I am interested in starting a meetup group where I plan to host meetups in various cities throughout the year. My initial stop will be in Tampa in January, with weekly meetups. I will be staying in Tampa for two months before moving on to Houston, Texas for a month, then Arizona. The plan is to keep traveling and organizing meetups as I go. I am wondering if there is a way to schedule and advertise each meetup at different locations. Is this possible?

1. The Windows 10 Meet-up software is not accepting photos, even though they are in an acceptable format and size (JPEG [redacted] x [redacted] & 1.96 MB). However, the same photo is accepted on the Meet-up software on iPad v 15.7.1. How can I resolve this issue so I can set up events in one location?
2. I changed my profile picture on iPad without any issues, and it is displayed correctly on my profile. However, for a new event, the list of attendees still shows the old photo. The photo was changed a few days before the event, so it should have updated by now. I have two pictures to demonstrate this discrepancy, which I can provide upon request. The photo in question is a JPEG [redacted] x [redacted] & [redacted] KB. These are two mysteries that I would like to have addressed. Thank you.

There is an issue with the DESKTOP version of Meetup, which no longer allows for commenting on individual photos. Our photography group heavily relies on this feature to educate and support each other. The lack of functionality has significantly impacted our community. Using the app or Discussions as alternatives has proven to be inconvenient for us. We urge Meetup to promptly reinstate the ability to comment on photos via the DESKTOP version for the benefit of our vibrant community.

I have an issue with the desktop version of Meetup. Previously, we could comment on individual photos, which was essential for our photography group's community interaction. Now, this feature is missing, affecting our group's cohesion and communication. We are frustrated as we use these comments to educate and support each other. The desktop version's current inability to comment conveniently has severely impacted us. I have been dealing with challenges in my group. No one is showing up and people are dropping out. I attempted to remove members who weren't participating, only to realize I inadvertently sent them direct messages instead of a message to Meetup. This frustrating experience has led me to a breaking point. I don't want to invest nearly $[redacted] Canadian dollars to keep this page going. Therefore, I have decided to remove all members and shut down the page. Please do not send anyone the "Save this Meetup" message. I value my dignity.

I am a member of a Meetup group, and my email is [redacted] My name is Jeanne Ann Karfo, not Jeanne. I was charged a membership fee for the group "Finding Female Friends Over Fifty." I contacted Meetup to request not to renew my membership through the email they provided. However, I noticed a charge on my AMEX statement ending in 3-[redacted] on 2/16/23. I have contacted Amex to dispute the payment to Meetup or the organizer/house host, Belinda. I want to clarify that I do not wish to renew my membership for "Finding Female Friends Over Fifty" and that the charge for the membership fee was $4.00.

As the organizer of a Meetup group, I'm running into issues where despite Meetup confirming the meetup announcements, members aren't receiving the invite emails. This lack of communication is leading to poor RSVP rates. I've reviewed my settings and everything appears to be enabled, so I'm puzzled by the problem. Furthermore, members are not responding to direct messages either, adding to the frustration. It's disappointing to invest significant funds in a system that's failing to deliver. I have been locked out of my Meetup account for the third time now. While I might have initially logged in through Facebook or another platform, I have since reset my password on Meetup correctly. Despite this, I am unable to access anything related to my group. I have had to request to rejoin, likely causing frustration for the Group Admin. Yesterday, I couldn't view any comments from my group. I decided to update my banking app, which included Meetup. I have asked to rejoin my group again, but it is becoming quite irritating for all parties involved due to this being the third occurrence.

I have experienced being locked out of my account for the third time now. The only way this gets resolved is by the organizer allowing me to rejoin the group, meaning I have to send a request as if I were a new member. Even though the events I RSVP’d to are still in my calendar and I am shown as part of the group, I am unable to view them until my request to rejoin is accepted. Moreover, I am unable to participate in any conversations which is quite frustrating. I have tried various troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the app, changing my password, but none have worked. Meetup/Get Human, there seems to be a bug in the system that needs to be addressed. Please fix this issue as it's causing inconvenience for users like me.

Since the start of the pandemic, we have utilized the Meetup platform for our weekly weekend sessions with The Art of Photography International group. Members share photos for critique in albums, but we are encountering occasional issues with disappearing messages. This week, messages seem to vanish after being entered, adding to our frustration. Furthermore, some of us struggle to open the albums on our computers due to high memory usage. As the largest group using Meetup weekly, these ongoing changes are proving to be more bothersome than beneficial for us.

I have noticed that the comments we write in the box next to our photo work have been disappearing over the last few months. This is extremely frustrating as these comments are important for our group sessions and interactions on the site. It seems there is a glitch in the system causing the removal of these comments. Lately, the disappearing comments have been random, but this time they were wiped out for all photos. This issue is unacceptable.

I am Karin, a member of a group called "Manifestation & Mimosas." I recently received an email stating that the group will be closing in 23 days and is in need of a new organizer.
If I were to take over the group, I would like to inquire if it would be possible to change the group's name from "Manifestation & Mimosas" to "Above & Beyond with Karin." Additionally, I am curious if I would be allowed to include my website. Could you please clarify the benefits of becoming the organizer?

Despite not using the service for a while, I was billed $[redacted].86 for a subscription I no longer require. I contacted Kate from Meetup on May 18, [redacted], outlining my request to cancel my subscription and deactivate my account due to non-usage. Unfortunately, I was still charged.

I recently made a payment of $16.50 for a Skip the Small Talk event in Chicago on May 25 through their website. However, I received an email indicating that the transaction was not completed. Thinking the payment hadn't gone through, I bought a second ticket for the same event. To my surprise, both payments were charged to my credit card ending in [redacted], one on May 15 and the other on May 17. I have tried contacting Skip the Small Talk multiple times but have not received a response. I am requesting a refund of $16.50 for the duplicate payment. I've recently discovered that Meetup has been charging my credit card for a 6-month subscription on an account that has been inactive since [redacted]. Unfortunately, I am unable to access the account as the backup emails and phone numbers linked to it belong to a former colleague who is no longer in contact with me. Despite my attempts to contact the helpdesk and recover the account, I have not been successful. To add to this, the charges are being deducted from a new credit card that I did not have linked to the account previously. I'm at a loss for what to do next.

I have been struggling to create an account on Meetup. Despite receiving the verification email, after selecting the "I'm not a robot" box (sometimes the picture verification does not show up), when I click submit, it just reloads the same page. Upon trying to sign in, another verification email is sent to me. Customer service suggested using a private browsing window, disabling pop-up blockers (which I am unsure how to do), and using a mobile device (which I do not have internet access on). Unfortunately, they were unable to sign me up due to privacy reasons. It should not be this difficult to create an account. Please respond quickly as I have limited time left on this library computer before my session ends.

After successfully rearranging the pictures on Meetup, I noticed that the order does not display correctly when revisiting the event. Instead of showing the reordered images, the event still displays them in the original order they were uploaded. I want new viewers to see the more engaging and fun pictures first when they glance at the event page. How can I ensure that the changes in the picture order are reflected accurately on the event page without requiring viewers to open the full album?
