I signed up for the trial and reviewed the information provided, but I was not impressed. When I tried to cancel, I had a hard time finding the right process and had to go through a series of steps. Upon checking my bank account, I discovered that they charged me $14.95, which is double the amount I was supposed to pay for three months, in addition to a $1.00 charge and a $23.85 charge that I am unaware of. When I tried to email them, I found out that they had accessed all the addresses from my email address book, which I find invasive. As a 69-year-old on social security disability, I feel this is extremely unethical and wrong, and I did not authorize any money to be withdrawn from my account. I intend to inform my bank about this on Monday. Thank you for listening, VAUNITA BABB.

I am not a member and refuse to join to address the inaccuracies on your website about my reputation. Despite claiming to improve people's reputations, you are jeopardizing mine with false information. I have no bankruptcies, liens, civil suits, judgments, or criminal reports. I have a credit score of [redacted] and am a respected business person in my community. The misinformation on your site, including my non-existent traffic violations, is damaging. I expect you to rectify these errors promptly to avoid legal action. Thank you, R.P. Parker Bailey, CO

I recently purchased a one-month background check service online to address concerns about negative information being scanned on my background check. However, I was surprised to see a charge of $1 plus over $80 for a one-year subscription that I did not authorize. I contacted customer service the next day to cancel and request a refund. The operator agreed to the refund, but it has been six business days, and I have not received it yet. I insist on a full refund to my Visa card promptly as I consider these unauthorized charges to be equivalent to theft. Kindly inform me once the refund has been processed.

There seems to be a mix-up with the profiles here. My sister-in-law, Jennifer F., attended Bergen Community and William Paterson and works as a drug counselor. Meanwhile, I attended Rutgers and NYU and had one bankruptcy in [redacted]. It's frustrating that our information has been combined, affecting my credit score negatively. Despite my efforts, the incorrect data persists online. It's important to resolve this issue promptly. Thank you for your assistance.

There appears to be a mix-up between my life profile and my ex-sister-in-law, Jennifer Fritsky Randazzo. My name is Jennifer Fritsky, and although we share similarities like living in North Arlington and Lodi at different times, working in social work and substance abuse fields, attending different universities, and having different bankruptcy histories, our information is incorrectly linked on MyLife. Despite my efforts to clarify this by adding a note explaining the bankruptcy discrepancies, the issue persists. It seems like MyLife is not taking corrective action, and I have encountered challenges removing my information from other websites as advised. I am considering escalating this matter to ensure the accuracy of my profile.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that I discovered your website during an online search of my name. Mentioning an alleged debt of $[redacted], I must clarify that this owes to a former partner who misused my credit card without authorization, possibly out of spite following our breakup. I have consistently disputed such unauthorized charges, leading to their removal by the issuing banks due to the lack of consent. Since facing health issues and being unemployed for nearly two years, I have ceased using credit cards, cancelling them gradually upon stopping work. The charges attributed to me on your platform are unsubstantiated as I haven't engaged with such websites, suspecting potential fraudulent activities based on consumer complaints. I cannot access your site as it demands a valid credit card, which I no longer possess. I assure you that I never permitted the creation of an account in my name. I'm providing an email address used during the relevant period for communication purposes. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

I initially signed up for a trial but called to cancel due to financial constraints as a single person. Despite this, I was unexpectedly charged twice, putting my account in the negative just before my upcoming vacation. The added fees are impacting my vacation budget which is distressing. I would like the service cancelled promptly to avoid further overdrafts. My finances are tightly managed, and any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, LB.

I contacted your customer service line to terminate my subscription. During my first call, I was unable to speak with anyone despite hearing background chatter, so I ended the call and tried again. The woman who eventually answered was impolite and failed to cancel my subscription as requested. I also need my other subscription terminated and all my information removed from MyLife. The inaccuracies on your platform are troubling. Google provides more reliable information. I will attempt to cancel my subscription a third time and delete my account. I have informed my friends about MyLife, but I believe accurate and up-to-date information is crucial. For instance, the information about my boyfriend is completely incorrect, stating he is a married woman, which is false.

I have attempted to reach out to MyLife to cancel my subscriptions and remove my information. During my second call, I encountered a rude lady who canceled one of my subscriptions but abruptly ended the call when I agreed to take a survey. I wanted to provide feedback on their service and express the importance of accurate information and consent when sharing personal details. The inaccurate information displayed not only about me but also about my friends prompted my concern. Fortunately, I discovered this issue promptly so I can address my "bad reputation." I am hopeful that my information will be promptly removed to avoid any legal action for defamation.

I have been receiving emails regarding my reputation score, but the name and location provided are incorrect. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out by phone, the issue remains unresolved. I am now considering escalating this matter to the Better Business Bureau. The information being circulated about me, such as the name Victoria Seeger-Stein from Mount Vernon, OH, is completely inaccurate. It is crucial to verify details before reporting on individuals. I have consulted with family members in law enforcement who advised that legitimate sources should have the correct information on file. If my official information is on record, please ensure it is used accurately. Otherwise, I am hesitant to share further details as it may be a scam to compromise accounts, as cautioned by my relatives. I have documented evidence of these erroneous communications and their impact on my reputation over the past year. I seek resolution to this ongoing issue and hope for a prompt response via email if clarification is needed. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly. Sincerely, Vicki.

Perhaps contacting the media outlets that praised mylife.com's services and informing them about the misrepresentation of names on the site could lead to additional coverage on the negative impact it can have. If they can't even accurately display someone's name and location, how can we trust the accuracy of their life information? It's concerning to consider the consequences of being mistaken for someone with a criminal background. While I am not overly bothered by my information being on the site, the potential risks of mistaken identity are troubling. It might be worth exploring legal advice for those who have been affected by inaccuracies that could harm their reputation or relationships. The situation is unsettling and warrants attention.

I recently noticed that the Michelle Obama page in Perry, Ks, was removed, which is appreciated due to the abusive language used against her and others. However, it seems that there are still ways to access her page. By typing in the browser search line on mylife.com "Michelle Robinson Chicago IL" and selecting her from the list under Michelle L. Robinson in Illinois, Chicago, she is still accessible. Kindly ensure her complete removal from Perry, Ks, and please review my message posted on that page. Thank you.

Dear MyLife Representative, I am writing to address two separate charges on my bank card on 09/26/18 from your website, mylife.com. I agreed to the $11.95 for 1 month of unlimited searches; however, after completing this payment, the website prompted me to view my profile and background check. Upon completion, I was shown the same agreement page I had previously entered my payment details in. Believing I had not completed the $11.95 agreement, I inadvertently authorized a second charge of $[redacted]. I did not intend to subscribe to MyLife.com and feel I was misled and taken advantage of. I have not used your services and request the charges be promptly refunded. I will contact you during your next business hours to ensure a quick resolution. Sincerely, L.B. Email: [redacted]

I attempted to inquire about the cost of the service but got redirected without an answer. I asked about the source of my personal information and received no response without further details. I am requesting that the company, known as 'My Life', remove my personal information from its public platform, which is highly inaccurate and inappropriate. I want my name, phone number, past, present addresses, and any other details to be deleted from their records. As a spouse of an active service member, our privacy is protected under Opsec and the SSCRA act, and the company is violating this privacy. I have not authorized the distribution of my personal information and request an immediate stop to any further publicizing of my personal details.

I am considering taking legal action against this site. A family member with serious mental health issues has used this platform to contact people I know and spread false information about me, damaging my reputation. This individual has sent me aggressive messages and harassed me to the point where I may need to seek a restraining order. The situation has caused turmoil within my family and tarnished my good name. My only previous trouble was financial, due to my health struggles stemming from being born without a kidney and having a compromised heart, leading to substantial medical bills. The single lien I had was an oversight promptly corrected. This ordeal, caused by the site linking my first and second family, has been a nightmare. The person identified as my relative has displayed stalker-like behavior and I see them as a threat. If my personal information, particularly my name, is not promptly removed from this site, I will be forced to pursue legal action.

I am listed with alias names, which are legal names from my previous marriages. The current presentation implies frequent name changes which is not the case due to my multiple marriages and widowhood. Additionally, two of my ex-husbands' former spouses, wrongly listed as relatives, are not related to me. One of them is involved in the confusion partly due to this misinformation. I am a Christian with a clean record and your site tarnishes my reputation. I am compelled to speak out against this injustice by sharing my negative experience with your platform. Misinformation was used against me by someone who accessed details from your site. If this person couldn't find these unauthorized connections, this problem wouldn't have arisen.

I am writing to request the discontinuation of the automatic renewal for my account. Initially, I intended to only sign up for a 7-day trial, but I have been charged $71.91 on my Visa ending in [redacted]. I signed up for the $1 trial today, November 14th, and noticed the unauthorized charge. Please deactivate my account and cancel any future automatic renewals promptly. I seek resolution swiftly to avoid any overdraft in my bank account. Kindly, I request a confirmation email for the cancellation of the automatic renewal. Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter. Kerri H.

Subject: Request for Cancellation of Account [redacted]84 To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to request the cancellation of account [redacted]84 belonging to my late husband, Dmitri Wood. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulties canceling the account via phone and subsequent internet issues affected my ability to contact you promptly. Regrettably, I am one day late in submitting this cancellation request due to unforeseen circumstances. I urge you to refrain from charging my Chase debit card, which ends in [redacted], as my current situation has left me emotionally and financially strained. Tragically, Dmitri passed away recently, and I am grappling with profound grief. The unexpected loss has left me in a challenging position both mentally and financially. Charging my account would result in overdraft fees that I am unable to cover at this time. I apologize for any inconvenience this delay may have caused and I sincerely request your understanding and compassion during this difficult period. Enclosed is Dmitri's obituary as proof of his passing. Thank you for your consideration. Warm regards, V.W.

I noticed two unauthorized charges of $35.85 each on my bank statement on September 27th and 28th. We did not sign up for this service. Kindly contact me at [redacted] urgently. Being on fixed income, these charges have disturbed our finances. This situation has caused issues because our bills are on auto-pay. Recently, he had more health concerns, leading to a nephrologist appointment due to kidney problems. I prefer to shield him from this financial stress. I request a full refund promptly as we are in dire need of this money. Your swift assistance is greatly appreciated. Thank you and may God bless you. Bambi Lynn S.
