I need advice regarding an issue at a Motel 6. On May 16, [redacted], my girlfriend and I paid for a room until May 19, [redacted]. We checked out but encountered problems on July 3, [redacted], when we tried to stay there again. Despite booking through Priceline, we were told I was on a DO NOT RENT TO LIST without a reason. Despite resolving it, the same situation happened on July 12, [redacted]. I repeatedly faced the same problem each time I returned without any explanation. The motel mentioned unregistered guests, including my girlfriend, who always provided her ID at check-in. This situation doesn't make sense as my girlfriend is always listed with me on the room. I seek advice on how to address this ongoing issue.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Townsend, Georgia on Oct. 4 and checked out on Oct. 5, [redacted]. During my stay, I encountered a non-functional phone in my room, which was a significant emergency. Additionally, there was a distressing presence of roaches in the room, which were crawling on the walls and floors, especially when the lights were off. I was dismayed by these conditions, and despite addressing them with Eddie Patel, the Manager, I was charged $56.52 with no discounts or complementary accommodation provided. I am requesting a refund of $56.52 to be sent to Janice Slott at 75 Magnolia Dr., Kings Park, N. Y. 11[redacted], with the confirmation number for the stay being 4923ACF185. Due to medical reasons, I apologize for the delayed email. No one, not even the manager, would like to stay in such a room facing these issues. Thank you, J. Slott.

On July 29, [redacted], at 2:36 pm, while waiting for my direct deposit to pay for my room, an incident occurred with Amy, the staff member on the night shift. Despite my clear instructions not to disclose my information, Amy shared details with an individual claiming to be my daughter-in-law over the phone. This breach of privacy is concerning, as my financial details were shared without proper authorization. I have documented evidence from the office camera of the incident that took place between 2:35 pm and 2:41 pm. I am currently seeking legal advice to address this matter and hold the motel accountable for violating my privacy. I expect a response via email before my scheduled legal appointment on August 9th. I had a horrendous experience with the customer service and the room at Motel 6 in Orange Park, FL. I tried to show my discount info on my dead phone but the employee charged me $[redacted].52 for two nights instead of the $60 I had found online. The room was infested with roaches and spiders, had dirty sheets, no blanket, and no hot water. The floor was filthy, and there was only one towel. I slipped in the bathroom due to water from a short curtain, hurting my ankle. When requesting cutlery, I was told they had none, so I had to buy some from a store. I felt unsafe when two men followed me outside. I ask for a refund and for the health department to inspect the motel. I have my receipt and will not return until this is resolved.

I recently stayed at Motel 6 in Cerrillos, Santa Fe from August 19 to August 22. I have visited this motel several times in the past, but this time was a disappointment. There were major issues during my stay. The room had dead bugs all over, and I had to request cleaning supplies to manage the situation. The room cleaning service was only offered every four days, which I found unsanitary given the bug situation. The manager was difficult to reach, and there were disturbances in and around the property. The pool was closed, and there were noise disturbances throughout the night. I had a troubling experience and am seeking an explanation for the poor service and a refund for at least one night. I arrived at around 6:00am on Friday, September 2, [redacted], seeking shelter from the scorching heat at home due to a broken A/C. The room I was assigned only had one bottom sheet on the bed, a blanket haphazardly placed, and three pillows scattered on the table. To my dismay, upon closer inspection, I noticed unknown particles and possible bedbugs on the linens. Although I could not identify the type of pests, the situation was unsettling. Fortunately, there was no additional deposit requested, unlike a friend's experience at Motel 6, where a $[redacted] deposit was demanded upfront. The process of reclaiming the deposit post-checkout proved to be a challenge with uncertain outcomes, highlighting the lack of clarity in such policies.

I recently checked out of Motel 6 located at [redacted] S. Access Rd in Longview, TX [redacted]. Unfortunately, my stay was very unpleasant. The noise from upstairs guests running back and forth was disruptive, and despite calling the office multiple times between 3-4 times, no action was taken. To make matters worse, I discovered cockroaches in my room - one on the bed, one on the floor, and another on the wall. When I raised my concerns to the clerk at the office, she seemed more focused on counting her cash drawer than addressing my complaints promptly. She provided excuses for the roaches and mentioned that the rooms were supposedly redone, although mine clearly wasn't. I was informed that I wouldn't be receiving a refund since I had been there for over an hour, despite the presence of roaches in my room. Additionally, I was advised that the $25 deposit would take 2-3 business days to be refunded to my card, which was unexpected. This experience was disappointing, especially after a problem-free stay at another Motel 6 location the previous night. I believe this particular establishment does not reflect well on the Motel 6 brand and I am requesting a refund.

I have been staying at Motel 6 for several days and I am seeking assistance from customer service. I am extremely frustrated with how guests are treated at this location. This morning, I needed to take a shower before my appointments. When I asked for towels at the front desk, I was told I couldn't have any until housekeeping arrived at 10:00 or 10:30. The staff member refused to help me exchange the two towels I had, causing me to potentially miss my appointments. Additionally, a worker entered my room without permission to fix a bathroom door that had come off its hinges. This situation is unacceptable and should not have occurred. I stayed at Motel 6 on Greenwood Street in San Diego, California last night. Shortly after checking in, we discovered three cockroaches crawling on the pizza we brought into the room. After finding more cockroaches and nests throughout the room, we requested a room change and a complimentary stay for tonight. The front desk initially agreed to only comp 30% of our stay. Despite the maintenance man confirming the severe cockroach issue, we are still waiting for a resolution. After working a graveyard shift, I have been waiting for 2 hours with all my luggage. I believe a free night in a different room is a fair request. I appreciate your immediate assistance in resolving this matter so I can continue my stay.

Later, I updated it to October 8th through October 15th. When I arrived at Motel 6 for check-in, they informed me that my room was no longer available. I tried to request a refund through hotel.com, but Motel 6 refused multiple times. This lack of professionalism is concerning, especially during tough economic times. I was in the process of moving to Florida when I made this reservation. A reservation was made at Motel 6 near downtown for Cameron Douglas, with my name, Bambi Lopez, included. I contacted the hotel 2 hours before the reservation and was told not to come since my name was not on the reservation. After receiving the front page showing my name prominently, I called back, but was still denied. Eventually, I was allowed to have the room, but it was too close to the cancellation time, and I risked losing my deposit. The hotel staff seemed frustrated and unhelpful, causing a delay in resolving the issue. I was advised to contact corporate to address the problem, as the front desk misinformed me and almost led to me losing my deposit. Thank you.

We purchased a room with cash, and my boyfriend paid in cash while I used my card for additional charges. Even though I mentioned I didn't have a valid ID, they processed the transaction without verifying my signature. After being there for 20 minutes, they abruptly asked us to leave, refusing to refund us, despite my recent loss of ID. This left us stranded in 50-degree weather. The staff, Chris and Amy, were unhelpful and insensitive, despite knowing our situation. They insisted on keeping our money, arguing that my boyfriend signed the agreement, even though I signed using my name. Now we are stranded, without cash and most of our cards, thanks to their actions.

Unfortunately, I have been exposed to COVID-19 and am experiencing symptoms now. I won't be able to pay my rent today due to missing work because of the virus. My partner has gone to pawn some items to try to get us some money, but for now, I am unwell and desperate. I am requesting to stay one more night as COVID-19 has taken a toll on me. I stayed at Motel 6 in Corpus Christi for three days with my husband, who was the registered guest. I was not registered because I didn't have my ID with me; even a photo of my driver's license on my phone wasn't accepted. Prior to our stay, my wallet was stolen from my car at the same motel. On the third day, both my husband and I were arrested by the police in the parking lot for warrants. During our arrest, the police searched our car and motel room without a warrant while the manager unlocked our room early. Despite the dramatic situation, nothing illegal was found. We were questioned about someone related to a murder case. After my release, I went back to the motel to collect our belongings, but they refused because I wasn't a registered guest. The lack of access to our things due to not being registered is frustrating, especially since I've been unable to reach a manager for three days. The motel's policy of no managers on weekends seems unreasonable, and I'll have to wait until Monday to retrieve our belongings, including medication.

This morning we checked out, and my wife discovered our son had left his new clothes in the room. Despite calling the office, they claimed nothing was found. I went back to double-check and even booked the room again for tonight, inspecting thoroughly. Despite these efforts, the front desk insists nothing was left behind. Unfortunately, our son's six new outfits, still with tags, purchased just yesterday, are missing. The only individuals who had access to the room after us were the motel 6 staff. It seems that someone has taken our child's clothes.

We had made payment arrangements, and he still wouldn't allow me to go to work. If I lose my job, he should face consequences, and I am requesting one week of paid stay here along with a refund of $[redacted] for the three days I stayed. The pet waste outside is not being cleaned up, and there are odors of dog urine and marijuana in the hallways that are not being addressed. After taking my money, he suddenly asked me to leave. I intend to contact an attorney regarding his refusal to let me go to work. The manager's behavior was unprofessional, and I believe he should be terminated. There are several aggressive stray dogs on the premises. I have seen other dogs being attacked, which is why I had to intervene to protect my own dogs. Despite reporting this to the office, they have refused to take any action, including contacting animal control. I thought the property would be safe for my dogs since I always keep them on a leash whenever they are outside.

I am experiencing a frustrating payment issue with my reservation through Hopper. They claim there is a balance of three cents to be paid at the property, yet when I tried to pay, my card was declined. I have been attempting to contact Hopper through their chat feature, but have not been successful. Although Hopper states my room is paid for, the hotel staff does not have any record of the payment.

I have been staying here, and tonight will be my third night. Unfortunately, I had to change rooms last night due to various issues. The room I was initially in lacked hot water, had a faulty air conditioner, and a leaking refrigerator. The replacement room I was given has paint peeling off the bathtub, with the paint scattered throughout the room. Upon using this room, my dog got sick from ingesting some of the peeling paint. Additionally, the sink leaks significantly, forcing me to use my personal towels and an ice bucket. The room's air conditioner remains non-functional, the TV has severe static, and the baseboards are detaching from the walls. To add to the inconvenience, I was charged an extra $10 for it being a Friday. This is now the third room change, and I am extremely disappointed. I believe some form of compensation is warranted for the inconvenience and degradation in the room quality I have experienced.
