My MeetUp account got deactivated due to messages I had to send to defend myself against a group organizer from an autism group who harassed me in the past. Despite moving on, I recently discovered he continued spreading lies about me to other group organizers, painting me as mentally disabled or potentially troublesome. This resulted in others treating me strangely or trying to exploit the situation for their personal gain. His campaign of lies even extended to his group members, who either acted oddly towards me or pretended to befriend me to gather incriminating information. The organizer's smear campaign, fueled by my ongoing battle with PTSD and anxiety, has unfairly painted me as something I am not. I want my MeetUp account reinstated as I feel unjustly targeted and bullied off a platform that was aiding me in managing my disability. I am willing to provide more details about my unpleasant interactions with the group organizer from Informal MeetUps For Autistic Adults in London. Hi, I'm Waheeda Z. Aazaad. I have used meetup.com sporadically for years. Recently, I attended "The Women's Collab Networking Meeting" hosted by Cathy. During the event, a participant made an unpleasant comment about not doing business with me due to having long-standing connections. Despite the discourtesy, I remained composed. However, Cathy has been unresponsive to my emails and messages, and I find myself blocked from meetup.com. Being the only African American woman in a predominantly white women's group, I understand if they prefer not to include me. I have decided to step back from further participation, but I am puzzled as to why I am unable to access other meetup groups.

I recently updated my password for my account and unfortunately, all my data seems to have been deleted. When I attempt to access the groups I was part of, the app claims they aren't available in my region. Even after receiving an email about an upcoming meetup and trying to join by RSVPing, I was met with an error. This issue has caused me frustration and disappointment as I've been trying to resolve it for days. The group organizer suggested that I re-register for everything, but the app is not allowing me to do so.

I am the founder and organizer of the St. Louis Urban Walkers Meetup group, leading the group for about a decade. I've never experienced any issues with the Meetup software until yesterday, July 8, [redacted]. Since then, I've been unable to create an event page or upload pictures due to the software prompting changes that it doesn't allow me to make, among other issues. If I'm facing this problem, I believe other Meetup leaders might be experiencing the same challenges. Could you kindly address and rectify the software issues? I use two email addresses - one for general messages and a private one. Lately, I've been receiving Meetup messages in my private Gmail account, although I had originally set my UCLA email ([redacted]) as the primary one in my Meetup settings. Despite checking and confirming the UCLA address in my settings, I'm still getting messages at my private Gmail. I would like Meetup to remove my private email from their records to ensure I do not receive any messages on that account. I prefer all communications to go to my UCLA address.

A few years back, I signed up for meetup using my Gmail address. Later, I switched to my long-standing MSN address, [redacted], which appears to have created a separate account. However, I can't recall the password for that old account, if it still exists. I keep receiving numerous notifications from the "20&30 Something" group to my Gmail, but it doesn't show up in my current groups list. I've tried unsuccessfully to remove just the "20&30 Something" group. This has been going on for a couple of years now. Can you assist in deleting this group without affecting my active ones? Hello, I've noticed since the recent update that I can no longer view the responses from participants regarding questions I asked for my event, such as whether they need to rent a SUP board. In the past, I would simply click on the participant list and see their answers, making it easy to make plans. Now that this feature seems to be gone, it feels pointless to ask participants any questions. Is there a different method to access the answers or was this function intentionally removed from the app? Thank you, Andrea

I couldn't send my message directly to Francia on my Meetup either. I've been searching for a way to contact her or the support team. I hope I am in the right place. Francia informed me: "If you started your subscription from an Apple (iOS) device, please provide me with a link to your group so I can locate your account." Where can I find it? I hosted my first event recently, but faced harassment from one of my group members, Iris K. The issue arose due to problems with the Meetup website being down on the day of the event. I have recently stepped down as the organizer of the "Many Paths to Inner Peace" meetup group in Fort Myers, FL. I have tried to find a new organizer but only received one response, which was a decline. Before I took over, there were several requests sent out by meetup for someone to take charge.
