I purchased an Xbox One from Microsoft on 11/27/15. On 12/3/15, I received a promo code for $60 for the Microsoft store. I assumed the code would be valid for a year and tried to use it on 11/17/16, only to find out it had expired on 6/30/[redacted]. Although the fine print did mention the expiration date, I believe it's reasonable to expect a longer validity period. I'm disappointed that there was no reminder email from Microsoft before the expiration date, which could have easily been done. This situation makes it seem like a tactic to increase revenue by ensuring some customers miss out on using the promo. As a loyal Microsoft and Xbox customer, I feel let down. I am requesting Microsoft to extend the promo for me.

Consulting on Microsoft Visual Studio [redacted] Professional
Hello,
As a small company owner inquiring about Microsoft Visual Studio [redacted] Professional for future software development purposes, I have a few questions regarding the suitability of this product for my commercial endeavors. Currently, I am satisfied working with Microsoft Visual Studio Community [redacted] on personal projects.
1. I seek clarity on whether Microsoft Visual Studio Professional [redacted] is legally permissible for commercial use in my small company to develop and sell software globally.
2. If there are constraints with the Professional version, I would appreciate recommendations for alternative products similar to the user-friendly experience of Microsoft Visual Studio Community [redacted], like Microsoft Visual Studio Professional [redacted].
3. In the event I no longer require the product, can I resell it with the license key under specific circumstances?
4. Should the recommended product be available for download only, is there an option to acquire a physical security medium such as a DVD for backup purposes?
I look forward to your guidance on these matters. Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Waldemar Jost, B.Eng.

On June 7, [redacted], I purchased a Microsoft [redacted] Home subscription. Unfortunately, I realized on July 3 that I had bought the wrong subscription. Upon contacting Microsoft, I was advised to cancel my subscription online for a full refund. I then bought Office [redacted] ProPlus the same day. However, I have not received the refund for the Home subscription yet, and upon checking, I found out it was still active. Despite reaching out to support with case number [redacted], I was informed that it was too late to cancel the subscription. Even after explaining my situation and the switch to a business account, the representative mentioned not having access to handle business accounts. I am requesting the cancellation and full refund of my Home subscription linked to [redacted], as I am now using the business account under [redacted]

Regarding Order #SU[redacted]56ID. Waiting for review confirmation for shipment email! Order Placed/Received: SU[redacted]56ID.
The order mentioned above appears to be incorrect. I have never placed an order with you before. This same situation occurred last month regarding the Apple Music app. Despite my attempts to inform you that I have not made any purchases, I was unable to use the button to indicate that I did not buy the music. Please investigate this matter to clarify whether this is a genuine transaction from your company or possibly a scam. As someone living on disability benefits with limited income, I cannot afford these unauthorized charges. Your prompt attention to this issue would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
R. Dodson

Yesterday, I was away from home and couldn't access my Xbox. I accidentally bought Black Ops 4 Digital Deluxe Edition on my laptop using the account [redacted] instead of my Xbox Live account, [redacted] I need either a refund for the purchase on [redacted] to buy it on [redacted], or the game could be possibly transferred to the correct account. If neither option is available, I am willing to connect my Xbox Live account to [redacted] to access the game. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I have a $50 Microsoft Store gift card that I received in [redacted] for purchasing a Surface Book. Originally ordered online, the product had a defect, so I went to a Microsoft store and paid the difference for a better model. With this purchase, I also received a $50 gift card. The issue is that I can't use the card online because it's a "Fastcard" without the usual 25-digit code. It seems this card can only be used in-person at the store, but I am not near any Microsoft stores currently. Is there a way for me to exchange this card for a $50 credit or receive a different one that works online?

Dear Sirs, I am having trouble accessing my account with you today. I have been unable to log in as my passwords were not accepted. I tried making the necessary changes, but with no success. A few hours ago, I received a phone call from someone claiming to be from your company, notifying me that my account has been canceled and providing two phone numbers to call for a refund, although I am unsure what money it refers to as I didn't have time to note down the numbers. Could you please explain the situation and provide a correct phone number for me to contact? I have been a long-time user of Excel and Word for both Windows and MAC, relying on your services for updates. I hope to hear back soon to restore a good relationship with Microsoft and continue using your software. Sincerely, GD

Order number [redacted] - FLIR FX Indoor & Outdoor HD Security Camera Bundle
I purchased the Flir camera bundle in November [redacted] for $[redacted].99 plus tax, totaling $[redacted].99. Unfortunately, after numerous attempts, I couldn't get the product to work, despite assistance from IT specialists. They confirmed it's outdated and unsupported by FLIR updates. As a result, I was unable to utilize the cameras.
Due to the misleading promotional material and the non-functional nature of the product, I kindly request a refund to my American Express credit card. I am willing to return the cameras if needed. Thank you.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a customer at Groupon and also a volunteer caregiver for an elderly lady. On 10/24/18, I purchased MICROSOFT 1x Office [redacted] Personal - 1 PC - 1 Year for her through Groupon.
The internet and Outlook are among the few ways the elderly lady stays connected to the outside world. After forwarding the purchased documents to her, I recently tried to install the new software post my illness. It came to light that the lady attempted to pay Microsoft €69.00 directly again while trying to install it herself.
What can I do to retrieve one of these payments for the lady? I appreciate your understanding. I can provide all necessary documentation.
Groupon directed me to Microsoft in the attached communication. The license key from you has not been activated yet. Since the elderly lady has a modest pension, I hope for your generosity and an unexpected Christmas gift for her.

I recently purchased the regular Minecraft game from the Windows Store online instead of opting for the more expensive Windows 10 versions. Upon trying to install the game, I encountered an error message stating that I don't have any applicable devices linked to my Microsoft account, despite being signed in on a compatible device. I have attempted to install it on my computer with the Microsoft Store without success. I have also tried on another Windows 10 computer linked to my account. My goal is to successfully install the game without encountering this error message.

Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently noticed an unauthorized charge on my credit card statement from Microsoft which occurred on July 26. Upon checking my Microsoft account under [redacted], I saw only one authorized charge for MS Office from December 19, [redacted], which I have already turned off. This discrepancy concerns me as it's not reflecting the recent charge on July 26.
I kindly request the following:
1. Investigate how this unauthorized charge transpired and take measures to prevent similar incidents in the future, as this has been a recurring problem in the past few years.
2. Please promptly reimburse my Kotak credit card, ending in xx0462, for the amount of Rs [redacted].82.
3. Kindly inform me of the resolution once it has been addressed.
The unauthorized transaction needs to be refunded, and I expect measures to prevent any annual recurrences of such charges.

I accidentally made a purchase on the Xbox store while browsing. Regrettably, I do not have the funds to cover the cost of the game, to the extent that I am unable to pay my rent. I have not played the game and have no intention of doing so. I am aware of the no refund policy for Xbox store items but I am sincerely hoping for an exception in this case. The game in question is Call of Duty Modern Warfare. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in processing a return and having the amount refunded to the original payment method. Your help and consideration in resolving this issue would mean a lot to me. Thank you for your understanding. - P. W.

I have two Windows 10 laptops. I attempted to download separate copies of Minecraft from the Microsoft Store. After successfully installing the first copy and encountering an issue with the second laptop using the same Microsoft Account as the administrator, I deleted the existing account associated with my Microsoft Account on the second laptop. I created a new Administrator account with a different Microsoft Account to purchase the second copy. Despite reinstalling the software, it continues to prompt me to use the original Microsoft Account. The second laptop does not recognize the software under the new Microsoft Account, even though the Microsoft Store reflects that I am logged in with the correct account.

I recently ordered an ASUS Zenbook Duo from the MS online store but need to return it as it lacks the specifications I need for work. I would like to exchange it for the Zenbook Duo Pro (UX581GV-XB94T listed @ $2,[redacted].10). I am willing to pay the balance for the upgrade using my Alliant Credit Union bank payment option on the MS store. I am eager to get this exchange processed quickly as I rely on it for work and personal use. Please advise on the next steps to proceed. Thank you.

Hello, I have encountered the same issue with all four of my Xbox Elite 2 controllers. When I press the RB button once, it often registers twice. I have tested different cords and PCs, but the problem persists across all three of my controllers. I believe it is a hardware issue. I would like to return these controllers for either a refund or exchange them for Xbox Elite 1 controllers, even though they are less expensive. My priority is to have functional controllers, and I'd rather not risk sending them for repair only to face the same problem again.

I purchased the Minecraft Windows 10 Starter Collection approximately 2 hours ago from the official Minecraft website. After being redirected to the Microsoft Store for payment, I realized this version is not what I wanted and have not used any part of the game. I am seeking a refund. Despite contacting Minecraft support, they directed me to the Microsoft Store for the refund process. I am still within the eligible return window but was informed by automated customer support that the item is nonrefundable. I would appreciate it if this could be reviewed, a refund issued if possible, or an explanation provided regarding why it is considered nonrefundable.

I bought an ACER laptop from The Microsoft Store in November [redacted]. The salesperson convinced us to get a 3-year extended warranty, assuring us that we could bring the laptop back if there were any issues. Unfortunately, the computer is overheating to the point that it burned my son's arm and damaged my dining table. With Microsoft stores closed, I contacted tech support who identified it as a hardware problem but couldn't assist due to store closures. The extended warranty company now wants to charge $[redacted] for a claim. I'm frustrated that Microsoft isn't supporting products sold at its closed stores. I invested $[redacted] in a laptop that has become a safety concern and I'm unable to handle the situation easily. Your guidance would be appreciated.

I bought an Xbox Series X, but the Pair/Connect button is not working, preventing me from using a controller wirelessly. After spending a few hours troubleshooting with Xbox Support without success, they advised me to send it in for repair, which may take a couple of weeks. I inquired about a quicker turnaround or the option to swap it out in-store, and they suggested contacting them directly to explore these alternatives.

My brother purchased an Xbox gift card worth 10€, but unfortunately, it's not working. I contacted Xbox customer service, and they redirected me here since the store where I bought it doesn't offer refunds. I'm from Belgium, and I'm hoping to either get a refund or find a way to activate this specific code. Xbox customer service couldn't locate the code in their system or provide a replacement code of the same value. Thank you. - Kelly Verbeek

Today, I received my third replacement Series X controller, but I encountered the exact same issue. I have a loose jack port and my friends hear loud beeping noises when I'm in a party. Despite trying different headsets, various consoles, a factory reset, and removing one console from the preview program, nothing has resolved the problem.
This marks the fourth controller with the same issue. I haven't had the chance to play with the new controller as the one that came with the Series X on launch day was already broken. I was previously promised a 3-month Game Pass Ultimate code for the inconvenience, but I have not received it.
I'm becoming increasingly frustrated now because this time I even received the exact same controller with the same serial number.
