through the phone lines, I am unable to connect, and completing the process online results in an error message stating that the claim cannot be processed. My unemployment claim began in June **, and I have not received any updates from the NJ Department of Labor despite my attempts to reach out through their website and phone lines.
I received an email last Friday informing me that my account was created and id verified, but I am having trouble claiming my weeks. When I try to claim either by phone or online, I receive an error message after entering the link. I am unsure if I have a pin; is there a default pin I should use? Additionally, I need guidance on setting up back pay. I initiated my unemployment claim on August 30th, but I have been unemployed since July 13th and was advised to claim the weeks retroactively. I am concerned about being unable to certify my weeks. I hope to resolve this issue promptly to alleviate my stress regarding receiving my unemployment benefits.
I encountered an issue while renewing my SNAP and GA assistance. I submitted my application on 5/26/[redacted] and missed a call for my interview on 9:30 instead of the scheduled 10:30-11:30 slot. I submitted a new application around 07/26/[redacted]. I urgently need help as I am struggling with food insecurity and lack of income. Your assistance is crucial in this difficult situation. Thank you for your understanding and support. - B. Noonan
I was initially denied unemployment due to a small business I ran, although in the startup phase and reported a net $9,[redacted] loss last tax season. As the sole proprietor, I have not taken any income from the business as I have no employees. I net $0 every week. I submitted an appeal on June 12, [redacted], and have not received a response. Even after contacting Congressman Donald Norcross, who referred me to Tina Williams, and multiple inquiries were made, I have not heard back from the NJ DOL as of September 14, [redacted]. Additionally, I continue to receive emails for job openings from the NJ DOL automated system.
Since June 8, [redacted], I have not received any unemployment payments. An email indicated that I claimed to have received pension/retirement funds for the week ending on 8/12/[redacted], which is incorrect as I did not have such benefits from my previous employer. The email mentioned that I would be receiving a letter in 4 weeks, which I have not yet received. I have been consistently filing for unemployment every week. I am seeking assistance from the unemployment office to rectify this error in their records and ensure I receive the payments owed to me. Should I contact my former employer or what other actions should I consider to resolve this matter?
I need to reach out regarding my unemployment claim. The system states I owe them, but I believe it's due to fraud as I didn't claim benefits when I was working. Despite attempts to file, I was told I couldn't receive benefits, which is unusual as I've not encountered this issue previously when not working. I wish to address this to potentially receive the benefits owed. I would appreciate speaking to someone to review the system or clarify my eligibility status. I need this information for the social services board, so kindly contact me at my provided number. Thank you.
I have been struggling to receive my NJ Unemployment Benefits as I have been unable to successfully claim them despite numerous attempts through phone calls and online.
