I purchased a Surface Pro 6 a few months back from Costco. Initially, everything was fantastic until I encountered an issue with the charger. When plugged in, the indicator light does not turn on, and the device doesn't charge properly. Despite trying various troubleshooting steps like changing outlets and flipping the charger, the problem persists. I even received a replacement charger from Microsoft, which worked temporarily. It's frustrating not being able to charge my computer, especially after investing a significant amount in a reliable device. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this charging issue. Thank you.

I received a notification to change my password, and while trying to do so, I discovered that my account has an incorrect address linked to it. I must update my account details. Additionally, I was informed to download a different version of Windows 10 as the existing one mimicked Windows 7, which I would like to replicate with the updated version. However, after installing the new Windows 10, Outlook [redacted] is showing an error regarding fixing ...\Personal Folders(1).pst, causing issues with Office [redacted] compatibility on the new Windows version.

I received a notification from HP computers regarding a necessary BIOS update. Following the automated process, my computer rebooted to the Windows 10 login screen. Upon entering my usual PIN, I was prompted for a password due to a security setting change. Despite trying various passwords, past and present, I am unable to access my Microsoft account. I attempted to reset the password through Microsoft, received the first code via email, changed the password, but it did not work. Unfortunately, the second code was not received with no option for a resend. At this point, I am feeling lost in the troubleshooting process.

Hello, I need help recovering my Microsoft Hotmail account. Today, I got a notification about suspicious activity on my account, possibly due to logging in from a different country while traveling. I can't access the contact number linked to my account (it's an old account and I moved countries). I provided verification information and details of recent emails but was still locked out after trying three times. I'm worried as I need access for my travel bookings. Please advise on the next steps and I'll provide any necessary identification. Not having my email is causing me a lot of stress. Thank you.

I have experience working with Windows computers for years and have even built 4 myself. Lately, I keep getting a notification that Windows 10 is expiring, but I haven't been able to find clear support on whether this is accurate. The lack of reliable information and support from Microsoft is frustrating me. Considering the excellent Apple support my kids receive, I am contemplating trying an Apple product. Could someone confirm whether Windows 10 is really ending? Please reply via email at [redacted] Thank you, - W. Vaughn

Over the years, I had [redacted] as my primary email and also used [redacted] for various conversations. After retiring from Bechtel in [redacted], I stopped using the Microsoft email system and leaned more towards Gmail, which turned out to be a mistake. Attempting to log back into Outlook recently was challenging as I couldn't recall my old passwords and was stuck in an account recovery loop. Each time, despite my attempts, I received a message stating the information provided wasn't enough for validation. Although I have PST files for important emails, I wish to restore my email address for contact purposes. I also aim to move away from Google and towards Microsoft. I propose a live telephone discussion with tech support to prove my identity and recover my email. Providing details like moving locations could be helpful in the verification process. I hope for the chance to regain access to my account. Thank you, John.

I have been attempting to access my emails but encountered a block on Wednesday. Unfortunately, the usual steps I follow have also been blocked. I am feeling quite frustrated with the automated services as I am unable to reach a resolution. I simply want to speak with someone to address this issue promptly. Regarding the security question, I established it approximately 8 years ago and cannot recall 'who my favourite teacher is' this far back. Despite providing recent titles and email contacts, I am still locked out of my account. The situation is impeding me from accessing vital emails, causing significant delays. I appreciate the emphasis on security measures, but I prefer receiving such notifications from a person rather than an automated system. I have shared my work email below for communication purposes, which coincidentally shares the same name as the account I am trying to access.

I purchased Minecraft for Windows 10 yesterday, but I'm unable to sign in with my Microsoft account to play with my wife on the switch. Despite multiple attempts such as reinstalling the game, using PowerShell to reinstall the Windows Store, and connecting my Microsoft account in different ways, the issue persists. Whenever I press "Sign in," a pop-up briefly appears and disappears, displaying an error message stating, "We tried to sign you in, but something went wrong." At this point, I feel frustrated and defeated. I require assistance with resolving this issue or a refund from Microsoft.

After updating to the new version of Windows 10, I noticed that the layout in "File Explorer" has shifted. Since the update, I'm experiencing issues with the iCloud app and the two OneDrive clouds I previously set up. Error messages suggest the original paths for these programs have changed, even though I didn't move them. It seems like the Windows 10 update may have caused these disruptions.

My email got hacked, and the password was changed. When trying to recover it, the account recovery form isn't accepting my answers, making it frustrating. Can you locate where I usually access my email, as I've been using it for years and am logged in on my Windows laptop with the same email?

Yesterday, on 8-9-19, while my son was playing Xbox with friends, a person going by AZ7 wanted to join their party. After being killed in the game, this person somehow obtained my son's IP address and threatened him knowing he lives in Tennessee. AZ7 then maliciously shut down our entire household's internet. We heavily rely on the internet to stay connected with family who live far away. Is there a way to secure our IP address and prevent such intrusion? It is alarming and unacceptable behavior. Thank you, Taffy Cox.

I have attempted to submit a support request to Microsoft five times regarding a phone call I received from someone claiming to be from Microsoft. The caller mentioned issues with my computer and offered to connect me with support if I pressed the number 9 on my phone. When I encountered trouble with my iMac screen, I followed the caller's instructions and connected with support. Despite receiving several emails with links for assistance, they were not helpful. Additionally, I faced difficulties with the Support request site, where the page kept blinking out and erasing my entries. Eventually, my fourth attempt was successful. To avoid further issues, I turned to the "GetHuman" support page, where I had no problems. I am still seeking validation that the initial call was genuinely from Microsoft. Thank you. My other PC won't boot up. I am receiving a black screen with an "EEPC has been corrupted" error message. I believe this is related to McAfee endpoint encryption for PC. McAfee advised me to contact the system manufacturer as they cannot help if the PC doesn't boot up. The problematic PC runs on Windows 10. I am looking for advice on how to resolve this myself before resorting to taking it to a PC repair shop. Regards, Darren

I have been using my email for three years, and I've changed my password a few times. However, I recently found a password that I can remember, but Outlook is now asking me to change it. I prefer to keep my current password as it is the only one I can remember. Unfortunately, I am unable to access my account without changing the password. Can you assist me with this issue? My email address is [redacted] Thank you.

My email got hacked, and the password was changed. I tried to recover the account but had trouble answering all the questions correctly since I couldn't access my email. I have been using this email for years and am usually logged in on my Windows laptop. It would be helpful if they could verify my location or device for access.

After a Windows auto-update, my browser history stopped working until I signed in with my Microsoft account. I am sure my Microsoft account has the correct password. Despite entering my correct Windows password, I am asked to verify with my Microsoft password, but then told it is being used by someone else even though my PC is logged into my Microsoft account. The issue seems never-ending. I prefer not to change my passwords as they are accurate. Could you please address this Microsoft Windows error? Thank you, MZ.

Users require a Microsoft account to access various Microsoft websites like Outlook, Bing, and MSN on Windows OS. To sign in, an email address and password are needed. If a password is forgotten, the account recovery form can help. First, make sure to have a recovery email. Fill out the recovery form with accurate information and wait for a response within 24 hours. Tips for filling out the form include using a familiar location and providing sufficient information. If the request is denied, it can be attempted twice a day. For Microsoft account password reset, follow these steps: visit the password recovery page, enter the Outlook email address, choose a verification mode, receive and input a security code, then create and confirm a new password. Microsoft customer service is available 24/7 for further assistance. Contact them through their website, live chat, phone, or email.

I am still experiencing issues installing KB******* on my Windows ** version ****. I attempted to resolve it by clearing Buggy update files through CMD (admin), stopping wuauserv and bits, clearing the SoftwareDistribution Download folder, running DISM to RestoreHealth, running sfc scannow, restarting, and trying to install KB******* manually, but I am still encountering an error. Could you provide me with further assistance on this matter?

I have forgotten my password and cannot reset it due to my outdated phone number linked to the account. I have attempted the account recovery form multiple times but have not succeeded in verifying my ownership. I am currently unable to access my Xbox ID due to not having my Xbox with me. The debit card linked to my Xbox account was stolen, so I had to cancel it and order a replacement. I would appreciate it if the phone number associated with my account could be updated to my new number, ([redacted])-[redacted], as the old one, ([redacted])-[redacted], is no longer valid.
